Spike;; lock up your daughters, boys and girls - the dark night returns.
[x] I forced myself to dash across the snow - covered realm, my periwinkle opticals darting from shadow to shadow as I approuched the brook I had chosen to stay at. Slowing to a stop, I allowed my dome to drop to the ground beneath me to let my pink ribbon lap at the cool water that was swirling around my maw. My slick palomino coloured canvas had been grown out into a winter coat, thank god it had covered that long, hideous scar that had run from my withers and down my flank..
[x] The strange fluffed-creature had leapt upon my zenithe as I had twisted to get away to no avail. It's knives had decided to slice into my nape and its ivorns had sunk into my withers. I screamed in pain, I could feel the ivorites run down my flank in an attempt to drag me to the ground, but I had been too slick under it's paws. I dashed to get away and let the wound scab over..
[x] My auditories has slicked backwards a moment before fanning out beside my dialage. I shook it in disgust as I looked at my reflection, but all I could see was my father - that elegant black stallion that went by the name of Twist. He lives in you.. you're a natural killer..

I move in silent as I lurk in the shadows of the timber line as I made my way along, not knowing where I'm going nor where ill end up. The only thing that gave me away was my scent that the air stole from my bodice and swept it across the land. My white pelt blended nicely with the snow that blanket the earth, so the my pelt was not a problem this time around. I let my icy lanterns scans the land around me, as I seen another soul that stood looking into the aqua. Ah could this be another her kind? Or was this another worthless soul, like the other was. I slapped my whipcord upon my sides with boredom as I came to a halt. Letting a snort out toward the other. The snort was more of letting the other know that she was there. If it was one thing she knew what not to just walk up on others, cause that could get you killed in this world.
I watched as snow started to fall from the sky toward the earth. It wasn't much but it was enough to put a new coat of white upon the land and cover the dead looking timbers once more. The breeze sent more chill into the air as the snow felled lightly.
I moved toward the aqua as the snow started to settle upon my pelt making a blanket of coldness down my back. But little did I care. I kept my distance of about 12 feet from the other as I lowered my cerebrum toward the aqua and started to flood my insides with it. I still kept alert on this soul as I wasn't sure about them. I left up my cerebrum as I let my sentinels lend forward to catch any sounds that might come from them as I began to speak. Whats your curse? Indeed she knew this could go either way. But thats something she would find out.
[Hope you don't mind me posting here lolz]

I turned my head around to look at this newcomer, what was she doing here? I shyly flicked my harks backwards - I must've been a fool to speak to my reflection but it was rather tempting. Blue opticals darted over her for a moment before I could even dare let my vocals emit my name, or any sound at all.
My calling is Spike, may I know of yours?
I sounded small for a dark horse, but hey. It was a start, if I could claim this mare I could claim a land, but I sure as hell wasn't about to let that wander into my mind sooner than it was supposed to. I'd take it step-by-step and allow us to get to know each other better, and maybe I could claim her if she so wished. I turned my body to face the essa completely, emitting a friendly snort through my nares.

The dark horses were one of the many unsolved mysteries there was. Indeed we had evil that lurked within us and dare any soul to step forth as we would rip them to pieces and let there blood drown into the earth with no hopes of being saved. But when it comes dark to dark we seem to get along pretty well and don't care what anyone thinks about us.
I watched the brute as he turned his cerebrum toward me and began to study me. His icy lanterns seem to pierce right through me while I started to read his lanterns. By that, just looking in his eyes, he seem pretty sure of himself so far. He seemed like he wanted to go to more places. But maybe I'm just jumping ahead of myself.
My sentinels lends toward him while my eardrums catches the words he spoke toward me. So his name is Spike. Short and strong name, eh. I watched how he moved to face me as he sent out a friendly snort toward me. I tossed my cerebrum as I sent my snowy tassels into the air as they landed back upon my boa, looking like tiny rattle snakes striking at it. I let my own nares flare as I returned my own snort toward him. Then I began to let my words into the air once more toward him. I'm Sohalia. Its nice to meet you Spike. Please now, tell me about yourself. Her words were as friendly as she could get.
Could this be the brute that Ive been waiting for? It was to early to tell. But it wouldn't hurt to get to know each other anyway would it? I didn't see no harm in that.

My auditories fanned out from the side of my head as I watched her with growing interest, she had found me in the worst time possible and yet I had already grown fond of her being around. My thickened cleveland bay zenithe rose from the earth below to make my appearence seem even more frightening, I probably looked like a giraffe to little foals. I stood a towering seventeen-point-one hands high and was coloured a dark blood bay hue with a little white flecking here and there around my stifle.
As she had wished, I would tell a little about myself:
When I first took a deep breath and opening my eyes to face the world, at first I saw nothing but the vast open plains of my father's herdland. Mother was a few yards away, grazing contently on a patch of clover while keeping an ever watchful eye on me. Her name had been Stigmata, I had guessed, and she was a beautiful albino mare with gleaming crimson eyes. *chuckle* I often called her Ghostie.
The next thing I could remember was trying to stand on my wobbly, spindly legs. It took nearly fifteen tries to get it right, but finally an encouraging nudge from a palomino stallion had gotten me to my feet. Must've been Kraven, my father and lead of the Vexin herd. I - was a heir.
Barely a month into my life, a hungry pack of wolves had preyed on my mother, plucking her off the earth just like that. I had no food to rely on and was soon adopted by an akhal-teke mare named Adelina, in which you might find her at Taunting Marshes now. She played my mother for nearly a year before I was weaned and took control with my father to guide the herd to a new homeland.
I stopped for a moment to study her, before continuing:
Father had had many challengers for his land, but every one he sent a'runnin'. I'd kick back and watch him thinking I could learn some mad skills from him 'till the time came right for me to be driven away from all the friends I had ever made until it lead me here to Midnight Acres.

I watched how his cerebrum arose from the earth and into the air. He was somewhat taller than myself. I let a slight smirk while I listen in silent, not making a sound. Indeed he would be somewhat a horror sight for a light. I think they would most likely turn and run. But he didn't scare me at the least. I stood and listen.
After his story, I let my lanterns drift from him toward the earth, then back up toward him. His story was like my own. I let my voice lurk toward him in almost a whisper as I began to speak. Thats some pass. Thats good how you learned something from your father. But I didn't hear you speak of a land of your own. Do you have a land? She didn't see the harm in asking as she just wonder. Then she let her voice escape once more. Just asking....If you don't mind.
She found herself somewhat rude asking things like this. But there wasn't nothing she could say to stop her words now. I stood as I made eye contact with this brute as I waited for what he might have to say.

The better question is: do you?
I leaned towards her, pressing my forehead into hers and letting our forelocks to intertwine in the gentle breeze from the waterfall. I took a step forward, putting all my weight into my napage as I playfully pushed her backwards. I had no land, but that could change in one simple nip on her hindquarters, such an amazement how one little nip could equal a fair claim.
I pulled back and stepped away, standing fetlock-deep in the swirling water beneath my toes, dipping my head to whuff at it before it rose once more to face her, I just couldn't keep my eyes away.
I do not have land.

I let my sentinels lend forward as I heard the thing he asked me. Then I watched him step toward me then before I knew it we touched. I let out a slight smirk as I felt his weight that followed from behind him. My limbs began to move my snowy bodice back while he pushed me. Then before before I knew it. I could feel his touch, his body warmth was gone.
I let my lanterns look at him while I knew the acts were playful. I then looked down at the aqua that flowed under him. I dipped my cerebrum into the aqua and the water drops landed upon his bay pelt. After than I took a few steps back with a slight smirk. Then with a playful voice I spoke Two can play that game dear. Then I let silents follow and after than I began to speak once more. no, I did not have a home.Is this the brute I been looking for? Indeed I do like him, his the first that dared to touch me. Maybe it was. I wasn't sure. [blah no muse tonight]

spike ; ; lock up your daughters boys and girls - the dark night returns.
A chuckle was offered to her as a response as I thought for a moment, 'She could be queen! But, would she accept that offer?' Periwinkle gaze flicked towards her once more I began to feel a little bit more playful; spinning on my powerful hindquarters, I wheeled around to face her with a sweet smile before I proceeded to dance around her. I hadn't the chance to view her a little more closely, but I could tell she was a sweet and vibrant champagne colour with slightly darker tresses with some sort of a pony build, and yet she was still classified as a horse.
You'd like to tango with such a beast as me? My ears decieve me, Lady Sohalia.
Auditories flicked back out of sight while they had picked up a faint snap of a twig and a muttered, 'God damnit!' My first instinct was to run from any sort of danger, but this instince was overpowered by the simple desire to protect my prize I was after.
savage ; ; why so serious?
I looked down at the earth below me as my dainty hooves had stepped over a crisp branch and bunches of leaves to follow. My cover had been blown, so much for a stealthy suprise. A sigh ran through my velvetine as I stepped forward out of hiding to face this palomino brute and some sort of mare before I even dared let my vocals speak:
[/size] What luck it is to find such lovebirds, dear Spikey. Do I need to introduce myself to this thing you call Sohalia? I'm Savage, follower of ol' Shellforbrains over here.
I nodded towards the viridian demon who just simply shot me a glance to behave. Painted bodice stepped forward once more to touch muzzles with him briefly before I let my blue opticals land on the mare. Was she to join our little band?[/blockquote][/size]

My lanterns watches the brute while he danced around me. I studied the brute myself, from the way his tassels danced along with him to the smile upon his mug. I let out a playful snort while I heard his voice. I let my own words out toward him. Indeed I do sir. What are you going to do about it? My slender limbs began to move me as I began to dance toward the brute. I then stood before him while I let some more words out of my mouth, while I spoke with a flirtly voice. Come on big boy, show my what you got.
I was just about to jump forward toward him. But I heard a twig cracked under anthers weight. This sent me into defend mode. I spinned around, my lanterns narrow and wild, sentinels flat while I let my yellow stain fangs flash into the air. Then I seen it was only a youth. I let out a slight snort while I let my sentinels raise into the air while I caught the words she spoke. So what do we have here. Another youth without manners eh. I cracked my fangs into the air at her, for the simply fact I wasn't going to put up with her rudeness, this was her first and only warning she shall get from me. I let my voice toward her as I began to speak. Well Savage its nice to meet you dear.

The scent of mares was over whelming, but I knew it would be for after all I was in Zukura Brooke. My herd was gaining members fast, and my search for a queen was still on, there were a few mares that I had in mind but I wanted my choice to be a variety. So what better place to come then a claiming land? I stood in the cover of the trees, these lands where too light for me, even the woods where neutral esk and it made me want to puke. Which was rather funny considering I had neutrals in my terra but they were on the darker side and the woods was lighter. Raising my head to the sky I breathed in deeply separating the scents trying to find an interesting mare. There were a few aromas that made me want to know mare but there was one impaticular that intrigued me something that said that it would be a fine ride. So of course I was followed it through the shadows.
Coming to a halt my deep blue orbs scanned the atmosphere around me, me nostrils told me she was near and that she was not alone. I spotted her, and she was accompanied by two other equines and my blood became hot for one a stallion and the other a mare. But as I honed in on the three figures my excitement faulted the brute was no match for me sure he was a good hand bigger then I was but I could tell by his stance that he had no chance in hell at being as dark nor as great as I. But still it would be fun, and there was the other female, perhaps I could claim two today. Trotting forward I came to a halt between the two mares. My curse is Yarraman I am king of Taunting Marshes. What are your cursing. There was no point in dilly dandling it just wasn’t who I was. Small talk was a waste of time. My vocals where deep and demanding and my statement was directed more so towards the mares. Why would I care in knowing the calling of the brute? Oh that’s right I don’t.

Whats this another brute trying to gain mares for his herd. Mares wasn't something that you could collect. But some seem to think that way. I just didn't see the point. But then again I did. A stronger herd meant, more members for a good battle. A blood bath, the red poison shall drown into the earth.
I let my sentinels flicker as I heard another coming toward him. I turned my cerebrum toward the new comer. My eardrums catches the sound waves that floated toward them. The demanding tone he used. He held himself together with pride and this anyone could tell. He was proud was what he had made of himself. I let my voice lurk out toward him in some what a hiss. well Yarraman, I'm Sohalia. I rose my cerebrum higher with my sentinels lowers toward his graves. A slight smirk came across my ghostly mug as I became to spoke more. Down to the point are we?
I let my lanterns study the brute. He was somewhat shorter than Spike. His blood was pure of a Arabian, with a Smokey dapple tint that was neatly pattern upon his flesh. I wasn't claim by a brute, so I didn't see what it would hurt to explore more. I didn't see a problem with it.
I turn my lanterns back toward Spike, he seem to went mute and had nothing to say, him and the filly. That made me somewhat wonder. I turn my lanterns back toward Yarraman. I could feel the dark vibes rolling off him and rolling to every soul near him, even me. I let out a slight snort while I lifted up my front limb and slammed my talon hard upon the earth. My whipcord hit harshly upon my hinds to keep the blood suckers at bay while I waited for a reply.

savage ; ;And who do you think you are! We were here first, you know. Go.. find your own mare to pester.
The young paint mare laid her thorns back threateningly, lashing at her ivorns to get him to go away. If he thought being Mr. High-and-Mighty with her would work out, he had another thing coming. She stepped forward to whuff at him, prancing in place as she offered some type of challenge. Indeed Spike was here first with the mare, so he had no reason to intrude.
She tossed her dialage back over to the palomino brujo who had soon became as pissed as she was. His muscles were tensed and he was staring down the dark king as if he posed no threat to him. Subconciously, the paint turned her dome back towards the gray stallion with a snort.
Savage, state your reason for being here, king. And make it quick, I have things to do.

As I waited for their responses, I allowed my orbs to filter over each on of them now that I was at a closer distance. I started with the stallion. Once again I came to the conclusion that he was no threat. Sure he was much larger then my but the bigger they are the longer distance they have to fall. Plus he was young and even though he claimed to be a dark I was sure Riku could beat him in that department.
Next came the white mare she was most important in the group. Her pelt was pure but her orbs where anything but. She was a true dark and just that fact played in her favor. I locked my gaze with hers my dark blue orbs clashing with her icy ones it was perfect. We studied each other and then she seemed to pass me as acceptable for she replied with her catty tones. Well Sohalia I am not one for beating around the bush. Precious time is wasted with small talk. But of course there are the necessities. Such as the exchange of names. My tones where not as demanding but the where still edgy. I travled to the painted mare, her orbs where piercing. Clearly she hadn't taken a liking to me but what did I care? I simply laughed at her words. I know that I am more worthy of a component then the stallion here for I have my own herd, and homeland. I do not care if you where here first fool. For like they say they save the best for last. I paused and turned back to Sohaila she would fit in perfectly with my mares, and possibly be a contender for queen. I believe that you are the one pestering the mares. I merely provide them with protection and companionship. My last sentence was meant for the white fae for I was hoping she would be joining me on the path back to Taunting Marshes. It was true I had one of the most protected lands in Midnight Acres. Sure I was soon planing on radding Black Lake but I would prepare my herd first and any mare who didn't want to compete would not be forced to. Plus I was not attacking alone Chaos, the king of Hollow Woods would be with me as my allie. And I did provide my mares with companionship... sure I wasn't the most touchy equine hell I wasn't a fan of touch. But I did care for my mares and there well being and valued each of their opinions. When the painted wench snapped out at me I laid my harks back. Clearly this wench didn't know the rules of the mares lands, the mares who entered here could be approached by any stallion or stallions. My gaze followed her body as she pranced in front of my I lashed out at her hoping to grab on to her pelt. It wasn't hard enough to rip the skin but would apply enough pressure to draw here blood. She needed to know her place. We where equal, I had treated her with respected and I demanded the same. She needed to watch her step. Feeling the other brut's stare I turned to him and snorted now he was bellow me. I mean really how was I supposed to treat him as an equal. But yet again I treated all stallions this way the only one who I respected was Chaos for he had proved himself. I snorted at the palomino mutt letting him know his place. Savage I can;t believe my reason for being here isn't apparent. I mean after all this is the mare land. So what else would I be doing then claiming a mare? Really how stupid was she this was common sense. What would a stallion be doing in the mare land?

I watched the young painted mare, Savage. She pranced in place as if to challenge Yarraman. Tisk, Tisk, you silly girl. Indeed I was the more easy going type when it comes to this stuff, sit back and see what I can learn. The my icy lanterns moves to Spike, he seem somewhat tense with angry that rushed through his blood cells. Then my lanterns moves toward Yarraman while I was studying him. I notice him studying me as well. His navy lanterns seem to pierce right through me, like a needle entering skin. I let a smirk upon my ghostly mug as my lanterns drifted around.
I didn't spill no words into this world as I just stood in silent, listening and waiting. My sentinels lends forward, I heard the sound waves of the young minxes words, then Yarraman words began to lurk in this world. But I didn't hear Spike speak once again. Was he afraid of this older brute? I wasn't sure and didn't understand why he seem to went mute.
Well I guess that it was my turn to speak. Which this shall be fun. My words was somewhat cold in my normal dark tone toward Yarraman, while I began to let my sound waves lurk toward him. Indeed names are important in this world, I have to agree with you on that. Then I turn my lanterns to Savage while I replayed her words in my head. Find your own mare to pester. I began to spoke toward Savage this time, my words were somewhat more colder. You speak like I'm something that you collect. Then once more I replayed some more words in my brain cells. I merely provide them with protection and companionship I knew he was speaking toward the young painted minx, but then again I knew his words was somewhat meant for me. I began to speak once more toward Yarraman. Well thats nice, that you don't collect mares. My tone was somewhat in a cocky tone, pointed mostly pointed toward the young minx.
I let my lanterns drift toward Spike once more. He just stood there, letting Savage fight his battle for him. If I did go with him and we had created a home together would he just go mute and let me fight all the battles? I wasn't sure. I let my icy lanterns move to Yarraman while I let my icy lanterns meets his navy ones once more. I knew from this little time that he was really sure of himself and wasn't mind showing it. This I did like, someone standing up for themselves. Then my lanterns drift around while they hit all three souls that I stood near. I once more stood listening. I liked to know what was going on, the words that was traded from each soul, besides jumping and battling and drawing blood. I only did that when it came down to a real blood bath, then I don't think I just do what came natural to my dark soul. That was to cause blood and pain upon the other I was fighting with.
