Through the fire and flames
New mares always liked to explore their new homes, so of course, Navia was off, prehaps for a few days, i'd give her time to herself, to get used to her new surrounding, before she met my queen and our princess.
Snorting softly, two great twirls of air came hurtling through my nostrils, like a dragon. I chuckled to myself, and shifted from my sleeping place, my legs were a little stiff, at so much movement from the day before, but i stretched them out, drank, then went about my daily rountine.
Today, the skies were clear, it was good to see blue instead of grey musky clouds. My green eyes tinted with silver streaks as the sun rays hit them. And i suddenly realised that i had not yet called for Ava and Taya since my journey had come to an end. Bouncing into a paceyjog, i wandered the realm, but with no traces or scents close by, a mighty call was released for them and i slowed to a walk, dipping my head to lip up some fresh spring grass.

taya Koi wo shite owari wo tsuge, Chikau koto wa kore ga saigo no Heartbreak.
I didn't know that princess' were so sheltered. I lived the life of a lonely doll. Daddy was never home, Mommy never LEFT home, and had recently fallen ill- not that she'd let on. Newly found skills were able to scent out a new arrival in the land- another mare. So, it was another family member. I wasn't naturally jealous, but Daddy had been recruiting while Mommy was sick. But, that was against my nature to be angry like this, and before long, I was back to bouncing around on elegant limbs. The hot, arid winds blew in from Dekera Falls. It made my radars snap back against my crown, my normally exsquisite outline becoming rigid, like a wolves. If only I were like them. They didn't have a worry. did they? If I knew. If only. Since I didn't know what to say, I huffed out a hard, slow breath and kicked out with thin legs.
It wasn't long before emerald cursed orbs caught sight of an ebon figure. Obviously, it was my father. His musky odor carried over to my nares, and for a few seconds, I wanted to turn on my spotted stilts and run, far away. Maybe I could be adventurous, and go into a dark land. It's not like I'd heard any bad stories about them- no one had told me, which raised more concerns. I wasn't supposed to live a life like this. However, I had missed my chance to run, and I was almost certain that my father saw me, so I trudged closer. Radars perked forward, and I looked back behind me, and replied to his call with strangely sounding lyrics. I felt so proud; I sounded like royalty!
"Hello father. Nice of you to show up."
Pink lips closed tightly, and I raised my crown up, surprised that I was almost near my father's height, maybe a shade under his height. I tipped my crown to one side slightly, radars stirring, trying to block out the roar of the falls. I loved going there, but it had been too cold. Suddenly, I snatched my head back to my father, emerald for emerald, matching his stare. Limbs rustled through the knee high grass, thick tresses swinging as I circled around my father, and then rested my crown on his back, speaking with a relaxed voice, carrying out, the wind snatching my tired vocals.
"Why can't I go anywhere by myself, Daddy?"
ooc; I went ahead and skipped rping Ava. She'll appear when in a few posts.

m o n t è We carry on It wasn't long before the beautiful spotted figure of my daughter came into veiw. At first, she seemed hesitant to come to me, which worried me slightly, but as she continued her pace towards me, i pricked up my auds and quivered my nostrils, in a sweet greeting for my princess. As she spoke, i dipped my crown in shame. Her words, so powerful. Hello Taya, yes, it has been a while. I needed some time..to myself. Snorting as she rested her crown on my back, her touch was warm and welcoming. What do you mean, Taya? Your old enough now, you can venture out, but be warned. Most places away from here are not safe my dearest. I knew the day would come, i knew she was an adventurer. I just wish i spent more time with her, whislt she was in her most important days. Now, they were gone, and my baby daughter was beginning to grow up. I raised my crow na little, and arched my neck in a tremendous streach, my chin almost touching my chest, i extended my neck and shook my body, feeling strange around my daughter, she was almost a stranger to me now. iglanced upward, towards the clear blue sky, then to my surroundings, Ava had yet to arrive, and as the time passed, with just me and Taya, the more uneasy i became, waiting for my lover. ew [/sup]
