Rebel wandered the land for what seemed like days to her. In fact it was only a matter of minutes. She was getting restless in her quest to find another being.I wonder where everyone is.She whispered quietly to herself, keeping her head up high just in case she stumbled upon anyone. Her pace stayed at a slow walk as she noticed the snow was melting and the creek near here was starting to thaw.Feeling quite curious her legs carried her quickly toward the creek and she dipped her velvet muzzle into the refreshing water taking a deep drink.Suddenly, she heard a noise and she wasnt quite sure what it was. Her ears quickly flew back, and her head shot up into the air. Quietly she stood, scanning the surrounding area.

R I K U
...Omoidaseba, haruka haruka.
"Come little Riku, just come here and let me help you." No Xehanort. I don't need your help. I don't need you in my life anymore. But, still... Why couldn't I get rid of him? It was like he was intertwined within my heart. Even if he was still here, yelling at me, and trying to find his way into my mind, I knew that I would eventually win it. Sora and Kairi- the others too- were on my side, and that was important. As long as I had them, as long as they backed me up, I'd have the light with me. I had that ounce of strength, that I could only have when they were with me, so I needed to do this for them. Make them proud? Yes, I need to make them proud, but I need to make myself proud too, and by doing this, I was.
I recently had taken refuge to a colt called Serpent. Not even a weanling, I had planned this out well, besides the fact that I had no way to give him the nutrients that he really needed. Great job Riku, way to speak before you think. But wait, I did think, just not this particular part. Anyhow, I was rambling off subject. Lakita made me a dare- a promise, you could say. She thought that Serpent would die or she would be with him soon. Please, that just added the fuel to my little spark. This was ridiculous, how some of these horses acted. Your own flesh and blood, passed up for something far less superior. Hmm, and to think, Xehanort was like that. No, he was smarter, but he did the worst things with his intelligence.
I was moving while I thought. I wandered- what is it with me and wandering? No matter the reason, I moved slowly, my blue-green tinted eyes glittered with a curiousity as I walked along the tuf. I'd been near here a day ago, picking up Serpent. Picking up, ha, it sounded like everything was a job. Some were a job, some things weren't, oh well. My breath was exhaled heavily as my legs hit a hard spot in the turf. It made me stumble, and I finally concentrated on the area around me. I could hear the water flowing before I could see it. It surprised me, a little. Wait, no kidding Riku. Dekera Falls, it was pretty obvious that there would be water. Just a moment where I didn't think, I suppose.
I could see a lone female, standing by the water front. She could hear me approaching. I didn't mean to be heard, and I didn't mean to interrupt her thoughts. I didn't smile, I didn't do much, but approach, and slow down by her inky black frame. I snorted slowly, my breath exhaling, then inhaling. I stood there for a few moments, silent and relaxed, until my voice began to emit from me. My voice, that lovely feature, carried out, forming the words I wanted to speak.
"Hello."

Slowly, Rebel's head turned toward the other horse. Hello she murmured in reply. She wasnt quite sure what to think of this whole situation. Dipping her velvet mug back into the water for another drink she thought quietly. What does he want? Within an instant she had snapped out of her daze and lifted her head. Water drained down her mug, and landed on the ground. She stared into his eyes for a short moment and then spoke ever so softly What is this place?
Sinking into deep thought again, her eyes wandered as she stood ever so still. She began thinking of her parents and her siblings. What were they doing right now at this very moment? Would she ever see them again? These were questions she knew that no one could possibly answer. But why not make the best of what is around her. Instead of wishing she had something that didnt want her, a family. It was better to have friends, than nothing at all. Well that was the way she figured it. She also knew not to get so attatched to anyone here. At any moment she could be named the outcast and banned from these lands as well. So she decided she would keep herself guarded.
