Relaxed upon the forbidding terrain, in knowing no harm would come to this mare as long as she remained in the tall grass. Eyes remain in a glance in all directions, taking in the signs that may guide her to and from the atmospheric hazes. Lips reach out, and pull a few blades of grass, just enough to satisfy taste, she wasn't exactly hungry. The alertness of the mare had caught up with her, as the sound of rustling brush escaped through the sunlit path, and pierced into auds that were erect waiting for the sound initially. Soft eyes raise as pillars stretch to allow the mare to stand on her hooves tall and strong. Wariness written on her expression, hopes of no damage would come to her, at least not at this time. A canid creature? Perhaps? That of a wolf will find themselves in the deepest of troubles when they find that I am not as unknowing as it can come to be. I expect there to be something coming my way. Such a sound is not created by that of wind, or even rain.
Of course, Angel's bodice did not become far overwhelmed as she again resumed her relaxed state, though not laying back in the comforting grasses. She was unafraid but not stupid. Another resident will find themselves flourishing here, and as I know that I have trespassed onto an unknown valley, it's best that I do not reside myself. For finding the king of this harmonious land probably would do me no good. She had no idea that she was in fact on a more shared land. She'd never heard of the wolves of Midnight Acres, and knew nothing of their lands, and their regulations of how each land was sanctioned off. She had the slightest feeling though, that she knew their hatred, their desire. Each one of the equine who became forms on this terrain were that of broken dreams, and wasted lifestyles. Angel wasn't sure she was ready to face any of the formers yet.
Or maybe she could consider herself lucky. She hadn't seen anyone around as of yet, and it would probably be well decided that she was not upon claimed terrain at all. Slow steps begin to guide her across the plains, deep breaths taking in the most lovely of scents in the atmosphere. The breath was released by a deep sigh, calm and gentle, showing only relaxation and content. It was then that her light orbs took in the sight of the waterfall. She nearly smiled, but her expression remained still and calm, gaze tilting up to view the sun, as she knew it was quickly falling. I will see what this land looks like beneath the utter moonlight. I would put my bets that it is just as beautiful, if not more, than the sun beating and shimmering the waves.

Arian fixed his orbs of onyx past the trees and shrubs of the land. Dekera Falls. The air was moist with the humidity of the flawless cascade roaring to the side. The gray stallion's coat was moist as well. He spotted her, a perfectly relaxed fae enjoying the wonderful time of spring and the matchless place of Dekera Falls. Arian trotted onward, to her.
Greetings, lady. I am Arian, lord of Lilac Woods. Might I know your title? inquired the strong-built Polish Arab. He admired the way the mare was calm and yet careful, a contrast to some, although something took for granted by others.

She had become so entranced by the sights around her, her head tilting slightly as it swung in different directions, taking in the most of the terrains. A curiosity flooded her veins. Usually, by this time there were others around her. Others that seemed to always want to converse with her. But she'd went for quite some time without seeing or hearing another except for in the farther distances. But of course, it hadn't taken her long to figure out that there was someone coming near. One ear flicked back while the other erect, waiting to see the creature that happened upon her on this warm day.
Against her whitened coat, she saw little difference in the colors of this stallion who came forth and immediately began inquisition. She wasn't prepared to over-heed him at this point, she hadn't really been prepared to enable the visitations of others at all, since she'd been alone most of the time. Though he took her interest, with his white mane and tail that seemed to remain breezily in the winds that passed through their surroundings. The thickness of the allegiance she had to guess it right off hand. Thus one of a neutral. He is neither shy nor empowering. Simply there.
What else took her interest. That of an Arabian. She'd seen many of his breed when she was surrounded by the human village, though she'd never actually met up with one. She was never the stereotypical type of equine, though she'd been told some strange stories about the Arabian breed. Are they really one of the most well formed equine of the world? Of course her curiosity was there, but she did not let it show in the orbs of soft nature.
Even though she left him in silence for several moments, she had registered his quarry quite well. She knew that she could answer, or she could simply walk away, as she'd done millions of other times before. Though something forced her to relax even more as she let the warning slide off of her expression letting him know that she was trusting, but not as easily brought to speech. The politeness of his vocals and manner seemed to only make her feel more comfortable, though she did not step forward.
A nod of her crania finally dipped as she knew it was only in respects for her to respond. But her voice was just higher than a whisper. "Sir, my calling is that of Angel. And title, I have none." She waited patiently. She knew that he would do one of two things. Respond, or walk away. The same as any other of the equine nature would do, the steed had been lucky she did not find it more suiting to simply walk off, such a disrespect would not follow her, as she made clear.
{{Oo, thank you very much. I work hard on each post :) Good to see that someone else likes them as much as I do.}}

The gray noticed that her vocals were only barely higher than a whisper. It's a pleasure to meet you, Angel. he declared, trying honestly hard not to sound like he ruled the world. Only darks were supposed to act like that. Arian's efforts paid off and he said it in an un-darkish way.
Hmm, maybe I'm going to be magnetic to mostly grays, he thought. Arian had one mare of the same sheen of coat as Angel. But this one was different. Of course all of them were different, but Angel was calm, not frightened. Cinder had been afraid. Arian'd proved to her that he wouldn't harm her. He wondered if she wanted him to prove something.
Would you like to come and live with me, at Lilac Woods?

Angel, of course, was not caught off guard by the other, even his actions. She did not fear him, nor shown any form of desire to step backwards in distrust. Though something about his comments lead her to think something was strange. Was he too trusting? Of both sides of the coin? She was that of light, and she knew his alliance resided with none. Had he known that? What had he known? Nothing of her, she'd presumed. And Angel really knew nothing of him. Though not in a manner of distrust, she watched him closely, again letting the terrain linger with only the sounds of the blowing winds. Gaze lifted slightly to view the sun again, as she knew it would not be long before she would need to find shelter from the bitter night.
Such a kind soldier, though I am concerned about his behalf. A darkened soul would surely accept such a valiant offer, and a noble one at that. But a dark alliance would possibly turn and attempt destruction upon this steed and his homeland. Was he ready for a treacherous fight? What am I thinking. Of course not. He obviously judges quite well.
Angel let her thoughts surround her for a moment before finally turning to face the waterfalls directly, which in turn, formed Arian at her side. She watched as the falls tampered the bottom of the drop, knowing that sharp rock would decline anyone from stepping inside of the wet surface. Crown lowered as she looked into the depths, drawing closer to the waters before gracefully taking a few drinks, then raising her head again, looking back at Arian. She hadn't yet answered his question, nor did she intend to at this time.
A relaxation swept over her bodice as she stood still, one ear flicked back, almost as if she were curious about what he would do, when she remained silent. How persistent was he? Would he think that he'd gone unheard? Would he simply become bored and walk away? Or would curiosity eat him alive and leave him strangled long enough to venture out and speak more amongst the silence? The curiosity that Angel felt alone was enough to greet this bit of inquiry.

Arian shifted his weight to his right legs. After his vocals he had heard nothing but silence. He wasn't sure what to think. Was it that Angel didn't like him? Or had she simply not heard? The questions plagued his mind. If she did not like him, why? And she must have heard.
Would you like to come with me, miss? he repeated. Arian had managed to that get out of his mind and into his mouth. Perhaps, Angel was testing him. Was that it? Did she need proof of something? Or would you like me to prove to you something? he quickly queried. Arian was dying of curiousity. He could and would prove anything the mare wanted him to.

The desire was finally unbearable as Angel let a smile form upon her expression. She hadn't expected him to really stick around after she'd stepped away. Again, he made himself clearer to her. Again the inquiry. It was fine, Angel saw no real harm in him asking again, she probably did make it quite confusing to anyone who did not know her. Maybe it was time that this beast got to know who she was, and what she stood for. Pillars swung delicately towards the stallion and stopped just a couple of feet away. Her voice again just above a whisper. "It is wonderful to offer such a position, Sir. And to prove something to me? I do understand that you do not need my approval for your terrain, Sir. To prove yourself worthy, or anything, it's only a foolish equine's strategy. Only the true at heart, who believe they have nothing more to prove than the next leader..."
Her silence continued again, as she looked at the waterfalls, wondering if there was a way inside, since it seemed something lie behind the waters. But her voice spoke again, vocals vibrating generously. "There is nothing to prove Sir. And there never will be. I do not follow the strongest, nor the most charming. My following will be with the one who finds themselves wise enough to take an understanding in the creatures that lie before it."
She in no way denied him, nor did she accept him. She also had no intentions of cruelty, and it was evident in the way she smiled in his direction. And soon a tiny giggle escaped. "And...You may have realized, but getting to know me, Sir, is not the easiest of tasks."

A tide of elation swept over him as Arian knew he'd won. The smile on Angel's face was there to tell him that. He listened to her wonderful lyrics, telling him it would a wonderful thing to come with him. It was wonderful for him too. Arian had a new companion. It was difficult for him to understand her physiology, but Angel was with him, and that was what mattered. He would have plenty of time to figure that. The fae giggled and said exactly what was on his mind. That's just what I was thinking, m'love. Now let's go home. Arian stroked the neck of his new-found prize.

It was to Angel's quick amazement that the assumption was made. She'd lead him in the wrong direction, hadn't she? She'd listened to his words, knowing that they were full of happiness, but maybe he'd taken the wrong idea? As he stepped forward to stroke her, she had to step backwards. Not in fear, but in a more turn-away. A deep sigh escaped her, and a serious expression remained upon her facade. "Please Sir. I am not sure you understand. Home. This is my home. I am a free soul. I do not normally follow the commands and alliances of others." Her crania dropped. "In no way am I against you, Sir. But I cannot follow one without knowing them."
She stepped to the side and looked at the waterfalls again. "I have never been one to be guided blindly, and there's no promises or guarantees that would protect me from the blindness that one often guides me with." She looked back at him. "Mistakes have been made before Sir. I'm certain it comes to your understanding." She looked away, feeling quite horrible that she had to turn him down so quickly without chance, but had she agreed to go to his home, she had no idea what she'd find there. Other mares who would fight for the dominance among her? Possibly the threat of another stallion? The thought that maybe once she'd committed herself, she couldn't turn back? She sighed, wondering where her true home was, now that she'd wandered for so long.

As Arian listened to her lyrics, something swept him clear down. Now he knew she would not be coming with him. It was odd how his emotions instantly changed. Arian wavered a little where he stood. Suddenly, he wanted to go. To go, before anything else happened. He had never felt this way before. He shook his head a little and murmured, Well then. It was your choice. I offered you a home, and you rejected it. Arian disliked it when he said that, but he had no choice. The gray Polish Arab trotted back home. He looked back once, curious to see if at the last moment Angel'd change her mind and follow. And then kept on.

Angel sighed as he turned to leave with only words of anger. Shaking her head her legs folded so she laid down in the grasses. Of course he didn't understand. No one ever understood. Her gaze looked up at the now trespassing starlight, she could see only one. There were reasons. And maybe I shouldn't care. He obviously did not. Crown turned as her vision peered towards the waterfalls again, and an ear flicked slightly, as if curious if behind those falls she would find a bit more of a peaceful landing next to the cold that was coming her way.
Pillars stretch one final time and she began walking towards the waters, and it wasn't much to her surprise what she saw, the mouth of a cave. Though as she stepped a hoof towards the entrance, it slipped and she stumbled backwards in a startled gesture. Well, obviously, that's not going to be happening any time soon. Would be insane anyway. Looking into the distance, she saw that Arian had indeed gone, and again she was alone.

The night was almost over as the heavens began to show the signs of day coming as it began to change the colors, pink, blue, red and orange painted the sky with grace. The darkness would soon be filled with light as the sun beams would dance across the land. The morning was filled with sounds as the birds and the other small souls came out to enjoy the morning.
I was new to this land as I wonder what was the best that I could make of it. I didn't even have a herd yet. I wanted to find someone that might come along with me for a ride. But I wasn't like other brutes. I didn't want a big herd with loads of mares. I wanted a small family. I didn't see why most brute label there mares as herds. But the only thing was to do is live one day at a time and takes whats comes.
I moved into the land as my limbs carries my bodice in a soft canter. My nostrils flares as I took in scents of others. I moved closer as I could just see a loner. The other must have left. My sentinels lends forward as I try to catch any sounds that might be made. I moved forward as showed myself to her and the world. My canter slowed to a walk as I stopped a few feet from her. I let my words escape into the air as I spoke, I'm Noel, my I know your title dear? My words were soft with ease as I awaited for her voice to tackle my eardrums.
I let my lanterns move of her to the sunrising above the land and then back to the mare that I stood before and I let my hazel lanterns study her with ease as I had a slight smile upon my mug. Maybe she would give me her name. Then maybe not. But I will find out soon.

The night was not sleepless where she laid, she simply remained just outside of the waterfall, a bit chilled from the night's air, but well relaxed. Her crown lifted, from the dew dropped grasses and turned in a few directions, wondering if any others were about, or even if that other stallion had returned. To her knowledge, and to her visions, she assumed not, as he did not stand there before her any longer. All she could think now was Oh well. It was not depressing news to her too much now, even if she may have hurt the feelings of another, she had to think about her behalf before one who simply had desire. And as she thought more clearly on the situation, she was able to let her emotions come to a stand still, at least for the time being.
At this point, the evening before she had not tasted much of any meal, and her stomach was starting to sound like a predator just waiting to claim it's final desperate needs. As hooves tap the ground ever so slightly, her neck bends for a short drink at the rivers that follow just after the waterfall, then shift and her nibbles chewed at the dew-covered delicacies. She had been lost in thought and could barely hear anything around her, or it simply would not register in her mind if some sounds had come to her, until they drew closer...
The sound of cantering hooves, soft prints that mark the terrain as they speed along the surface. The white mare lifted her ears, pointing them towards the origin of the sound. It didn't take long of course for her to see the darker colored coat cantering towards her. One ear slipped back, as if to take in other sounds of the terrain, wondering if there were others around that he could have been making his way towards. But as he stopped and stood just feet away from her, and spoke the same words she'd heard just the evening before.
Her eyes stared for a moment, almost as if she were in confusion. Was she in the wrong place? Of course, at this point, she was really in no mood to speak, so the necessity simply was not there. But she did lighten her expression and offered a smile to the stallion, as her head turned back to face the waters. They were quite lovely, and at the time, she remained curious as to how this stallion would react to her not speaking, it was rare that one took it lightly, though she was use to the over-reactions, so she had actually readied herself to listen to the stallion repeat his every comment.

My sentinels flickers as I listen to the world around me and for the words of the other. But none was made. I watched how she flashed a smile toward me. But it seemed like she was forced by a demon as it showed upon her mug. Then how she looked at the aqua that had ripples in it from the fish eating the spiders that walked upon the water. I let my lanterns lurk toward the aqua as I watched as well. But then I let my lanterns move back toward the snow white mare.
I knew now that she wasn't going to give me her name. That was fine by me. If she wanted me to know she would tell me in her own time and when she was really. I wasn't a pushing brute, like most others I knew. But then again I wasn't perfect either.
I began to move my limbs as they brought me back a few steps as if to give her the space that she needed. Then my sentinels hear a noise as it sounded like a angry wolf growling over its food. I then knew it was her stomach. I let my voice released toward her once more, Would you like to get something to eat dear? I know a good place where there is alot of food. My offer was friendly and simple. It was fine by me whatever she would choose.

She hadn't heard the repetition of his vocals for a bit of time, and it was almost under her curiosity that she stepped forward carelessly closer to the waters, almost to where if she drew any more near, her hooves would probably be taken out from under her. Of course, there was no fear that lie in her eyes as she moved moved, a relaxed outlook overriding any prior feelings she may have had. There were no worries that she had to deal with, at least for now. But there was something she had to think about. There was another stallion here, trying to encourage her to speak to him, and yet she played a more silent tone.
Had she heard this stallion correctly. The sounds of the waterfalls were trying to lock out her hearing anyway, and she thought she'd caught the vocals offering a meal. She didn't wish to look at him in confusion, though there was no other way to look, she simply couldn't help herself. There is always food everywhere. Just below our hooves. Absentmindedly she let a hoof scrape across the earth's surface, as if playing in the grasses gently. At this point, she knew she'd have to say something, in some way. Though she hoped that this one would not be as self-centered as the other stallion whom crossed, and instantly take offense to her words.
Her voice was nothing much higher than a whisper, though quite audible she was certain. "This waterfall, it is lovely. And the lands beneath us, always offering such plentiful meals." She looked away again. What was the harm in my stay? I obviously had not trespassed on forbidden terrain, but possibly have mistaken the meaning of this beautified area? She let a sigh escape her lungs, though this time, it was not a sigh of sorrow, nor a sigh of happiness. It was simple, and just a way to break her own silence, and she decided, this stallion seemed kind enough. Perhaps...?
"Angel, Sir." Was all she said.
