Just one day you stayed out 'till morning, You and your girls were laughin' away.
It felt good to stretch my legs again, after a year of solitude in one's unsteady mind. The relief that I received from an formal agreement with Riku that I could come to the outside world away from Black Lake was a pretty smooth deal. Besides, with Jaliya gone, and her being the number one target to my tireless work, it was quiet at Black Lake. A delighted smirk creased the corners of my facade as I imagined my one day of bringing my research to a head. After all, studying the same subjects wouldn't help my research of the heart. Inhaling a deep, dry breath, I waited a few seconds before exhaling, slightly amused that I had been complacent enough to stride toward the Battle Grounds. It was a strange decision, because as far as I remembered, there was only one battle here. "Xehanort, stop the teasing." I apologize Riku, that was un-called for, although, I simply can't help it. "It's still not necessary you ass."
Amber eyes glinted with a greedy feeling; I could actually move out and feel the earth again. Surprisingly, it was quite pleasant, the way that the Spring breeze glided through my tattered tresses. The air was silent, and it was chilled, an odd feeling for being near the middle of the season, but the winter was harsh. That may explain the cold texture, and why underneath my dark limbs, a mixture of sand and melting snow grotesquely sloshed around.. And still, I enjoyed this. Most of it anyway. "So, why did you come here, of all places for your day of freedom? Why not Dekera Falls?" I had to wonder the same thing. I was drawn to this place, the lingering scents of older equine still around. Most of those that I could smell were long gone. They must've been passing by, obviously because there wasn't a single carcass, its rancid odor carrying to my nares.
Overall, it was pretty soothing, dark limbs carrying out a smooth canter. My facade was relaxed, a puzzled concentration appearance spreading over me. Tresses swung with an easy nature, so rhythmic, that I forgot about Riku in the back of my mind; there wasn't much to listen to anyway, Riku was pretty quiet, although he did mention something about Sophie. As if on cue, nares picked up the faint scent of Sophie. It must've been a while back, but the odors were clear; there was obviously someone with her, someone with a mixed blood. The reply inside my rather vocal thoughts was distraught for no reason. Riku was also raving, and I couldn't see why. "Why would she do that?" Again, I had to ask him what she did. "Of course, she has to go and have a foal, settle down, that hypocrite!" Er, Riku.. Don't you think this is a bad time? I mean, it is ill-fated, but on the one day I get to use myself? Can't it wait? A self-indulgent smirk crossed my lips when I heard the grumbling of my double identity in the back of my mind, so proud was I that I had caused a battle within myself.
Once I traveled further into the strangely quiet Battle Grounds, the scent of Sophie returned- and so did the bickering of my colleague. I tried to tune it out, amber eyes flashing with a spurt of anger. Of course, I probably could have gone to Dekera Falls- at least I wouldn't have suffered the endless bantering. Instead of leaving, I looked around with a curious feeling, and then raised my dished crown skyward, slender limbs rising with the force of my body moving up. Strained vocal chords screamed out for Sophie, the one who Riku couldn't stop blatantly complaining about. This had to be solved, because if I didn't enjoy my one day, there would be hell to pay. Landing abruptly from my half rear, I jerked my darkened muzzle in one direction and began to wait, the mood turning sour.

Together we made it
My face was a constant scowl. Eyes narrowed, limiting my vision, but also showing my only daughter, Cocaine; that i was not best pleased. For six months, she had not returned home, and at last, she had left her scent wafting around the youngsters clan. There, i had found her, alongside a few others, who claimed to be her followers when i asked who they were. followers? My little madam had alot of explaining to do when she got home. Slowing from my pacey trot to a swaying walk as the pain in my right hind leg worsened, i clenched my teeth, tightening my jaw as the sudden change of rythem in my muscles caused the wound to tear back open. Grunting slightly, i tried to ignore the pain, but to no avail. The swaying walk grounded to a slow halt, close to a few high rocks. Extended my neck, i rested my head on the face and snorted, and flicked my tail arrogently as the filly attempted to drink. Don't you think your a little old to be drinking milk I warned. My temper still hot, but it softened towards her as the obvious sorry could be seen in her eyes. After all, i had her to thank, didn't I? she had been the one who stated that we would be home sooner if we cut through the battlegrounds.
I coughed, this area was dusty, little snow was around, and the cold clear air had brought sand particles from coco bay, worsening the area. I sighed, and backed up moving forward to walk it on, some now dried cromson blood cracked at the movement, and more seeped out through my gaping leg. However, i stopped suddenly, a faint call could be heard, and the wind carired a scent with it. THat of Riku, the one and only. My harks pricked forward, but then twitched backward. What was he doing here? Something made me curious. I glanced back at my daughter, and gave her a warning sign Stay here. Don't move a muscle, and i'l come back for you. Repeating my words at a stern hiss as she scowled, not happy with being told what to do. Snorting, and ignoring the pain, i leapt forward to a pacey jog towards the call. Releasing one back, to answer him.
Slowing, i took in a big gulp of air, i guess i hoped it would take away the wound the wolf had given me. Snorting as i approched Rik- Exhanort. It was Exhanort, with those amber tinted eyes and the cunning sly grin. What was he doing here?

How long did you play with your club-friend chicks? Acting like some kind of pre-madonna to my face.
Time ticked on with a mindless pace, making me feel even more on edge- and more pissed that I had to do this for Riku. However, it's not like I could refuse- Riku was half of me after all. Refusing this would probably pit us against each other, again. But Sophie was the reason why we were against each other in Midnight Acres, right? She did turn Jaliya against Riku, and that was the root of the problem, right? Aside from taking over Riku's clouded mind and making sure that he did what I said, we had no problem. A bitter laugh ran through my throat, and the corners of my lifted into a benign grin. Harmless, really. Even though my mind raced with that cursed Riku, I still imagined my near-future plans, when Sophie arrived. What could I do to her, now that Riku didn't care? All the while I heard the young masculine figure muttering something about Sophie. His shocked nature had left, and now he seemed utterly sure of himself that she was a monster. But of course, I knew that all along. Didn't I tell you? You certainly can't doubt someone like myself.
"Who else would she have gone with?" Well, Riku.. See, she didn't like you, and you didn't like her... Did you? "Be quiet!" Caustic glances were thrown around the perimeter to make sure that no one saw the supreme talking to himself, then I resumed. This kept up for a few minutes, until my nares flared up, catching the scent of blood. It made my adrenaline pump in a natural reaction. Blinking, I raised my crown to further test the air, and then erupted in unstoppable laughter. Of course, it was Sophie's blood. Either she'd been hurt, or she'd gotten into a fight. Malicious thoughts spread into my mind, pushing the bickering Riku out for a few solemn moments, and then I made up my mind. Promptly stepping forward, I started to the direction where the scents were coming from. Radars snapped back against my crown in an annoyed gesture, but I eventually found myself with my dished crown lowered to scent the air around me, radars pricked forward to catch any sounds.
I heard a faint reply to my kingly call. It was obviously Sophie's, the sound of her arrogant voice ringing inside my cluttered mind. Blinking back an obvious smirk, I threw a caustic look in the direct that her call came from. Limbs extended to cover the slushy ground, and I broke into a smooth canter, continuing at this brisk pace until I saw Sophie. Amber eyes took in her bay frame, slightly different from the last times I saw her- but I couldn't say why. Instead of slowing down, I stretched my neck out and elevated my pace further. Raising my crown suddenly, I shot Sophie an annoyed glance, only sliding to a stop when I was a mere few yards away. Arching my crown to add to my already eloquent nature, I tipped my crown to one side and glared at the bay bitch with hard eyes. Radars remained forward, and I side-stepped closer to Sophie, brushing her russet sides in a near teasing manner, but, of course, I don't tease.
"Sophie.. You're ruining my day of solitude."
"What are YOU doing?!" Well, I tease Riku, and that was about it. I replied casually to her silent question, my throat rumbling with those careless lyrics. I looked at her, annoyed, and then swallowed, stomping a forelimb into the ruined turf. Amber orbs dropped, and I traced circles in the slush footing, moving to started to loop around Sophie, giving her testy nips, just to see her response. I knew that I'd probably get one. Nares flared out silently, trying to locate the point of her injury, trying to see how it would benefit me. Shifting my weight, I suddenly released an angry squeal and savagely kicked out at the arrogant bay figure with an intent to hurt her. If only Riku knew what I wanted to do. See, my bad side was out. This bitch was ruining everything for me. I could either keep her for myself and have her carry my spawn- although, from how Sophie looked, it was evident that she'd foaled recently. So, that left me with the option of letting her go, toying with her, or killing her. Guess what I was going to choose?

Shut your eyes
My pillars carried me forward, to where the call of Xehanort came from. My harks were swivelled backwards, yet, i was still alert. My mind focused back to where i had left Cocaine, back at the rocks, would she behave and stay put? I doughted it. But it could be fatal if this monster ahead of me spotted her. My eyes narrowed in annoyance, i would kill him if he touched her. A low grunt escaped my kissers as once again, i extended my hind leg too far, resulting in fresh crimson to spil over my carcass. I swung my head, but stopped dead, as the familiar figure of Xehanort came thundering into veiw.
He didn't appear to slow, however, i stood my ground; kept still, but mainly because of the raging pain that seared through my leg, all this time, my jaw was tight, clenched, my teeth grinding against eachother. As he spoke, i blinked, his tone was discusting, so proud, almost like a gentleman, but we both knew it was fake. As he began to circle me, i kept my eyes straight forward, however, when he brushed my side, a high pitched squeal was released and i sidestepped away fromhim Don't touch me, fool I hissed, licking my lipos free of crimson that had stained them, from where i had nursed my wound.
As he continued his prowling, i grunted, trying to block out the pain, the occasional nip was placed on me, and each time, i threw my hindquarters into the air, in a small buck, to rid his touch. My face was a constant scowl, and my thoughts kept flashing back to the youngster hidden behind the rocks, waiting for me to return for her and take her home.
It seemed, Xehanort wanted a perfect day, as he always did, when dear Riku let him take control. As he kicked out at me, i reared, so the attack avoided my face, his hooves clashing with my chest with a great thump. Again, i hissed at him, rearing again, and striking the air three times with my right foreleg. Then returning to the slushy ground underfoot. Xehanort, why did you call for me. I asked, with that elegant yet pastey tone still lingering in my voice. I snorted, and stood infront of him, my chocolate eyes clahing with the amber.
[o.o.c;;sorry, thats really bad =(]

X E H A N O R T
Faking and lying about everything to me, Expect me to believe nothing happened.
Amber pools remained locked on Sophie's bay stature. I gritted my pearly teeth together in annoyance, and then reached out, clacking them together near her frame- obviously exerting dominance. Radars flicked forward curiously, and my sour mood was over with, quickly as that, as I continued to circle the dark bay female. I studied her face for her different reactions, and suppressed a chuckle when nares widened, catching the scent of fresh blood. It made my mind swirl, and it even made Riku question my authority. "Uh, Xeha? What are you doing?" Silence Riku, silence. You'll see. I'm just getting rid of her. She'll be fine. Who knows? Once she's gone and decayed, then she'll probably be able to watch over you. After all, I know you love her. "What?!" I winced slowly, Riku's shrill voice giving me a pounding headache. I snapped at him, silencing him for the time being. It felt great to be in control again.
Amber orbs opened, and I threw a caustic glance in Sophie's direction when she snapped back at me, her lyrics floating out in a haphazard attempt. I snorted, and looked at her with a devious innocence, as if to say, "Who, me?" and then I snapped at her again, my pearly teeth reaching, clawing for her throat. My neck stiffened on taut shoulders, and I paused by Sophie's flanks, almost prancing, forefeet lifting off the ground in excitement. I continued prancing, then launched off my forelegs, swinging my hind legs back at Sophie's hip in a rather nasty attack. Radars remained pricked forward, and after the kick, I pranced forward, raising my tresses, as if celebrating this victory, until I started to speak. After all, I did care about Riku, and he.. Uh, this was hard.
"Sophie.. This wasn't anything that Riku wanted. Understand that."
Such a change that I made, from attacking her, to almost asking for her forgiveness. I took a deep breath, stopped the prancing, jittering movements and then started forward, looking at Sophie out of the corner of my eye, before continuing, trying my hardest to explain this for poor Riku.
"This is all my fault. Xehanort. Understand? Riku really loves you, like one of his own mares. But, I can't have that; you're messing these things up. Just, please understand, Riku doesn't want this. Torment him when your dead."
My voice was slightly ragged when I spoke, slightly monotone, until my sarcastic self ended the statement, under my breath. I just wish that Sophie would have had time to nod, or smile (which I doubt she could) just so it wouldn't make me feel guilty. But, this was for her own good. In a way. Still, Sophie looked like she'd been in foal. What about that? I was almost having doubts, and I sighed quietly, then snapped my radars back, thinking of Ansem. That burned under me, the way he refused my plans, my thoughts- it infuriated me, and so I charged forward, ramming Sophie with my broad chest, squealing with rage. It was a gutteral call, and I soon backed up, forelegs scrabbling against the dusty grounds, challenging Sophie - a challenge she would no doubt lose.
ooc; oh so yucky. i'm sorry. >.<

Let it b u r n.
I watched the brute circle me. This was nothing new. Only he, Xehanort would get away with this, for he was powerful. More so than me, and i knew it, i had to watch my actions, but this was hard. As he circled me, i grew tense, jaw tightening, teeth clenching together. My harks swivelled around to follow him, but i stood still, waiting for his prowl to end. As he reached for my neck, i snorted sharply and sidestepped away from him, I didn't want him touching me, i was weak, the attack from the wolves had grown upon me and i was now tired, i couldn't do this, i needed to get Cocaine home, in safe hands.
His amber orbs flashed open, i blinked, they too, were so powerful, locking onto my deep choclate coloured eyes, i held the gaze as he pranced by my side. Harks began twisting backwards at his actions, still, muscles flinched under my bloodstained pelt. His attack was sharp, it stunned me, as hard bone clashed with my right hip, close to my wound, i let out a high pitched shreik, my leg collapsing at the hard impact, but somehow, i stayed up. Eyes grew wide with anger, i was scared, but i wouldn't let him see this. I would stay strong. As he spoke, my neck extended slightly, i was so curious about his words, his sorry words. What was all this?
And then he spoke. I remained quiet, taking it all in. I still didn't fully understand. Riku loves you, I snorted in discust at these words, just that one time. Back at Knifes edge. That special moment we shared, that was love? Love had caused this? I hated love now. I wanted to scream, I wanted Riku, i wanted him standing infront of me so i could attack him. Nares flared once again, a raspy noise escaping them Xehanort, you weren't al lthere, that time, at Knifes Edge. That was a special moment between me and him, a moment that didn't envolve you. Riku forgot about you then, i was the center of attention. And your threatening to kill me, because your precious darling Riku cares for someone more than yourself? My words were bold. They didn't show i was upset and scared, i couldn't show that, my daughter, at one year old, was going to loose her mother. When i still had so much to teach her. This wasn't fair. Nothing ever was.
Again, he was so quick with his movements, charging forward at me, catching my shoulder with his breast bone. The noise was sickening, my ivories flashed. I was in no fit state to fight this brute, but i didn't see the option of backing out. Harks pinned back into my black mane, and i copied his pawing action in the ground, dust spraying us both. I lowered my skull slightly, and waited.
