constantine Why do we have to be here, this place gives me the creeps. What had spoken to this createn had been a shadowy figure she had come to name as Rayne, better known as her bright outlook of things. Rayne wasn't particularly noticable, being of the ghosts that haunted this place the arabian had decided to tread. Oh, shut your fuckin' mouth Rayne. ivorites clicked together in a warning towards the figure who simply shied away from her with a frightened snort. No need to get all snappy, Constantine. . Rayne whimpered lightly, tucking her tail between her hocks and disappearing back into the dimented mind of the arabic stock mare.
With a shake of her dome and a fanning of her banner, the ghastly mare stepped lightly over a carcass without so much as a glance at it before continuing her trek through this place that felt like home. Let's just get out of here, please Constantine! inside her brain Rayne had screamed at her, causing her form to side-step to dull the pain that had throbbed at her temples with her own little scream of discomfort. What did I tell you, keep your damn mouth shut!
Tears began to roll out of the ghosties opticals as a sob racked through her holographic form before she spoke once more, I'm sorry! she cried softly before going silent, Constantine could tell that she had been conversating with herself it seemed. Now the stallion's would think she was a total idiot! With another shake of her dome, she lurched forward into a trot, ignoring the snaps the bones made underneath her hooves as she tred the darkness. Oh this would be a fun night. Come out, come out, wherever you are!

{ J A L I Y A Once graceful pillars carried me towards the dusted graveyard – I didn’t quite feel like returning to Riku just yet as I knew what his reaction would be to my current state. Even though I had spent a full day at the waterfalls the blood on my coat didn’t seem to come off – was it going to leave a permanent mark? I wrinkled my nose in distaste at the thought of it. You’d think that my biggest problem was the huge wounds that ran across my bodice – wounds that would soon turn into scars and remind me of my battle with the proud king yarraman; but they didn’t – the pain had become a part of me and right now I didn’t think I could live without it. The battle had caused me to limp on my right foreleg and somewhere I knew that the limp would probably stay there forever, but who cared? I was feeling cool and frisky today – and no one would stop me! I crossed the border to the graveyard with a smile on my bloodied lips, would there be any corpses here today?
I raised my crown and took a deep whiff; only to lower it in disappointment as I sensed none. Red cranium jerked to the right as a familiar voice reached my sensitive auds. Mom? I frowned – was I hearing the ghosts of the past? My mother had been killed by other equines when I was young, so how was it possible she was here? Curiosity took hold of me as I moved closer to the voice – and soon I was standing face to face with my dam. “Mother?” I questioned the shaky silhouette with a calm tone – I didn’t actually believe in she was here, in my book this was a simple hallucination caused by my wounds and the pain. Yep, that seemed like the only reasonable explanation. What if it’s her? I let out a terrified shriek as the voice that had resided in my head long ago returned. Did you miss me sweety? Oh boy. No doubt about it now, it was a dream – yep a dream! A nightmare, something!
I halfly expected my dead filly to appear in front of me and yell boo or something – what dead filly? You have two my dear – or have you forgotten poor einjeru already? The daughter your beloved Riku didn’t save. I clenched my jaw tightly as I stared at the older mare in front of me, I would have to face my fears – and ignore the nightmares, yep! It would all be over soon. Ah, your mother has always been so pretty – I wonder if she remembers me? I bet she does, we used to talk me and her you see. I snorted in humor – my mother hadn’t been insane, she had been a strong and smart warrior, one you didn’t want to cross; I had been the insane one. You’ll see, you’ll see – Oh Rayne, can you hear me sweetheart? ‘He’ shouted out inside me head – making me want to flatten my auds and run away from the terrible sound.
ooc: haha, I had to bring him in seeing as constantine had one in her head too; jaja arrived with him screaming in her head

CONSTANTINE YOU SUCK, END OF STORY. The thoughts had raced through her head, almost too fast for her to grasp upon. Was. . this Jaliya. . her daughter? Eyebrows furrowed and the once pure, full-of-life sea blue opticals narrowed to slits as her crania had stared down this thing that had called her mom. Jaliya? tones were wary and unwelcoming, she wouldn't just rush into things like, "Oh, I missed you baby! Where have you been?" No. She'd be straight to the point to narrow things down of how it was possible her daughter could recongnize her after all these years that she had been gone. Her dome shook to try and pick out if this had been a ghost of her long-lost daughter, but no, she was real. She knew, only because of the little light mare inside her brain named Rayne. The pale mare floated out the tips of her auditories, only she was only noticable by her host Constantine. Who called my name??
Constantine slashed her fangs towards the ghost in an attempt to force her back into her hiding place, but she only stepped away and stood, auditories curiously erect atop her refined dish. Could this be the end of her searching? It could've been. So you remember me, no? Long time no see. I thank your father for driving me out of the herd and leaving me to the wolves. she spat angrily, expanding her nares and once again narrowing her eyes. She didn't look like the person she'd been in the herd, no, she was extremely skinny and was dotted with scars. She was a wreck, but the warrior inside her had not died.

JALIYA
Pale lips opened and closed like a fish outside water, was this really my once beautiful mother? Hazel eyes turned pained as I took in her poor condition – but was mine any better? I was battered and bloodied and she was a mere shell of her former self; a perfect reunion! I stepped forward as her lyrics called out my name and I felt my orbs spark slightly at the joy of seeing her again. I was about to speak – but snapped my mouth shut as lyrics flew out of the mare’s mouth and I felt my anger rising; my dad had kicked her out? All the words about her dying, her warriors death – all a lie? I clenched my jaw tightly as I reached out and let my foreleg scratch along the moist ground. “He told me you died – that you were killed by wolves and he was too late to save you” I answered the angry female in a slightly desperate tone. Now now, don’t be a crybaby, she’s back! Constantine is back! Now let’s see if that pussy to Chaos can beat us! He roared out in my head making me cringe at the sheer volume of it. However soon his interest was removed from me – and instead he was talking to someone else? A frown crawled on my features as I listened to his words. Don’t you remember me Rayne? Your own brother? How pathetic. He screeched out and I immediately flattened my auds at his shrill voice. Let Constantine know that I missed her – ask her if she’s ready to take the throne! I wasn´t listening to his words anymore – he was way too excited for my taste and instead I took the opportunity to stare directly at my dam. “Will you stay? You must meet my mate, mother – he doesn’t share my beliefs but it’s alright.” I paused for a few seconds. “You must meet your grandson too” I let out in a hesitant voice. Why don´t you tell her about your failure with the fillies eh? That your sweet babies died? That your mate died? Haha. I stomped my foreleg in the ground – and watched as a cloud of dust rose. Enough! I yelled mentally at him. Silence followed.

CONSTANTINE FOOL! The mare's eyebrows furrowed angrily as she could do nothing but to stare down her offspring, motioning towards Rayne who had long been engrossed on seeing her brother again. Kraven!! she screamed, noting the black mare's auditories slick back into her tressels and her deepened gray opticals closing then abruptly snapping open. Your father was a fool! she roared furiously, fangs snapping together in an attempt to rid herself of the horrid memory. He knew I was too powerful for the herd, so he drove me out! He was nothing without me, and soon enough the herd members had turned on him.
But before she could go any further, the sound of mate and grandson smacked her square in the face. Shut your mouth, Kraven! Constantine snapped rudely, stomping the ground beneath her with a raised forehoof. She turned her attention back to her kin with a slight relaxed tone in her voice. Take me to this place you live, I'd like to meet everyone.
