S e r p e n tI crave revenge, it makes me crazy, driving me insane knowing that I will never satisfy my hunger for her blood and I will never gorged myself in his blood for making her abandoning me, leaving me to die all lone. There is a disturbance in my head, voices scream at me night and day to take my revenge “Take It! Kill them! Satisfy me!” this continues to intrigue me, this drives me to success… of enforcing this long awaited hunger that twists my stomach giving me a sick felling in the darkest deepest part of my guts. My Body, which the darkness of midnight has color as a self painting, moved with a dark evilish yet light angel like grace. My mind was once pure and unhateful but now I am so messed up that sometimes I cannot tell what is real and what my imagasion is only just playing tricks on my eyes. My two worlds are twisted into one big living hell that won’t seem to end no matter how hard I try to end it all. My black hooves hit the frozen ground hard as my seven hundred plus body was effectively carried across the obviously dying land. Thinking back to a long time ago the only good things in my life where Riku and Jaliya, my adopted mother and father. My tail was held high like a dark banner waving high in the air. My dark muscles rippled powerfully under my black as night pelt. Dark and hateful eyes scanned across the frozen landscape as I held my dark body in a pose of high self pride. My ears where pricked forward and my nostrils flared wide breathing in ice cold air that burned my lungs and dried my throat. I might be a hateful and cold hearted mules but I was all alone in this world and no matter whom you are and no matter what side you take no one should have to live there life alone, I wanted companionship… someone whom is not a back stabbing wrench… I want my “partner – in – crime” and I did not want to have to wait any longer. My black colored body and my powerful muscles came to a quick and powerful halt next to a small drinking hole. I lowered my huge head and drank the icy water which sent a very sharp burn down my throat and into my stomach. It was painful but it also felt good at the same time. The sudden crack of frozen grass made me stop drinking and rise my black oracles as the sound rang through my ears, my black eyes scanned the ground, ears flicking back and forth listening for more sounds. “…You can’t take me. I’m free.” Winter, of course it just had to be winter. Snow coated the ground in its usual thin layer of ice. Making each step crunch under the form’s weight. No home, and no body, left this mare to wander about talking to herself. Yes, she had reverted to talking to herself to keep some ounce of sanity in her head. But then again if one was truly sane would they be talking and auguring with themselves? Tazanna’s mind wondered over that thought for a moment. Her forward motion stopped as well, I guess thinking and walking at the same time got harder in the colder weather. Finally the vixen shook her head causing those annoying thinkings from her mind.
She was a stark contrast compared to the white work around her. A black mark upon the pure and pristine landscape. That’s usually what she was, just a mark, and unwanted speck in a perfect world. Well to be honest she did not give a damn. Again the mare picked up her pace to a slow trot. The well muscled Friesian she was made navigating through the snow all the easier. But again her speed slowed to a walk as her black pools focused upon another dark figure.
“So I’m not the only one wandering around in this winter wonderland.” the feminine thought to herself. A small smirk curled the edges of an ebony maw. Thorns were perked towards the other equine, cupping the wind to catch any noise that might come from them. shadowy banner dusted along the top of the frozen perspiration, only adding to the tracks that trailed behind her. if one were to follow them, they would note that the hoof-prints seemed to lead nowhere. For that is where she has been. Wondering around in circles, twisting and re-tracing itself. One would think she was mad, or lost.
The closer the wench got to the animal the more she was able to learn about them. first of all the wind carried with it the scent of a brute. Well seeing as there was no other creature in sight he had to be what she smelt. That and she noticed that his pelt was as black as hers. Ebony must have been a popular color for foals here recently. Actually that was not a problem with her, it gave them something in common. One thing she could not figure out was just how he would act towards her.
Without a second thought on that matter the fem’s ears snapped back against her poll. No one was going to surprise her. No matter how cute or innocent he may or may not be. Muscles bunched and prepared for what might come. “Well I see that only the wretched wonder lost in the snow.” Her voice carried with it a hint of teasing to it. Poking fun at the both of them for being out in this weather.

S e r p e n tWhen I turned my huge black head I seen a mare painted just as black as me. Great a smart ass just what I need right now I thought to myself. This mare was just as big as I was and her head was huge compare to mine. Her long wavy mane made her dark figure look stunning. Her well shaped body and powerful muscles made her look like a dangerous foe to have if on her bad notes. One Step at a time I turned my midnight body toward hers facing her head to head.
“I guess not uh?..” I spoke my deep voice sent obvious signals that I sided with the dark ones among this twisted and unfair world, and by the looks of it this mare was light angel, most likely there was not even a chance that she sided with the lighted angels cot in the worlds trap of mixed alliances.
“State your Name, Mare.” I waited with my black body standing deathly still for her answer “I mean Seeming as you are willing to start up a conversion I must know whom it is I am speaking with. Unless talking with the unknown it perfectly fine with you .” I could not help myself but to allow a grin over take my ebony maw as I returned her smart ass remark. I wonder whom this mare might be. She better not be an offspring of Chaos or a grand offspring of his. I have too many half siblings to take the chance of running into them and not know it until it is to late I thought to myself as I still awaited this mare’s answer.
“It is Serpent.” I stated as she asked me to state my name even before she answered my demand of her stating her name. Most equines would know me Riku and Jaliya’s son but I wasn’t really their son but I was a part of Chaos’s heard Not my blood but by my real dam’s choice and I also have like three half blood siblings from Chaos and I did not want to run into any of them at all. And still after long minutes went by a stand here still waiting for this mare’s answer. WORD COUNT: 376

“…You can’t take me. I’m free.”
She came to a stop at least 8 feet from him. The female’s shoulder blades rolled in an odd fashion, shrugging at his statement. Talking to someone you did not know was not so bad. And names did not matter. Did they? What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Still it was rude to deny someone the obligation of knowing another. “If you must know. I was gifted with the name Tazanna, or Taz for short.” her calling was translated as ‘princess’. During some points in her life, she had hated the name even threatened to change it. But as the years went by she learned to like it, still she was far from being a princess.
It was then that she noticed that he was an Arabian. It was hard not to know due to his slightly dished façade. Truth be told, Taz never really understood how and equine could live with such a thing. She enjoyed her straight and strong face. But still to look at the breed on the bigger picture, they were elegant, agile, strong, and over all gorgeous. This brute was no exception to that rule.
Boa lifted slightly more so into the air, causing her forelock to spilt away from her orbs. Black deep pools stared out at him. “Serpent, such an interesting name.” her lyrics were smooth and graceful, but held a shady tone. She had not heard of him. then again the ebony mare had not heard or seen many of the residents of this realm. That’s what happens when you wander in from another nation. So far she had managed to keep out of trouble, staying out of sight and out of mind. Observing those she had managed to run into and calculating who was not to be trifled with.
Wet feathers clung to her dark hooves. Everything was cold and wet. Damn the snow, and damn this weather. Though it was pretty to look at, the entire world cocooned in a white mass. Deprived of life and frozen in momentary bliss. The fae longed for the tender heat of Spring. Her cranium bobbed once, a mischievous grin pulling at the corners of her muzzle. “So my dark companion. I’m guessing that something is up. Or else you wouldn’t be mopping around in the cold. But then again it’s not really any of my business.”
Of course he could always tell her to buzz off, and it would not be so hard for her to fade back into the shadows of the world. But it was much more fun to sit here and bug another, than wander back into her odd thoughts. Sometimes the depths of her mind scared even her.

S e r p e n t The ebony body of the mare stood at least eight to nine feet away was she scared to come closer I thought to myself. My long legs stood still but they felt numb from the cold, it felt at least ten degrees if not colder and by the way the sky looked it looked as if it was going to snow some more and get even colder. At night the air went well below zero degrees and I froze every single night standing or laying in the freezing snow and a few rain showers. Riku Had not had room to allow me to stay until spring rejoiced itself and there was so much drama with the young ones. I was not much for kids and most likely I will never be either.
Some of my muscles twitched rubbing up and down against themselves as the cold froze the skin and my midnight pelt. “So you do have a name. That is interesting…” my smart assness made me laugh slightly at myself but it was a silent laugh. Watching her bob her head some I crossed a minding smirk upon my black maw. I listened to her smoothing voice say that my name was interesting. why was my name so interesting? I questioned myself maybe she knew me, but then again I doubt it because it has been almost four years since I left but now I am back but I am not sure about how long I would stay here…
“You are right it is none of your business but since you asked and there is a crap load of time to kill I guess I could tell you… but on one condition… ” I paused my smirking maw rolled the words off my tongue in a teasing sneaky way “Take a walk with me and I’ll tell you my whole story even though it is not much of a story, You seem like you are interested in it because you asked about it… ” I paused again looking at with blank black eyes “So want do you say, Tananna?” I turned my body away from her but still had my neck turned around facing her “you coming along?”

Ripples of shivers coursed just beneath her skin. The wind seemed to pick up, only heightened by the promise of another storm. “Great just great.” She thought. Misery echoed throughout her mind, more cold days and even colder nights. Her coat was already plumed out and fluffier that its spring sheen. It made her look like a baby chick that was nothing but fluff. “Of course I have a name.” the mare stated wrinkling her nose at the statement. The ebony filly knew he was being smart. I mean, hello, it was writing all over his voice.
The only reason she showed interest in his name was because of its meaning. Serpent was another word for snake. It was odd that someone would name their colt after the animal that almost all horses despised. But again, why did it matter. It was his name, and apparently he enjoyed owning the title.
Black thorns pinned back against her scalp at his seemingly harsh tone. She should be use to all darker creatures using their smart ass remarks to talk to another instead of a somewhat normal conversation. Taz too was guilty of doing such a thing. However practice makes perfect and her sarcasm defiantly needed practice. He soon asked her to walk with him and her twin pillars twisted back up right.
A sigh passed through her slightly parted lips, as pillars pick themselves up out of the snow and followed after him. She had no problem walking along. It gave her something to do, and the chance to use muscle friction to warm her limbs. “Not every story has to be wrought with peril and action. For even the simplest of ones are important.” She stated in a matter-of-fact tone. The vixen’s pace quickened enough so that her bodice caught up with his, then the forward motion slowed back down.
