AKELA
the younger of the two was just a filly, not even a year old but still old enough to be weaned and out on her own. unlike her sister she had been painted over with the deepest shade of bay ever to be seen, but it also gave her coat an unnatural sheen to it. her legs, nose, and tresses had been splashed black and waving against her swaying form. but don't let dashing good looks fool you, oh no. she had the personality of a murderer. elusive, inwards, brooding. but those things didn't worry the fleabitten that walked just a few steps ahead. she, on the other hand, had the striking appearance of a thoroughbred but had the build of the andalusian and mustang thrown together. silken coat was a light cloud-gray with little black flecks littering her shoulder, flank, and rump while her nose and legs were burned to a crisp charchoal. and she had been blind in her left eye, you could tell by the open wound that ran through it, she would be blind. that would train her to be ever vigilante over her little sister, since the little vix would seize the chance behind her back if she could. either that or be plotting some way to kill her.
the little filly stopped abruptly with a loud snort coming from her tear-drop shaped nares, elongated ears sidled out and back from view before she began to stomp at the ground with her little talons. such rarcket caushed the bloody mare to stop and look over her shoulder at her sister, jaw tightened and brown eyes flaring with her mood. "come on, akela, god damn. you're so slow." she hissed, shaking her tassles from her wounds before wandering off a few steps. behind the filly could only stare at the rump of the fleabitten, shocked that she had said such a word as 'damn.' a devilish sneer crossed her face before the words, "shut up, anastasia, you old fart," fluttered past her lips. raising her head a few inches and widening her eyes she growled to herself, keeping the inner stasia to herself before wandering off a few steps more, calling over her shoulder again, "hurry up, or the wolves will get ya."[/ul]
