Where was my sister? I wondered, we had made plans to ditch our parents and do something wildly spontaneous but she had yet to show herself. I grinned, my eyes crinkling at the sides. What I had in mind for our future adventure would most likely anger both our P-rents into grounding us till the end of time. It made me exuberant though to think about what could happen. My ears shot forward again, listening to anything that would hint to my sisters entrance. There were two possibilities for there being no noise. The first was that Calvadas had learned how to stalk among the forest floor in complete silence, or that our P-rents had found her and had stolen her time. I gnawed at my bottom lip, worried because there was only so much time in a day and the two of us had to finish talking about our plan and then get on our way.

I am gonna get cha.... As the morning began to turn into afternoon I knew that I was running late. Eden had told me to meet her near the entrance and I had gotten and early start but of course with my luck I ran into daddy. I hoped that I hadn't given anything away. He had asked where I was going and if i had seen my sister and I had done my best to lie but the truth was I was an awful liyer with out the support of my sibling. Heck I needed her to survive.
My sleek gray pelt reflected the rays of the sun. It was hot out and all I wanted was to find Eden and get away from the heat. As I neared the entrance to Silent Woods my sisters scent became stronger. I went to call for her, but then an idea popped into my head I would sneak up on her. I laughed silly to myself but then stopped. Shoot, I needed to be quite and here I was already making noise. Moving forward at a slow walk I made sure I placed my pillars carefully. But since I was watching the floor I didn't know where I was going and when I did it was to late to change dierction.
I stumbled back slightly as I walked into a long black thing. What the? Shoot. I quickly realized what the 'thing' was. Raising my boa I began to laugh. I had walked right into Eden. So much for me surprising her.

Eden I Kiss You Fool. My eyes lit in warmth as my sister stumbled out of the woods and right into me. It was obvious from her facial features that she had been trying to sneak up on me. “Calva, you little goof what were you thinking by trying to scare me?” Although we were only a few days apart I was the one who took control because Calvadas just didn’t have it in her to be dominant. “and why are you so late?” It was already two hours past he time I hade wanted to start our little expedition. My eyes swung from side to side, Calva was not the most subtle of horses and had most likely left a trail that would be easily followed. “Did Ma or Da follow you?” I whispered still a little sketched out.

Carpe Diem :: adventure?!?!;; My harks folded forward as I weaved around the tree's, listening to the sound of my own calm breathing off of the bark, catching the difference between open air and something in my way. My thoughts wandered as I coasted along at my ground-eating stride, amazingly I didn't step onto any twigs, but I did manage to trip over some rocks. Stumbling forward I caught myself before I landed into a briar bush, the only thing that stopped me from a very painful landing was running head long into a tree. Reeling back I licked at my muzzle, the scratches burning as my saliva dripped into the open wounds.
Scolding myself mentally I weaved again, picking my way much more carefully now, reaching forward with each foot and making sure to place the hind leg into the front legs spot, and eventually it paid off when I made my way into a clearing, one thing about being blind, you couldn't get lost if that's all you ever were. A pleased expression flashed across my face, then dropped when I heard femine voices ahead, whispering quietly. Did Ma or Dad fallow you? Was the only part of the conversation I heard, but by the voice and tone, I could tell it was the dominent of the two, it even made me pause and inhale deeper, making sure I didn't stumble upon horses that were older than me. I couldn't quite tell, but I knew the one that spoke was around my age, but the second, I didn't know...I couldn't tell. The unknown gnawed at me and I froze soild, my sightless gaze roveing the grounds, as if I was looking for something.

Eden Practice For Escaping. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up, something was watching my sister and me. Surly there could not be a preditore in Silent Woods, father would have killed it by now. My heart beat still accelerated though, I feared for myself but more so for my younger sister. “Shh don’t speak.” I needed the clearing to be totally silent so that I could listen for what was watching us. Not another sound was made but an itchy feeling came from my right side. Suddenly I let out a fearce scream and burst forward into the darkness that surrounded what ever stalked us. As I bursted into the bush line the scent of horse filled my nostrils, I didn’t know the owner of the scent so I continued forward. The smell belonged to a colt, who was not much older then me. It put my heart to ease that it was not a preditore nor was it a stallion that was at war with my father. I attacked the colt, my teeth barred and hooves flying. He would not get me or my sister. I would make sure that this stranger regretted ever walking into Silent Woods.

Carpe Diem :: adventure?!?!;; The wind suddenly shifted and I couldn't understand why, but then I did. A pained gasp escaped me as I bowled sideways when the filly charged towards me, making my flight reaction take over. The only reason for the pain I felt was because of how my legs had gotten tangled up and sent me flying sideways, but as soon as I found my feet again, it was no use. I couldn't sort out the scents that were rolling off her in waves, and so I decided the only thing I could do was to get further out into open ground and then go toe to toe with her.
I gave a low bellow before my the muscles in my haunches tightened and I pushed off, leaping who knows where, but all I knew it that when I landed, I clipped a hoof on a rock, but the pain did register yet, so I tore out of the woods and into the open ground where the scents were clean and the air would take older scents away from me and give me better register on the filly, if she decide to leap at me, which, I was sorta hoping she wouldn't, Zarian would slay me if I accidently hurt one of his herd.

Eden Practice For Escaping. I was ashamed when none of my attacks met with flesh, was I really that horrible at trying to kill someone? Suddenly the colt bolted off into the clearing that I had just come from. The clearing that my sister was in. I pushed forward, my legs stretching to there full length. The beast would not escape me that easily. I realized too late that I had over bound my strides, with a clashing force I crashed right into the muscled frame of the stranger. Hey at least it would be an attack that actually hit him. With the last thought still fresh in my mind I straitened myself. “Who are you.” I asked it accusingly, my voice deep. Actually my voice sounded funny that way and I had to suppress a childish giggle. Shaking my body, I glared at the colt, but it was not a full forced one because my eyes will still alight with laugher. "And what are you doing on my lands?"
Wow I felt the bottom of my jaw slacken, the unknown horse that stood in front of me was like candie for the eye. I scowled not liking the way my body was drawn to this being. “You have no right!” I shifted my backside so that I was more alighned with my sister. I would always be there to protect her.

Carpe Diem :: gentle now;; I stumbled again as she launched herself into me, falling onto my knees, but righting myself soon after, wiping around and inhaling to find the center of her scent in whole, my muzzle tilted upwards to help with this task. Finding it I tensed again, ready to push forward, but I was taken aback as she questioned me in a voice much to deep for a female of her age. A chuckle escaped me without any attempt at stopping it and I flicked my tail across my varnish coloured body, opening my maw to answer her politly. I am Carpe Diem, part of Zarian's harem, a warrior if you would like. I gave a small smile before continuing one and turning my bright gaze on her. And you are? I questioned gently, extending my muzzle around to lick at a scrape on my shoulder before looking back to her, my ears coming up and most of the tenseness leaving me as I waited for her reaction, weither it be fight or not.

Eden Practice For Escaping. My eyes widened in indignation as the stallion chuckled at me. "You are laughing at me!" How dare he! I was ready to pounce for another attack when he spoke again. "So daddy caught you too?" I grumbled my nose cringing slightly in a scowl. "He is way too over baring for my likings. And that is why I plan to leave." Oops, I hadn't meant to let that slip. But Carpe Diem was an easy one to talk to, which was strange because I had known him for like two seconds. "Don't tell anyone though. Because if you did then father would surly find out and insanity would become my new best friend." I knew there was something more out there in the world, my whole being desired something more then what I had now. And you are? Well now didn't he just sound all haughty taughty. "Well kind sir I am Eden first borne of Zarian and Heiress to his Kingdom of Silent Woods." I made sure my voice was nasal and had the lilt of my fathers accent. "And I demand you bow down before me and kiss the ground beneath my hooves." I stomped one of my dark colored leg to playfully punctuate my command. "And don't you dare defy me for I will have you wiped!" My sister most likely thought I was crazed but I was entertaining myself. Sobering up a little I take a step closer to Carpe Diem. "As you can tell I am already a wee bit insane. Silent Woods can only hold so much entertainment." I stuck out my tongue at him, a playful kiddish gesture that always made my sister giggle.

Carpe Diem :: gentle now;; The wind shifted again, bringing her scent full into my face, the only thing I had to judge her by, other than her words and tone of voice, and if I had to put a mark on her so far. I'd say she could be my greatest friend, or my worse enemy, just like a habit. Well Princess Eden. It is a pleasure to meet you. I drolled in a southern accent - which I had outgrown many months ago - tipping my poll to her. If I had a hat and hands, I would of tipped it to her instead, like the gentleman I was taught to be. I flashed her a toothy grin before closing my maw to just a slit and inhaling again, tasting her scent this time, it was just as good as she smelled, exactly like tangy spring grass with a hint of sherbet sweetness.
Feeling her take a step towards me I bumped our foreheads together, very gently, taking in account that she might of bumped her head into something in are earlier scrimmage. I whuffled lightly at her, making a low humming noise before redrawing my head and giving my tail a flick across my varnish stained haunches. I took a step back, bringing my gaze to her, a sudden thought running through my head, she probably thought my stare creepy, I wasn't looking at her, but more threw her.
