Xhexic Over and Over and Over Again. The night sky was scattered with dusts of stars, the white lights flickered against the moving waves of the ocean making them come to life. A dark moon hung heavily over head, its shadow a calming presence within her shinning children. My multi colored legs strode evenly over the sanded beach even though every step sucked my hooves down into its cool mouth. Little mounds of snow clutch to the shore line and sparkled dully within the light of the night, it gave an ether real look to the land. High rising mountains rose over my head, ancient secrets hiding within there depths. My long speckled neck dipped elegantly up then down with my slow paced movement, the entire length of me was filled with muscle. I was a mare yes but my life had not been an easy one, I'd had to live on my own for two years. The hairless scars that melded within my light frame hinted to my past. Being kicked out of a band was not easy on anyone but with me it had been especially hard. My strange coloring and glass like eyes had made other rogues wary when they saw me, and my uninterested attitude seemed to deter them even more. I couldn't help it though, nothing seemed to pull out a true feeling from me. Suddenly I stopped my multi colored legs to stair out at the roving sea, it was so beautiful that it made me almost able to feel something. [/color]

Strong, ebony limbs struck out ahead of Abacuss as he galloped across the sandy beach. The calls of the sea gulls mutely echoed out across the bay into Abacuss' attentive ears. With nostrils flared the stallion inhaled deep gulps of the salty air, its stench no longer stinging his nasal passages. It had been noticed by the stallion that he was alone on the beach and it was quite disheartening to him. He normally was accompanied by many equines in his new herd in Sunset Meadows. He was the General of Sunset Meadows and it was definitely a privileged position for him. He enjoyed the attention he got from Rage and the others that served below him. But he had yet to find a mate or any female that really wanted to be with him, and Rage was the one getting all the estrogen he could breathe in. It made Abacuss, at most, jealous and envious. But he made no comment to his lord. He was just lucky enough he hadn't been kicked from this wonderful herd. Abacuss knew Rage was suspicious of him and his former queen Asthela probably having an affair of some sort. It was untrue, of course. But Rage did have a right to his opinions, so Abacuss remained silent.
Flicking his ears to and fro the stud peered out across the open stretch of beach where the ocean lapped up against the sand in silver waves. Abacuss adored the sight that was set before him. He wished yet that he had a spot like this in Sunset Meadows where he could go to and rest peacefully and watch as the waves came crawling up the beach before then heading back to the sea. Slowing down now, Abacuss came to a halt near some fallen fronds of leaves that had evidently fallen from a nearby palm tree. Lowering his nostrils down to its tickling ends he inhaled the scent that radiated from the verdure. There was no other equine scent that accompanied the perfume of moisture and evergreen life that had once flowed through the veins of the frond. Sighing, he lifted his head and looked out across a pathway that led up into the more hilly regions of the bay. Perhaps he should head up there to see if any mares might be hiding amongst the more thicker brush.
Before he could come to a conclusion to his debating wish to go further or to stay at the beach, he watched as a spotted torso of a equine danced out from the palms and moved onto the beach. Lifting his nose to the wind he gently inhaled the aroma of a mare. Wonderful. Smiling happily he trod quickly to a spot near the mare. Standing about twelve meters from her he softly spoke. "Hello," -- he paused for a moment as his eyes looked over her frame -- "I'm Abacuss, General of Sunset Meadows, and you are?" He stated calmly and with clear pronunciation. Rage would definitely enjoy having this mare among the herd. She was gorgeous, and the spots on her pelt would encouragingly give any foals she gave birth to a range of colors and dots upon their pelt as well. But why was he thinking so much about foals lately? He knew he shouldn't try to think about things such as that. Abacuss had seriously hurt his young brother when he had been a foal, so there was a great chance that Abacuss would hurt any foal that he beared as an heir. He didn't want to hurt any more foals. No, it hurt him bad enough to know that he had greatly dishonored his sire by hurting one of his brother's. And that had been the reason of his being banished from his sire's herd. Oh how badly he wished he could go back in time to change what he had done...
Somberly returning his interest upon the multi-colored fatale he felt that his smile had left his facade and he quickly restored it. Perhaps it would be a bit more comforting to the damsel if he looked at least a little happier, wouldn't it?

Xhexic Over and Over and Over Again. My ears perked, twitching slightly, it was the only movement that gave away the fact that I knew someone ells had joined me on this patch of secluded sand. By the wreak of the scent that grew stronger the being who had found me was male. I suppressed a shudder, males were a cruel lot ruled only by the things between their legs. It surprised me though when the stag stopped a respectable distance away from me, what actually had my head turning was his deep but soft tone. Well miracles do happen, a stallion of testosterone ruled ego could be polite. Then my whole body stiffened as holes were burned into my skin as his depthless black eyes roamed daringly over my speckled form. I wasn't pretty, that was something that my father had made sure I understood. My face was masculine, with a long nose and wide nostrils, when I had been younger it had helped me run from the ones who had tried to inflict pain on me, so I never regretted my head. My legs were long, but muscled as well, they needed to be having had lived without protection for years. And don't get me started about the coloring of my pelt, it was a mess of shades of brown and stark white. My eyes were shocking as well, while my right eye was a light blue that was almost clear my left eye was half the clear blue and half jet black. My father could barely look my in the eye. I was an oddity, so much more different then the stallion who stood across from me. He was all one solid color, and he was hard and lean where he was supposed to be. "I'm Abacuss, General of Sunset Meadows, and you are?" Apparently he was undeterred by my strange markings because Abacuss continued in his deep timbre. Still staring at him with my neck turned slightly and my behind aimed right at him I answered. "I am Xhexic a rogue of no where." I didn't have anything fancy to be called by, it didn't matter though I didn't need to impress this one. We would soon part ways any how, never to see one another again. I let my features slacken, giving him a bored look.

Looking upon the damsel with a quiet interest, Abacuss smiled appreciatively when she then spoke her name. Xhexic. Definitely an exotic name. Abacuss wondered where she had come from, at least, before she had been in Midnight Acres. Perhaps he could ask her later, now it seemed the timing for such a question was inadequate. Plus, it seemed too personal and intimate to be asked when he had just met her. "Well, Xhexic, it is a pleasure to meet you." Abacuss said truthfully. Flicking his ebony tail about his muscled hindquarters the stallion took a few steps out of the way of her own hind-end. He preferred to not get kicked. But she didn't seem all that irritated by him, or spiteful of his appearance, so purhaps she wouldn't yet have decided to harm him. At least until he said something wrong. Which would, most likely, happen soon. He always screwed things up.
Taking in a fresh breath of the salty air he then spoke out, his voice gently passing through the air waves. "Are you here alone?" he said curiously. What would a beautiful girl like this be doing here alone? She surely must have some other stag with her. Somewhere. Turning his head left and right he scanned the landscape. No one. Hmph. Replacing his gaze upon Xhexic's facade he released a soft hymn. "Hm, well I suppose you are. But I wonder why, since you are the most gorgeous thing on this beach." Before he could stop himself Abacuss had already said it. Damn. Now she's going to think I have a fricken crush on her. Damn. Damn. Damn. Abacuss pushed a shy grin onto his face before turning his gaze away from her. Clearly scared of what she was going to say. "I-I-I'm sorry.. I don't know what came over me.." Lifting his skull he allowed his chocolate orbs to rest upon the mare's shoulder. Not wishing to confront the expression she had. "You are very pretty though." Abacuss said kindly and sincerely as he raised his eyes to hers.

Xhexic Over and Over and Over and Then Some I released a deep breath of as in mild surprise, the stallion had not gone running nor had he turned hostile. I would soon change this black ones interest in me. "I can't say the same." I let my duo-colored eyes give him a slow once over. And although what I saw was not something that disgusted me -surprisingly- I let my lips turn downward into a frown; giving him the appearance that I did not approve of his brutish being. My eyes narrowed as Abacuss took a few steps back, he was a smart one. My hind legs were the most powerful thing on me. Well other then my bitter tongue "Are you here alone?" He asked, I shifted my weight from one side to the other faining boredom. But then his next words had me barking in unlaidy like laughter. "I think there is something terribly wrong with you black one." I rolled my body so that now my entire front was facing Abacuss. "You should ether get your eyes checked or get out more. I am no 'gorgeous thing'" I shook my head unbelievably. Both my eyebrows raised as the stallion placed on a grin that almost looked shy, mmm, this one definitely needed to get out more. "See you even regret what you said." This one was entertaining alright. "At Least you apologize for your mistakes." "You are very pretty though." ...Pretty...Pretty? Gah! Abacuss was ether dense or blind. "What is wrong with you?" I asked flabbergasted.

The thrumming race of his heartbeat made Abacuss all the more anxious as to what she would say. But as it turned out, she didn't seem to like the compliment and this only made Abacuss feel slightly at fault. Why had he said such a thing? Not all mares like to complimented I guess.. He thought soundlessly to himself. Lacing his ears back against his skull the stud tore his gaze away from the frowning mare. It hurt him for her to say such a thing but he refrained from showing any pain upon his countenance. It was his fault he had gotten himself into this situation, not hers. "You should either get your eyes checked or get out more. I am no 'gorgeous thing'." Her lyrics came to him in a sharp quip from the spotted mare. Why was she so certain that she was so hideous? It puzzled Abacuss but he kept himself from replying as she then continued to speak. "See you even regret what you said." Abacuss shook his head as she said this. But before he could speak she already started yet upon another hymn. "At least you apologize for your mistakes." He snorted at this.
"What is wrong with you?" She finally said with something that appeared like surprise and puzzlement. Abacuss only looked at her with a slightly confused expression. "There is nothing wrong with me, Xhexic. But i'm wondering what's wrong with you. Why can't you believe you are beautiful?" He said with a bit more force in his tone then he had intended. But she was facing him now and it seemed more appropriate for him - since he was out of danger now - to try and get to the reason of why she acted in such a way. Could she not believe that she was even partially beautiful? Or even an ounce pretty? It astonished Abacuss. He knew he was supposed to be asking this lady if she wanted to come join Sunset Meadows to join Rage's herd, but this deemed a bit more important to him. At least, for now.

Xhexic O god! this guy was so corny. "Why can't you believe you are beautiful?" Maybe it was because ever since I was born my own mother had riped me up and down for looking the way I did. I neather resembled my mother or my father, and no matter how hard I tried to make my personality be something that they could be proud of I was different. I wouldn't explain that to this stag though, he wouldn't want to hear it. They never did. All that anyone ells ever cared about was themselves. I'd learned that the hard way living with only myself to lean on for years. "There are a lot of things that are wrong with me Hun." I put the endearment on the end but I made it sound more like a curse then anything friendly. I was tiered and the night was soon to become riden of shadows by the morning glory of the sun. I let out a deep sigh and put on a bored look. "Tell me Abacuss, why did you come to me this night?" There would be no more kind banter I wanted to get right down to the point. "Are you hoping to take me home and fuck me like a slave?" I let out a cackle, it held no merth though it was hollow of any emotion, it would chill to the marrow. Of corse this stallion had come to make me his bitch, it was all males ever had on there mind. I gave him a harsh glair from my duo-colored eyes. "Sorry stag I will have had enough being someone ellses whore. I live for my self now." I bared my teeth, which stood out starkly in the moons cold glow.

Time seemed to be at a standstill while Abacuss waited for Xhexic to reply, and her expression only worsened. Why did he always say the wrong things? Keeping a straight face while the mare then bore down her speech upon him Abacuss remained silent. The racing of his heart yet kept hammering but his own lyri didn't come to pass over the dancing air lumes. It soon became apparent to the black stallion that Xhexic believed he had come here to claim her, himself, and take her home as a slave. No! He did not wish that at all! How could she think just savage things? Did all stallions act like this around her? Was this why she thought so poorly of him? Abacuss thought this was the reason why. Ugh. He hated this. Why did such assholes give the good guys such a bad name? It was horrible for him to have to listen to her venomous sniping. "Quiet!" He finally said to her. His voice was commanding and sharp.
"I did not come here to make you my slave at all! No! Why would you think of such horrible things?" Abacuss quickly inhaled a deep breath before continuing. "I have come here, tonight, to ask you if you would like to join the harem of Sunset Meadows. I do not ask of you to become any property of mine, or my lord Rage. Okay?" Slapping his tail against his flank the brute raised his head higher, glaring at the mare with an exasperated expression. He felt his muscles flex beneath him as he then pushed himself forward nearer to the spotted fatale. He came up near her baring fangs. "I only ask of you to join Sunset Meadows. Alright? Nothing more." He breathed to Xhexic. Keeping his ears flicked back against his skull, he then walked onward a few steps away before he then halted and craned his neck into her direction. "If you wish to accompany me to Sunset Meadows, you may. Or else you can stay on this dark beach. Alone."
Revolving his head back to its original position he then walked forward. His direction pertaining to the route that led to his home. Sunset Meadows. Maybe she will follow me . . . But I probably shouldn't have been so harsh . . . His dissipating thoughts echoed within his cranium as he disappeared off the sandy beach.

Xhexic Everything happened so fast, time seemed to speed, like it was on heroin. But my brain couldn't keep up, in one moment the stag was talking while in the next he was gone. Gah this stallion was strange, he had come seeking me all intent of taking me home... no that was wrong. I shook my head violently in disbelief. This Abacuss was giving me a choice in weather or not I wanted to be... not his... but be part of a home. I flaired my nostrils still trying to cope with what had just been thrown at me. Stallions weren't supposed to be different, they were all supposed to view mares as baby makers and nothing more. An idea popped into my head, one that made my confusion evaporate and had my head shooting back up so that I could command my body to follow. I wanted to yell something like 'hey you, the one with the face.' just because I was in a better mood then before. But I didn't I wanted to get down right to the point again. "Hey big black. I got a question." My pace was quick and agile, hooves parting the sand like mosses on a good day. "You don't want me because you are gay right?" It was the only explanation for what I had to explain why this stallion didn't want to take me home and reproduce with me. I was only a few feet behind the stallion and now that I knew that this one was a rare find I could admire his arse without repercussions.

It seemed apparent to Abacuss that Xhexic was most likely not going to come with him. He had said the wrong things, but damnit. Why did she have to believe that he only wanted her as a slave and that she was so ugly? She wasn't at all ugly in his eyes. Her temperament was quite coarse. But that could just be spunk. Right? Abacuss had traveled up off and away from the beach and he was heading farther into the thick underbrush and foliage when he heard the echoing tremor of footfalls. Turning his head and halting in mid-stride he looked back to see Xhexic approaching. A smile slowly was tugged onto his lips as she then came up beside him. He wanted to ask her if she had found some sense but before he could mutter a word she then spoke. At once Abacuss let his 'brow' rise. The construction of his expression held the frame of shock. "What?" He sputtered out that single word. How could she think such a thing? Him, being gay? What the hell . . .
Maneuvering his body to face the spotted mare he looked away toward the ground, trying to collect his thoughts as they swam around in his head. It took him a bit to finally concentrate on what he wanted to say and at that time he rose his chocolate gaze from the soil and onto Xhexic's face. "I assure you, Xhexic, I am not gay." Abacuss' voice was breathless and he tried to put as much emphasis on his words as he could. Obviously the spotted fae had never been shown respect. Or had never seen a stallion show respect to any female. "If showing respect to you is being gay, then you must truly be some sort of sex freak." The black stud couldn't help saying it. Xhexic was getting a little under his skin and having her accuse him of being gay was something that he just couldn't, and wouldn't, stand for.

Xhaxic "What?" the stallions indignant reply came sputtering out of him and almost had me laughing from the expression on his face. I sobered quickly though, if Abacuss wasn't gay then that meant that he was attracted to me. I let out a breath of air the flumped up a few dark tendrils of my two colored forelock. It took him a minute to continue obviously his brain was trying to figure out how to reply to me with the least bad effect to me. Because honestly this stag was nothing like any I had ever met before. This Abacuss seamed to have at least some morals. "If showing respect to you is being gay, then you must truly be some sort of sex freak." His deep spoken words had me pondering this time. What to say, what to say? "Honestly I have never had sex before. Though many have tried before you." I rolled my duo-colored eyes at him and shifted my body slightly. "I thought you to be gay though because who in this day and age shows respect?" My own parents had tortured me so there was little to base anything off of. "Are you trying to tell me that by you leaving me is a way of you showing me respect?" I shook my head slightly in disbelief, if you looked at the world the way that this stallion was trying to tell me to see it one and one would equal squirrel.

Abacuss peered at the spotted fatale as she let a deep breath fall past her lips. Why was this becoming so difficult? His only job was to come to the wandering territories, ask a few ladies to join Sunset Meadows, and then come home with them to show Rage. But this was becoming harder by the minute. Why couldn't he have found a nice easy-going mare? Well, I guess if he had, he would already be on his way home and he wouldn't really be talking to Xhexic. And if that did happen, he would most likely have went home with a much uglier mare. So perhaps having personality wasn't such a bad thing. Having ever since meeting her he had been approached with more exciting things than he normally would have had in five years of his life. And this had all happened in one day of being with just one mare. Abacuss' seemed to cheer up a bit at that. Even though it was becoming a bit more of a hassle to get her moving to Sunset Meadows, he was having a good time just being around the spotted fae. So that had to count for something.
The black stallion's ears perked as her lyri once more graced the air waves. "Honestly I have never had sex before. Though many have tried before you." Her eyes rolled at him as she finished her speech. What had he done? He hadn't tried to have sex with her. Where the hell did she get that idea? "I thought you to be gay though because who in this day and age shows respect?" Xhexic's words came out truthfully, that much he could tell, and he knew that there was some truth in that. How many horses showed respect to others in this present-day world? "Are you trying to tell me that by you leaving me is a way of you showing me respect?" Abacuss snorted. "No, I'm not trying to tell you that was respect. Not at all. And why do you think I have tried to have sex with you? When have I given the notion that I wanted to?" He paused for a moment, taking in a deep breath and watching as she shook her head. "I didn't mean to leave you. I'm sorry. I am, but, could you at least show a bit of kindness on your part?" Abacuss said with a bit more sternness than he wanted.
Flaring his velvet nostrils the stud exhaled a deep breath and allowed his eyes to divert from Xhexic for a moment, once more collecting his thoughts. Abacuss then concentrated on her, his facade displaying a bit more of a sensitivity. "All I have asked of you is if you would wish to come with me to Sunset Meadows and be apart of the herd. And all I wish to know now is if you are coming with me, or if you're not." A summer breeze then sped past Abacuss, twirling his thick locks about in the atmosphere.
