Indigo Only stood four maybe five feet from his only love, his beautiful golden Queen, Amira. She was the only one whom had really stayed with him through the times he had been gone reaching for almost a year. She, Amira stayed and protected the land while One Heart and his adopted daughter, little Lady ran off. One Heart was pregnant with indigo’s foal but told him before she left that she would dump the foal off at the edge of the land as soon as it was born not a day before or a day later. It was a good thing that Amira was going to have her foal at least a few days if not a week or two before One Heart was going to deliver her foal, that way Amira could be able to nurse the starving new born foal and she could just adopt it as her own it would be just like having twins.
Indigo’s spotted body was covered by a raggy winter coat; his thick mane stood half up kind of like a zebra’s mane stands up. Amira’s belly was huge now and with only maybe two months or so left to go before she was to give birth she was starting to get really mood. Just a few days ago she had snapped on him for just getting a little too close to her, and had bitten his neck and took a little bit of pelt with her only leaving a little bleeding skin and a bare patch about the size of a quarter, but Indigo understood he that was pushing his luck when he knew all too well the her body was just going coco because of the hormones from the pregnancy and he just forgave her because he knew she did not mean it as if she hated it was just her way of telling him she was uncomfortable this stage of being pregnant. Staying always at least four to five maybe even six feet away from his love, Amira, he always made sure he did everything he could possibly do to make her more comfortable. He spoke soft as to try and not irritate her even more than she already was:
“Amira, honey, how are you feeling? Can I get you anything to make you feel better?”
Indigo hated seeing Amira in this state of being constantly uncomfortable, but every time he asked her what he could do to help her feel better nothing could be done, even though he needed to give up on trying to help her feel better he wasn’t going to do that because of his tremendous amount of love he had for this beautiful golden Goddess, he waited quietly for her answer even though he knew it would more than likely to be the same as every other time…
