`anntho ;;back up, brute :: Again I glided over the ground, snow still littered the ground, and vultures squeaked violently as I went towards them, stirring them up and listening to the protest, they'd be back soon enough. My gaze went around the area, I had picked someplace that was half open, though just on the edge of the tree line, it was all to my advantages of course. Pausing I turned in a few tight circles, lifting each leg and listening to the joints crack, I was getting abit stiff from being cooped up around Hallow Woods all the time, though it was getting better since I had found Thea, she kept me moving.
Stopping on a dime I peered around, each scent alert to the sound of the brute coming along, had he decided that he didn't want to show up anymore? That he decided whatever his trival reason for not liking me was just that, trivial. Or was he still settled on calling me names. With another snort of what seemed like amusement I stood, head even with my spine and harks twisted in different directions.

RAGE I ran at her from behind. I’m not to sure whether I knocked her over for as I made impact with her I sent flying to the left of her. I regained my footing and shook my mane. I was angry know. I charged at her again and turned to kick her. I felt my feet hit something but was unsure if it was her or a tree. Either way my legs began to ache. She was tough but so was I. I was a war horse she was not. I stood my ground five feet from her. Would she attack or not? That was for her to decide.
“Mare, if you really wish to fight me than strike me, if not bow to me and tell me that you yield.”

`anntho ;;back up, brute :: My harks twisted back as he charged in from behind, and I let him, feeling him run against me, and push me around which I let, it would only help me to get around to him in a fluent motion. Stumbling over myself momentairily I flicked my muzzle up, narels expanded and gaze stern, but then it settled into a sly look as I started out around him, head still level with my spine.
A breeze blew threw, and my tongue buttered across my lips, a smirk coming to the velvet appendages. Slinking closer I bumped his haunches once before lurching forward on his off side and snapping my ivories out for the middle of his neck. If it didn't hit, I could only hope I latched onto somewhere else, and if not, I'd go to my next plan.

RAGE
I bit back a yelp as she grabbed my neck. She had me pinned to the ground. I closed my eyes at the pain and attempted to kick her in the stomach. I hoped she felt that. I didn’t know whether she let go or not, the pain was too unbearable to stand and I couldn’t tell if her jaws were still clutched around my throat. I remembered why I was doing this. For the mare I want, Zarian and Chaos’ respect. I let my pain go as made an attempt to kick her in the ribs. My eyes were still closed and I bit towards her. I didn’t know what I hit but I tasted blood, unsure if it was hers or my own. My eyes still closed I retreated two or three feet away from her. My eyes were closed but my hearing picked up on her movement.
"Try to attack me, mare.”

`anntho ;;back up, brute :: Feeling him lash out to my stomache made me let go, a snarl etched onto my face and I stepped back from him as well, feeling the gashes on my stomache bleeding freely. Sidestepping I went back to circling him, getting closer than back hopping away from him, edging him on, trying to bring him off the open plains and into the wooded areas, elimanating the light that his whole alliance strived on.
Gnashing my ivories together I stood in waiting, giving him time to close the distance, carefully considering my next move, and when I had it, I sprung, my ivories launched out again, but this time for his muzzle. Aiming to bite into the flesh and keep his mouth closed, block his breathing, and eventually force him down like a childhood game of mercy. Again my harks twisted though this time they burrowed deep into my mane, hidden in the wild grey tangle.

RAGE
I jumped back as I realized she was coming for me. She bit my nose and yelled in pain. I turned and kicked her in the nose. Hopefully it didn’t miss. I just knew I felt impact as my hind hit something. I licked the blood from nose and charged at her. I circled her ready to get a death grip on her. I wanted to crush her windpipe, cutting off her breathing and killing her. I reared up to show how mighty I was and came back down. Was that fear I saw in her eyes? Maybe it was a gleam from the sun reflecting off the snow. I looked at the ground, finally opening my eyes. The snow was stained with blood.

`anntho ;;back up, brute :: As he squealed I had let go and jerked my head sideways, but his well aimed kick still got me along my neck, clearing away the fur and leaving another scar to add to the one running down my leg. As he circled around me, I flashed him a smirk, and put my head down, the wind whistling in my harks. With the added leverage I threw out a buck, just before him, a purposful miss.
Turning around suddenly, my head was now up and I came forward to push my chest into his, curling my knees up under me and launching myself upwards with my complete force, hoping to catch him under the chest with both of my knees, but I could only get up so far before I felt the gash on my stomache staring to tear at the edges and so I resort to baring my teeth again and just butting heads with him.

We don't have a substantial form to use, and I'm lazy, but..
Eclipse; The first post was really rough sounding. It was easy to follow, but not really easy to understand. It got MUCH better as the fight drew on. Perhaps you could start using different words (instead of I, try the beast, the ___ colt, etc) Overall, it was a really great fight, being your first time.
Anntho; Very easy to comprehend, not much else to comment on. I noticed a few minor grammar errors, but they were very minor and not noticed. Liked the use of the different words, but were sometimes overdone.
Result; TIE - both were equally good, and lacked in the same places.
Injuries; ECLIPSE - Minor gashes on neck, heals after 2 seasons; ripped nostril, will clear, but messes with sense of scent. ANNTHO - Punctures on the stomach, clears after 1 season but leaves her with a difficulty of breathing for 2 seasons; scrapes on neck, minor, didn't break skin.
Congrats to both of you. It was a well fought fight.
