Vexing your heart Is easier than it looks
Striding along, long powerful legs pulling me towards somewhere I had never been. My eyes sweeped across the land lightly. I smirked at them. At nightfall, the trees seemed to spiral out and try to grab you. I stopped in the middle of a path, the wind shook the trees and made me shudder, as there spindly arms touched my coat. I laughed humbly and carried on. My eyes began to flame in their red manner and I looked down the path with those burning eyes. My legs were stained with the blood of a wolf who had troubled me long ago. The crusty red substance flaked off and I felt them peel off. I stopped at the heart off the path and stared into the lands. So creepy. So dark. So... lovable. I sighed and stayed, positioned perfectly, my head twitching to look at the many sight, my feet locked in their position and my tail swished every moment to shake off the feeling of being watched. I always got that feeling. Would it always be there? Who knew. Only the devil on my shoulder would know.

the exorcism; ;
I halted from my routine territory inspection at the base of a long-dead tree, harks folded behind my refined hanoverian dish. Periwinkle gaze had followed the hoofprints on the path right up to a mare, who was she and what was she doing in my land? A home maybe, a wanderer even? Without a sound or warning, my shoulders rolled forward into a gentle walk as I had progressed towards the essa - beautiful in colour, rich chocolate body with creamy tressels, she'd brighten my day any day. Mustn't let Alchemy know that, dearie.
What luck I have had in finding such an innocent soul.
My lyrics were calm and not at all demanding, I was welcoming her to the land of the dead; Devil's Creek. I waved my kinked banter for a while before resting it behind my hindquarters, peri's watching her every movement. Swinging my head around to try and scent out Alchemy, I had no luck so I returned my hardened glance towards this mare again, waiting for an answer.

My head swung as lyrics were sounded from a husky stallion. I looked at him with the fiery eyes. I smirked and rolled my head back to look at the heart of the land. I wouldn't say I was innocent, but I think you should convict me for having a soul as black as mine. I said, another mares scent drifted within my nostrils. The scent clung to the stallion and I gagged on it. She was practically all over him. The smirk plastered on my lips widened and I side stepped. Are these your lands? I couldn't imagine a more worthy stallion. Especially one as handsome as you... My seductive tones echoed in the confines of the path. The moon rose higher and I followed it up, with my head, taking in the fresh air, and more of the females scent.

I see you smell Alchemy.
I had answered her softly, straightening my body so I had stood to my full height. I tilted my harks back slightly as I watched this new mare with interest, I wondered what her name was. Once again I stepped foward towards her before coming to a halt merely inches from her.
I'm The Exorcism, and you are?
I introduced myself casually, letting my eyes drink her in. She was of the dark alliance but she had a nice, even temper. Evil as we were, we didn't want a bad reputation, would we?

So that's who the mare was. I snorted at the name of the mare. I shook my head and snorted again. I be Vex. was all I said. I heard him step closer, but I didn't look round. I stared at his lands and sighed out the air in my lungs. Your lands are very quiet. I'm guessing you and this... Alchemy live here alone. Shame... I said, looking at the male through the corner of my eye. I smiled at him and then back to the lands, the moon was very high now, climbing still. It made the lands twinkle. I looked round, the opposite way to the stallion, and flicked my tail against his hind legs. He was few hands higher than one, but he had a ruggish feeling about him. I looked down the line of trees, still, my tail sticking to him.

I let my maw slide over her withers for a moment before ivorns clipped them gently, before whirling around to nip at her hindquarters. She was officially a Devil's Creek mare now.
Welcome to hell, love. Make yourself at home.

I jumped as he nipped me, and I smirked at the feeling. I looked at him as he spoke and I smiled. Hell? Huh? Is it really that good? I said, sarcasticly. The smile I held turned into a smirk and I winked at the stallion. Well, what a welcoming! Not much of a stallion, but his lands were pretty. I walked forward, stopped a few paces infront and looked, flirtingly, up at the stallion. Would he like me the way I am? Oh well. If he didn't he'd have to deal with it. I smirked and walked on, swishing my tail as I walked.

A.l.c.h.e.m.y :: remeber yesterday;; Until now I was content with standing by and just watching, waiting out until Ex finished his little time with the newest addition, but it seemed, he had already introduced me and that I could remain hidden for the rest of eternity. Something I was good at. I was always around here, but I was unable to be found, just how I liked it. The brambles rattled as the faint click of tendons drew me past the prickly bush, feeling it's thorns tear my skewbald pelt violently, but in all honesty, I was used to it.
Who have we here Ex? I murmured, confident strides drawing me nearer to the hellion, muzzle thrusted out at the last second to knock his shoulder in a seemingly agressive manner. My lavender shaded gaze turned on the new mare, as if I were inspecting her, though, really, I was just looking at her with the same blank, watchful expression everyone got, it was just, me.

A discontented sigh ran through my maw as I turned to look at the Devil's queen Alchemy, catching sight of her blood-stained skewbald peltage. My harks flew backwards in a slight temper, what had done this to her? Narrowing down the possibilities, it couldn't have been a cougar or coyote - there'd be barking and feminine screams. Plus they were way too small to be claw marks, so it must've been the bramble thorns.
I threw a sideways glance at the newest addition before turning my ebon cerebrum towards the lipizzan essa, eyes darting around her face for a moment, as if a mother scolding her child for doing something they shouldn't have done. She should atleast treat the newcomers with more respect as did he. He was not like the others, trying to scare off the mares before they had a chance to explain why they were in the territory, no he was nice enough to get along. Stupid..
Have some respect, Alchemy! This is the new Lady of Devil's Creek, Vex. Vex, this is the queen Alchemy.

I stopped at the sound of the mare. I listened to the voices, yet didn't turn. Queen, eh? Not for long.... I thought. I smirked and turned slowly. Ex had called me the new lady of Devils creek. I liked the sound of that. I faced the 'queen' and dipped my head, in a courteous way. I didnt mean it though. I smiled at the femme, and gave the wild stallion a sweet smirk with an added wink. I don't know whether it is a pleasure to meet you, or whether it is present sent from the devil himself... I said, in a sweet sarcastic tone. Oh, how clever I was to think of such a thing to say to a queen. I took a step forward and looked the mare over. She was not what I call queen material.

Oh god, already a fight for queen? Opticals narrowed as the brujo stared down Vex, auditories pinned backwards as he thought of probably losing one of his mares in a fight. No, they wouldn't kill each other, just bludgen each other until one runs off frightened by the near-death experience. Haunches rocked backwards as he stepped sideways to slap his body against the Lady's harshly, ivorns snapping out to meet her withers in a warning.
Now Vex, be nice.
He then threw a glance at the skewbald essa he had named his queen. Maybe naming the spot a little early was a mistake, he should've let other mares test him for the spot, not just jump to conclusions and pick the mare he thought seemed fit, but he had to admit. She didn't look like queen material, but don't let looks decieve you.

I threw a sidewards glance at Ex and dipped my head to Honor his decision. I smiled and approached the couple. Oh, I am being nice. Except me being nice is like a murder. Mysterious, untrustworthy and so much fun... I said, my tones trying to sweeten the mood but failed. I giggled heartily and eyed the stallion again. He was handsome. How did he ever find this mare. I smiled at both and awaited someone to speak, the silence was deafening. I shook my head and snorted into nothing. Nothing was all I had ever known. My friend and greatest comfort.

A.l.c.h.e.m.y :: remeber yesterday;; As Ex reprimanded me, and gave me his stare, my ivories clicked together in a threatening manner. I was no child, he wasn't my Father, and in my book, I was being nice. I know all this Was all I replied in an raspy voice, before slinking off towards his other side, the blood drying on my skewbald pelt, forming a sort of crust that tugged at my pelt, and in simplier terms, bugged me. Twisting my nape in a seemingly uncomforatble position, my tongue rasped over the dried liquid, cleaning it away from my pelt, harks still twisted around on the other two though.

The queen had snapped at the black stallion, but he made no effort to move or even flinch at that fact. Instead what better thing to do then to put her in her place? Foreleg extended to smack into her chest cavity before ivories lashed out to connect with her crest. You will respect me and the Lady, I expect nothing less from you! he snarled half-heartedly, twisted harks pinned backwards into his ashen tressels as he once again threw a glance at Vex, all the while keeping his eye on the queen.
If there is to be a fight for the lead lady, have at it. he stated, huffing out a big whiff of air as his crown descended down upon the earth as he had made his decision: the race for queen between them was on. But for now, he'd go out and choose some more mares, and even slaves at that. Building up a nice little heirem would be key to being a lead stallion.
