BLACK CHAMPAGNE I'M GOING HOME. The lands, his great grandfather's lands, what has happened to them? They've been clouded over with the early signs of upcoming war and terrorism, he felt so worthless to not stop it from happening. Tendons worked slowly against the growing weeds in the nearest territory, which had seemed to have been long abandoned. Please, let there atleast be some life here. First day home to his grandfather's lands and not a soul to meet and greet.
Hello, I am Black Champagne, heir to Midnight Acres. Is anyone out there? Lyricals called out smoothly as he slowed his ashen carcass to a trot, then a gentle walk to a complete stop, waiting with perked interest and peaked curiousity. Muscles bunched up in his shoulders in case of needed to defend himself, but nothing had answered. So, he needed a home, why not claim this uninhabited land?

ava I don't care about anything, all those things I tried to be lately.
Maybe it had been a fool-hardy decision to wait for her lord to return. She'd fallen for that normal fairy tale, and she'd had nothing to show for her accomplishments. Her land that she'd ruled along Monte, the great king of the Valley in which she resided was gone, the realm was overgrown with tangling weeds that seemingly grabbed at your talons, as if they had the darks' mind as well. The spotted ess only had two clues of her past; one was her daughter, another spotted child who'd been scented around the land of Midnight Acres lately, and a son, the son that would've been heir to the Valley had died at birth. While saddened by the colt's unfortunate death, it was something that she moved past while wandering around her silent home.
The chores were the same. With or without Monte here, she could scope out the Valley's outside border daily, to make sure that the darks hadn't sent anymore spies. "Hello, I am Black Champagne, heir to Midnight Acres." Had she heard correctly? Radars pricked forward, Ava's drafty blood coursing in a sudden notion. Heir to Midnight Acres? Heir to a whole nation? That seemed almost unbelieveable! Amber tinted orbs scanned the terrain out, and she spotted the figure, her heart skipping a few beats. Why, this newcomer looked identical to Monte. Spotted ess continued to stare at the arriving stallion, somewhere along her own age. He didn't appear to be an immediate threat, so Ava gently began to recede off her hilltop, towards the beast. When she was close enough to the brute, her vocals carried out, only slightly rusty.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, sir, but there's no one else here. I am Ava; The Forgotten Valley's last survivor." Ava's voice lingered, friendly, but reserved none the less. She advanced towards the masculine figure, noting how his muscles ran across his withers, then realized that although Monte wasn't here, she still had an affectionate side to him. Breathing in a long, slow breath, the spotted ess continued. "You're Black Champagne, if I heard correctly? Heir, to Midnight Acres?" She didn't want to appear dubious, but the prince of a nation! That was so strange. To accompany for her doubtful lyrics, Ava flashed the ebony male a graceful smile, lifting her boa up, satisfied that the brute before herself was almost near the same height as her; and he looked as though he lacked those fine Arabian bloodlines.

BLACK CHAMPAGNE HEY BABY. The wind rustled the leaves around him causing his tressels to fly about unchained from his sweatened boa. Nasals quivered as he took in the scents of this land: weeds, fresh water, and another soul. Harks snapped forward at the scent of this soul, by the way it smelled it was of the female gender. Odd for a mare to be single-handedly run a place like this, and it only made his curiousity grow more intense and soon enough he found himself moving towards the wind that carried that sweet smell. Hello? Lyricals called out, stopping once more to flip up his top lip to allow himself better access to the scent, and it was even closer.
It grew silent on his side, causing his muscles to bunch up in case he needed to turn and flee from a pack of wolves or a hungry puma. He hadn't enough energy to fight back, so he had nothing better to do then to turn and high-tail it. But just before he could turn, it dawned on him, the female. . was heading straight towards him. Eyes widened at her frame, she seemed to be a painted arabian, and he soon found his throat raspy and dry. So shyly, he snapped his radars back into a thick sea of ebonite tressels and bowed his elegent features in mutal respect.
I am far from disappointed, he rasped - quite embarrassing on his terms. Dome shook to try and get his mind set straight once more but alas it failed: he was locked and transfixed on her beauty. . but most of all her opticals that just locked onto his. He swallowed hard, this was no time to flirt around with her, he had to find out why this place was deserted and possibly go make allies in the upcoming battle. He needed all the help he could get if he and his herd-to-come were to survive the harsh times of battle and rage. Indeed, I am Black Champagne.

ava Don't know, don't know what I'll do in the morning.
Amber glints were wide with a hungry curiosity, one that probably wouldn't leave for a while, until I figure out who this coal tainted brujo was. The rest of her dotted form was tense; she knew this schedule pretty well. Although the darks hadn't raided my home land yet, the number of cougars on the prowl had been increasing, adding to my tight mood. Still, she remained relaxed as she neared the primed masculine mold, scanning him closely. Even from this far off glance, the sculpted female sensed no animosity from him. Glints blinked slowly and she continued closer, the stallion speaking, his voice sounding rather.. dry? Almost airy, as if he had been confused, or shocked. Amber glints blinked again, and she stared at the brute, a small laugh forming at her throat, his words forming and reaching her brain. I am far from disappointed. Ava's laughter bubbled from deep within her throat, and floated out on a sweet tone, then faded into a small, absent chuckle.
"I'm not sure that I understand what you're implying, sir, but I would take it for a complement." Vocals carried out, her tone lingering from it's usual, professional notes. Was this ashen licked brute already having an effect on her? What if he was a spy from the darks, sent to do the gruesome chore of slaying someone like her. No, stop it. Don't think about that. You're a big girl. A faint nod was shown at Black Champagne's respectful gesture, and she returned it, tresses falling over her amber hued orbs, creating a hidden veil. Transfixed over the brujo as he replied again, she shifted her weight on muscled pillars, listening closely. Indeed, I am Black Champagne. Alright, that much she knew. Obviously, this coal, matured stallion had to be new. It was almost as if she forgot about his so called claimence to Midnight Acres. It obviously slipped her mind.
When no other words came from the lips of this new arrival, Ava took it upon herself to investigate his appearance. Again, shifting her weight onto thin limbs, her voice crackled out cleanly, lilting and curious. "Pleasure to be of your acquaintance, Black Champagne. Might I venture to ask why your here?" Blunt and to the point. Such was her way of speaking. Seeming embaressed by her direct approach, Ava dipped her molted, slightly dished crown outward, as if to shrug. Then, hiding her mishap, eyes looked away from the handsome stud to survey her realm, which had, ashamedly, fallen a little from what it used to be. Maybe this was too much for one single, inexperienced mare to handle. Maybe..

BLACK CHAMPAGNE THIS AINT A SCENE. ;; Teals studied her frame for a long moment, the first thing he could notice that her own ambers were wide and staring right at him. Under her glance his ears shot backwards and a frown crossed his lips, a tilt of his head was given as he had done so. Why was she looking at him like that? Did he have something on his face? A snort came from his nares, pulling his crown inwards towards his chest cavity with a hardened glare. What are you looking at? he spoke, sudden change in his mood was irrevelent.
;; Thoughts wandered back to he and Chaos' meeting just minutes before, and suddenly he found his blood pressure rising dramatically. A shudder of disappointment racked at his bodice as he tried to look at her rather calmly, ears forcing to be perked atop his head, but to no avail they shot backwards anyways. He felt the need to kill something, anything in his rage. But at her words, he seemed to calm, neck dropping lazily to advert her gaze.
;; I've come to check upon my lands. The word my was spat out with such venom it sickened him, and he looked away ashamed of his sudden temper. Chaos had tried to take over Midnight Acres, but of course standing in his way was him, Black Champagne. All fifteen-hundred pounds of him. A war he wants and a war he'll get.
