The night was cold and stormy, which made the ground in Taunted Marshes wet enough to suck in any intruders. Currently there was only one inhabitant of this foreskin land, and what a beast he was. This king, if he could still be called that with his empty land, was in his prime but his mind was lost along with his queen and heir. It had not been to long ago that the dappled beast claimed these Marshes and found a mare good enough to keep him in one place. For this stallion was a wonder, he traveled with the wind, and when he followed it, it seemed to call his name. But, it had been almost a year since the brute had followed a storm, and he was beginning to think it was time for him to leave, however he couldn’t bring himself to do it. He had to save one and revenge another’s death. The captive was his heir and the deceased his queen both downfalls caused by Riku the king of Black Lake. The two stallions had no blood in common but they where almost the spitting image of one another. Both brutes pelts held the color of dappled gray, the lineage of Arabians. They both equaled out at 15.2 hands and had blueish eyes. Bust most importantly they both had fallen for the tempting Sophie. Now this king had made this bay mare his queen and Riku had killed her. So which had come out on top?
Pillars struck the ground as the beast galloped through his land. It had been nearly a season since the king had shown this much life. For he had been in a state of depression and shock, never before had he been robbed of a queen and a heir, and it would surely never happen again. The wind whipped the stallions mane and his tail flew out behind him. Tonight was much like the night when the beast had first arrived, the skies filled with rain and dark clouds. The only difference was that there was no lightning but it was not needed the king knew it was time for him to return. And that was what he was going to do.
Suddenly, the great stallion stopped short and reared, his pillars thrashing at the air before him. He had come to the heart of his terra, geographically and spiritually. For these caverns where were he had meet Sophie and his daughter Cocaine. So it was only right that here he make it known to all of Midnight Acres that he was back and ready to fight.

[glow=black,2,300]adelina;[/glow] !! It'd been years since I had had the company of my liking, not very much so of the equine race. But I could vaguely remember the sand underneath my hooves and the games I had played with the buzzards when I had been foaled. But so much of it has gone to waste and was nothing but a distant memory sitting peacefully in the back of my mind just itching to get out, but it knew it never would. With a shake of my blue-tainted dial, I continued forward into the mucky land cursing myself from running away. But this is what it had came to, here I am.
!! My presence shall be known, for I am Lady Adelina! Show yourself! I had screamed, letting my small fifteen-hand formage wait silently under a dead tree. Show yourself had been a rather dumb request, sorta demanding even. Noting my words, I drew my head towards my chest with a shy snort. Waiting.. seeming forever.

Have you brought yourself to your dimse our will he spare your life?
Coming crashing down to the earth the beast also came crashing back into reality. It has been a long time since the beast has ran through his terra and boy did it feel good to stretch his muscles. It was shocking that Yarraman had let the death of a mare get to him like it had. But Sophie, was on of the very few mares if not the only mare the stallion had really taken a liking too. Well after they had fought. With the thought of that first day Yarraman escaped into the past…
The night had been a stormy one and Yarraman of cores had loved every seconded of it. He was on his way back home empty handed from Zukura Brooke and he had heard a call of a mare from his land, and it was challenging call. The mare had played of Yarraman’s temper and the two had drawn each others blood. But in the end they had taken a liking to each other and shared there first spawn. Cocaine…
It was as if he was dreaming. The beast was brought out of his past by the call of a mare. Now if that isn’t irony I don’t know what is. Thorns pricked forward to listen to the fae’s words. She was giving him commands after she had just trespassed onto his lands. Furry raced threw the beast. This was to much like the encounter with Sophie.
Charging forward, Yarraman neared the entrance of his terra and circled the outskirts of where the mare stood. Slowly getting closer with each circle. This wench had no idea how big of a mistake she had just made. And the worst part was that she couldn’t have ever known…it really wasn’t her fault. As the beast circled he kept one deep blue eye fixed on the mare and he looked her over. Her pelt was rare, and luckily for her did not resemble Sophie one bit infact none of her did. Which slightly calmed the beast down but he was still royally pissed.
Plunging forward Yarraman quickly shortened the distance between the two equines. Coming closer to the fae it appeared that he wasn’t going to slow down but at the last seconded he reduced to a canter but he still plowed into the fae with his chest. The stallions neck was arched and slightly damp from he rage. Well wench it was and still is for that matter a stupid move to demanded something of me after you have trespassed onto my home. Yarraman spat. He was not like other stallions who allowed any one accesses to his lands or got excited when a mare wondered in them. So what has caused you to make such a fatal move? Yarraman trotted around the mare twice and the seconded time bit at her rump, and then came to a halt on her left side.

[glow=red,2,300]adelina;[/glow] I had drew my head backwards as his force had met my chest cavity, but I was not thrown aback. Instead I rose my frame to the air, one pillar tucked to hit my underside and one to strike out at the air. I was a royal one, yes but my actions were with purpose. If he wanted a fight, a fight he would get. Maybe in his mind he could overpower me, maybe in his dreams would he feat me. Seems you've met your match, stallion. Come on, fight me. It's always better dead than alone.
Adelina..? Wake up, honey the silvered mare had called to me in my dreams, was this my mother? Synthetic! I let my foal bodice lay on the ground for a moment before rolling over onto my belly, rogue ears pinned into my tresses. Ma? Where are you? I murmured smally, sitting myself in an upright position like a human. Wildly I thrashed my head to try and pinpoint the beautiful albino essa, but I could see nothing. With a desperate cry, I fell to the earth sadly.
Periwinkle eyes had raged as I had fallen back towards the ground, arching my already thin napage to blow hot carbon in his face. He had not fased me with his actions, nor would he. He should prepare fast for an attack, cause I was merely wondering in search for a home and this is how I get treated? Oh no, stallion. You may have claimed subtle, submissive mares, but I am not animal as such. What has moved me to enter such a place is the simple fact of finding a home, now if you wish for me to leave, I would happily do so. I spat back, my nares blowing my hot carbon right into his face. It wasn't a challenge nor a loving gesture, just one of those 'back down' gestures.

Orbs stayed fixed on the wench, waiting for her to lash out. And just as he anticipated it came, and Yarraman backed up but her hoof grazed his left shoulder. Pawing the ground the dappled beast snorted and hot steam came from his flared nares. Thorns where pinned back and his teeth slightly bared. This would not turn into a fight for it would be to much like Sophie’s arrival and the beast would not stand for that.
Looking into this Adelina’s periwinkle eyes he saw all of her emotions. Such a downfall he thought to show your feelings in your eyes. That one factor ruined so many promising futures and led to so many deaths, his fathers being one of them. Circling around the mare yet again he took her in, but this time with a more keen eye. She was of the dark alliance which would put her in a good position to become a member of Taunting Marshes. She did not have a submissive nature or follow his lead which once again put her in good terms. Well.. Adelina… looks like you have found your self a home Tossing his head to the entrance of the land he smirked. Once you cross the barrier to hell there is no turning back. A deep chuckle came from the beast and he gave a small grunt of satisfaction. So my dear you are now a member of Taunting Marshes. And you follow under my lead. You may dispute all you like but I am now your king. Yarraman had dropped his aggressive stance but he still held the tone of power. I am Yarraman. And the yearling that resides in this land is Radon. Treat us both with respect and I will see to it that you get it back in return. Is that clear? Yarraman was a fare ruler. He punished those who needed punishment and rewarded those who did well. The beast made sure that everyone, besides the slave if he had one, was respected. For to be a successful heard one had to have inner peace first.

[glow=red,2,300]adelina;[/glow] !! Auditories had disappeared behind me refined crania as I gave him a sideways glance, it was daring and thoughtful. They also held rage and some power, maybe even a little trust thrown in between. Chest swelled with air before it was released before my nose before it dipped in towards the cavity, letting myself adjust to his presence. He wasn't half bad...
!! With a simple roll of my lanterns, I moved off at a brisk trot further into the land. "Once you cross the border," he says. "There's no going back," he says. No going back my ass.. I had murmured mentally to myself, shaking the thoughts from my head as my tendons stretched in an urge to get away from him. I must not have been on the queen list, so I had no intention of staying and courting him.
!! Coming to a halt, my painted carcass turned to face the setting sun. Dialage shook once again before I had sat in the position as I did when I was a foal. Periwinkles never blinked or dared move as I stared into the orange bliss, I had no intentions of leaving. This was my home..
I live here..

radon Watch it.. The brush split apart as I moved forward, I had been watching Yarraman and the mare for some time, and as he mentioned my name, I felt I should present myself, get back into the flow of being evil, like I had been when I was with her. My tendons clicked as I continued my advance at a leisurly trot towards the King of Taunting Marshes. My ears twisting around and slightly up, but not fully up, I was still to far in my hole to be that affiable.
As I reached Yarraman, I finally did glance at the mare, I hadn't caught her name, but I was pretty sure she wouldn't give it to me, and I was in no mood to argue, so I would wait until the head hancho called upon her. I had been starting to fallow Yarraman around alot more, learning from him, and trying to mimic him in some aspects, but not all, I still needed to reserve some of myself.
Look boy, another new toy The voice taunted deep inside my mind, and I sneered, shaking away the thoughts, and dropping my muzzle down towards the muddy ground, aggitated that it had popped up now. Don't ignore me..You can't ignore me The voice continued to drone in my yearling sized head, annoying me to no ends, but yet, I remained silent, unlike the first time I was here, and I had snapped at it vocally, such a strange time. My gaze clouded slightly and I dropped back into memories, still standing at Yarraman's side, unmoving, and starng at the ground.

Yarraman herd an equine coming towards him and his new wench. Flaring his nostrils he let the wind carry the scent towards him. It was Radon; he must have sensed the new mare. Already he was perking up. It was good to have equines once again roaming his land, especially a new mare.
Turning his head back to talk to the new arrival he stopped, for all he could he was her backside trotting away. A slight disappointment came over Yarraman he had hoped that she would have fought him a little and not let him just run her over like that. The brute made a mental note to puss her again, all the equines in this heard needed to have back round otherwise his temperamental moods would ruin them. It was true that the dapple gray had a nasty temper, and it always seemed to rise with the coming of a storm. But the mares where dealing with a stallion who was possessed by the wind. Speaking of wind, it had just betrayed the mare for it carried her murmurings back to the stallion she was mocking. But, Yarraman paid no attention to her remarks as long as she obeyed him she would get along just fine.
A deep nicker came from the king when Radon came through the clearing, however he did not glance at the yearling. Then a louder call escaped, to the mare. He was calling her back to meet his… hmm… what should he be called? A prodigy in training, ya that sounded good. So he was calling her back to meet his prodigy trainee. This time Yarraman shot a glance towards Radon, he would have to learn to make himself presentable to the new mares. There would be none of… well what he was doing right now. His posture was horrendous. Hadn’t he learned self pride I mean he was after all a follower of Cocaine? Pick your head up boy. There will be no lack of pride in my terra. Grow some back bone. This is your one and only warning. Once again Yarraman’s tone was harsh to the dark colored yearling. But he meant well and Yarraman did not speak kind words.

Cautiously I had turned around to face the two demons, had I dare go back to them? Whether or not that was an option, I allowed my front tendons to rise my painted bodice to the sky once more before my muscles twisted around to shake the dust off my haunches. With a soft sigh, I moved off at a brisk trot down the hill; thank god for akhal-teke feet. If I had not had them, I would've fallen down it by now, flat on my face and in the vision of my king. What an embarrassment that would be..
Napage twisted around like a snake before I slid to a stop in front of them, maybe the wind that had tossed my tresses would've made me seem more stallionish. Neck tresses had splashed forward to tickle my chin and my hock-teaser had whipped at my barrels. Chest had swollen with air and crown held high on an arched nape. I dared to face them, they posed no threat.
Periwinkle gaze had landed on this little runt Yarraman had seemed to have adopted. With a scowl, fuzzed-tipped auditories had pulled back towards my plane, head dipping slightly as I eyed him. You call, I've come my king. Why do you bother me in my time of silence? I hissed halfheartedly, golden dagger striking at the earth in front of me. While waiting for an answer, I turned to this little colt.
He looks vaguely familiar.. this couldn't be the foal I had abandoned? No, it couldn't be.. could it?

Orbs watched as the mare grew closer, trying to figure her trying to figure her out. She was no doubt a stunning female. Her build was light and feminine but her attitude was rough. The perfect combination. But was she queen material? It hurt to have to find another queen, Sophie was such a suitable partner, but he was coming to accept her death. However, Iodine was also a likely candidate, both mares had an even shot.
As Adelina made her came closer, I shot a warning look at Radon. This would be his first chance to prove himself, interacting with other equines was a kill that needed to be mastered. How he responded to my new mare would key me in to how much work I had gotten myself into.
I was rather shocked to how the blur sabino reacted. I had pictured her a little more spitfire but I had no complaints with her response. Ha but of coarse it came at the end… This Adelina is Radon. He was the yearling I was telling you about. He had shown up so I decided to make the introduction. For all the equine in my herd must learn to co-exist.
Seeing the way the wench was looking at the yearling, my harks came forward. Her gaze seemed to hold some sort of familiarity. Clearly something was going on that I didn’t know about.

radon It's not nice to stare.. A slight hiss rattled my diaphram, but it was again at the voice deep inside me, something I never had wanted. My thoughts drifted back to Cocaine, and at her image alone did my head pick up, I would have to keep the yearlings we had collected in line until she came back, I knew she would come back. Glancing slightly at Yarraman as he spoke my name I nodded, than switched my gaze back to the new mare. Why was she looking at me like that? A soft snort escaped me and my harks flickered back, kinked whipcord flowing along my hocks and over my haunches.
Adelina I nodded slightly in a half-hearted manner, obviously I was distracted with the way she kept her unblinking gaze on me, like I had something on my face. Quickly my pink tongue swipped around my muzzle and came away clean, so no, I had nothing on my face. Glancing up to Yarraman I begged to ask the question of why she was looking at me that way, but I kept my voice silent, breath rolling out of my expanded narels as a cloud of fog.

I should care less on what the little runt's name is. It doesn't matter to me, I hissed towards Yarraman, snapping back my dome in disgust at the thought. It seemed all he expected out of me was my attitude, wasn't that right? So, I guess I could never be at peace with it now that you want to poke and prod it out of me. Alright, two can play at that game - get ready for me to explode.
Radon. I had twisted out without so much a glare at the colt. My gaze had locked on the brute that had been my king, my auditories were slicked back against my slender crest as my periwinkle glitters never blinked nor moved off of him. Was it a challenge? Oh, please take it as a challenge. It'd be fun to fight, maybe it would earn me some much needed respect to not be treated like dirt around her. Maybe even be favoured by him in the queen running?

As the mare spoke my thorns lay back, and my temper rose and I snapped at the wench. Did I not just tell you that in this terra you need to respect all equines? That was one of my only rules. I would have a strong herd and to achieve that I must have inner peace. Any equine that was disrespect full would pay the consequence, but I would give this wench a warning. But one more slip up like this and she would be out of the running for queen. My gaze did not falter as the mare seeked it. I met her gaze my blue orbs filled with warning. It would not be wise for her to pick a fight, especially since she was so new. I would back down wench before you make a big mistake. Vocals where deep and dark. Adelina, was going to lose the respect that she had gained. Perhaps she was unhappy about something already? Well, she should just tell me had I not told her that I would listen to her? Giving her one last look of warning I looked too Radon as I had felt his gaze. His orbs held a question in which I could not answer. But I was sure as hell going to find out. Adelina if you do not care what the youngsters name is then why where you just looking at him in that manner?

Lips curled back to let my ivorns show throw as a mild threat, I had not been in the best of moods to be shoved around. Such respect inside the herd when he did not give it, he shouldn't recieve it. But I was in the terms of being queen so I had to keep a low profile in order to keep that running.
For a moment I threw my head back and towards my rump in an ignoring gesture as I let my hooves dig farther into the earth, my bodice crow-hopping to playfully bash into his side before I had let my tendons click together in a brisk trot. Maybe he'd leave me alone for a while.. muse is dead, bear with me.

radon Watch it.. My harks twisted around violently as the two older adults argued, and I could only stepped away, if there was a fight, I didn't want to get in the middle of it, but it seemed that the mare had backed away, and that there would be no fight, for now. As the mare left, I cocked my head at her, before glancing back to Yarraman, and shrugging, she was a wierd one no doubt. Go, fallow her. Find the reason she was looking at you so hungerly. Now! The voice basically screamed at me and caused me to step sideways with a hard burst of carbon, but yet, I complied.
Uhh, Adelina? I choked on my own words, not so used to hearing my own voice as much in the open as in my head, but I would have to get used to it, no doubt. Seemingly without my own consent my tendons clicked and I advanced after the much larger mare, my harks twisting forward now, to listen for any threatening manners from this mare, but her posture seemed to make me stop completely, and look from her back to Yarraman in a puzzled manner, before just shaking my head and trotting back to the King of the grounds.
