Tolko jumps over a log and swiftly canters happy to be free, to be alone, and to be light! He snorts as he bucks and his chocolate whipcord goes up in the air. His silver lanterns search the forest for any equines that might be near. He then gallops around the meadow and enjoys being in the sunlight. When he has this out of his system he snorts and starts to graze. His scullery drops to the ground as he snorts when the cold dew drops touch his velveteen nose. Seemingly for no reason he squeals and slashes his whipcord laying his ears flat against his head. He turns to look at his side and notices a small cut darn horse flies they cant seem to leave me alone. He snorts again and swishes his long whipcord from left to right then he flicks it up and it touches the white blanket across his withers. He does not know why he was given such odd coloring but he knows that he is meant to be a Light Stallion and he will serve them the best that he can. Tolko once again canters around the field and he rolls in the grass carefully washing out the cut from the horsefly. He scents the air for the first time coming from this mountain range but the mist is heavy and he cannot smell anything. He turns his back to the forest and carefully picks more flowers up into his powerful maw.

Through the fire and flames we carry on Winter was pleasent this year, although snow still covered the ground in some places, the sun always seemed to shine through the white clouds, well in the north lands anyways. I dreaded to think what it would be like it the south, well, prehaps the darks would be used to it. Snorting as i walked under some low hanging branches and the snow fell gently onto my back, i shivered, but continued my slow stroll through the lands, climbing higher as i continued my journey. Nares widened, black coat rippled, muscles itching to move faster, as a scent of another carried on the wind to my nares. Snorting softly, i pounced up into a trot, and slowed again as he came into veiw. There i stood, hidden by trees and brushes, watchin this stallion play, he seemed so happy, content, and i was curious of his reason for being here. Again, i snorted loudly, and walked forward, out of the trees and walked forward to him, my black eyes watched him with curiousity.

Tolko snorts as he listens for any sounds…. There! A soft snort floats past his ear. Tolko is suddenly alert and he listens for any more sounds. He pads on full moons carefully towards where he heard the sound knowing that at any moment he might be attacked. Tolko snorts once again and he shakes his head waiting for the other horse to approach. He thinks that it is possibly a stallion but he is not sure. He walks two steps forward and calls out in a strong voice “Hello, is anyone there? I am Tolko a light stallion.” He nickers softly and bends his neck in a true Warmblood arch to show the other equine that he heard that he is not afraid. He flings his head up and whinnies a long high pitched whinny and his forelock lifts off of his eyes so that his silver lanterns may look without being disturbed by his heavy forelock. “I know that you are there Show yourself!” He demands as he rears high into the air.

Through the fire and flames
I watched him, looking curious and smirked, stepping out of the trees, becoming visable. Watching him rear, a light laugh escaped my black maw. Walking forward to greet him, i spoke, vocals came across strong, however, i was of no threat. Calm yourself Tolko. I worded him I am Montè; of The Forgotton Valley, also, a light stallion. what brings you here? I asked, curious myself.
I backed away from him, giving him some space, to some, i came across quite bold, some would say a dark equine, infact, for my black pelt seemed to loom upon the others. I smiled at him, lowering my maw to pick up some winter herbs that surrounded us. The day was coming to an end, the sun began to fall from its place in the sky, and light droplets of snow began to fall from the white clouded sky.
