Spring was nearly over, therefore, a brief trip to Lilac Woods was in need. As promised, to both Arian and Renegade, i would return to see my grandchild, and here i was, coming up to the border of the territory; as i did last time, i broke into a swift trot and broke through the barrier into the land. I would not wait for him to smell my stench and come to 'collect' me and 'escort' me through his lands, no. He didn't have that power.

My scarred body, lit with a pelt of fire moved freely through the lands, here, no thorn bushes, ravens or tree roots attacked, here, birds chirped, free and sweet, butterflies and other discusting insects fluttered around me, raising my temper. A harsh fli9ck of my red cord seemed to warn the bugs away, and i continued my journey through Lilac Woods, my black eyes focused on the point ahead, a meadow, it was small and secluded, perfect for grandfather and grandchild to have their first meeting. I let out a low call for arian and Renegade to come, slowing from a trot to a swaying walk, then to a halt near a small cluster of about three trees, i lowered my muzzle and helped myself to some shrubs, they were much nicer and lush here, as the winter had killed off most food in Hollow Woods, and many other dark lands.

Nothing is True

The chestnut pinto fae was busy grazing in her land while her beautiful red roan daughter had finally went to sleep, for once she had peace, and not chasing after the little filly that had want to have some fun and running around. Then her chestnut auds flicked forward hearing a call that she knew but had not herd for a while, and she knew why he was here. Trotting back over to where she had left her daughter hidden, lowering her crown and nudging her beautiful red roan daughter, while she nicked to her aswell. Turning her pinto body around towards the call from her farther, she did a slow trot toward where his call was coming from, when he was in sight she slowed her gait down to a walk, and when she was close enough she halted. Hello Father.

Kalypso

I was in a dreamland where everything was perfect I could see everything what was going on, and chasing butterflies and anything that moved. Feeling the nudge from my mother, I noticed that I had a little more vision in my eyes, which I could tell some of the colors now. I followed my mother towards someone. I then noticed that the movement of her hooves had stopped, I then walked forward standing just in front of my mother. I then looked up to where I knew my mother had spoke to the one who stood in front.

Arian thought he saw the chestnut ruler of the world, Chaos. He forced the thick brambles blocking his view. Yes, it was him. The gray cantered over and stopped a fathom away from him respectfully. And Chaos was meeting his and Rene's child. Kalypso. Her cataracts were almost completely gone!
Good to meet you again, Chaos. he murmured quietly. And you too Rene. He stroked Renegade's neck affectionately. Arian wondered how the ruler of the world would take to the filly, one of his grandkids.
The warm breeze stirred the banners of the equines. It warned of the impeding summer, which would be a hot one.

It wasn't long before Rengade came into veiw, with a colt tottering along, by her side. Things were somewhat different here, foals seemed like foals, not miniture demons in the making, like they did back at hollow woods, i could now, just about put up with the place, as i was getting more accustamed to it. My red cord flicked at a butterfly, that touched my rump, my harks tipped back at the creature and i snorted. Giving Renegade a smile as she approched. Hello Renegade. I spoek proudly, reaching forward and touching her muzzle. Only after our greeting, did i look down at the colt, Hello there colt; i am Chaos, your grandfather. I spoke to him ,my voice was low, with a dark hint in there. Whats your name? I asked him, curious.

Not long after the introduction, Arian entered the meadow, i gave him a nod. I was only ever 'nice' to him when i was in his lands, well he was a mate of my daughter, he had to have some respect, however, i wouldn't let him stand in the way of me ruling the world. Morning, Arian I said, again, in a low tone. Arian, do tell me, is it only you and Renegade and the young one here? Or do you have others? I asked him, again, my curious side kicking in.

Renegade
feeling the nudge from her farther Renegade, it was a little strange of her to see her farther out of Hollow Woods, and into a different land, and her home. chestnut auds flicked backwards a little hearing the word colt. Then her blue and brown colored odds gave a look as if saying, I would not of said that.

Kalypso
I looked up to the one who I heard that his name was called Chaos. I gave a loud snort when I my foal auds heard that word colt. Looking at my grandfarther I could now just about almost see clearly. Well sir Chaos, if you are my grandfather, I would like you to get me right, I’m not a colt, but a filly! my vocals went, into a little annoyance that my own grandfarther had called me a colt. darn parents or should that be grand parent, can’t even get my gender right. my little banner flicked agasint her flanks lightly. Then my maw opened agasin, while my vocals came out, Also Sir Chaos, as my mother has not introduced me yet, I’m Kalypso. my also were not light they were just a little bit darker then my Renegade.

Arian was mildly startled at the curious question put to him, did he have others. Yessir, one more. came his low vocals; he didn't dare speak too loud in front of the one who ruled the world. The gray's mind recollected the image of that pretty, altogether shy mare he meant.
He listened interestedly to Kal's lyrics, she would have quite a bit of fire later on, when that filly'd grew up. And then Kalypso introduced herself. That was interesting. Interesting because of the darkish hint that Chaos passed on to her. Maybe, just maybe, some of that darkness would rub off onto Arian and he'd be more dark. What changes would that mean?

My audits tipped back when the young one spoke, i gave a little, yet dark chuckle. Licking once more at the wound on my shoulder. Her tone, was a little to 'grown up' and a sharp snort escaped my kissers. One can easily be mistaken, young one. I snapped, grinding ivories together. I glanced up at Renegade, she would have to teach this young girl how to act, like herself, not a 'gobby' angel. She would get nowhere in life if she was rude to equines she didn't know. As she spoke again, my audits remained tipped back. Well Kalypso, you must listen to what your mother tells you, do not disobay her in any way and you will go far, also, a word of warning; do not speak to me in that tone again. I have a very short temper; family, or not, it will not stop me from snapping at you. i told her, finishing with a flick of my dark red cord. renegade would be used to this sort of talk, living in Hollow Woods for two years did her good. but what would Arian think of the words i just spat out at his daughter.

When he spoke, cold eyes wandered over him, And where is this other, Arian? do you not get your herd together everytime there is a newcomer? I asked him, black eyes wide, with a chuckle, i turned back to my daughter, and grandaughter, waiting for replies from all three.

Cinderella trotted daintily through her new homeland, fine neck arched royally, banner flying in the wind. She would never exhibit this behavior in front of others, for fear of rejection. But alone, like she currently was, she let go and expressed her inner joy.

As if he appeared out of her thoughts, Cinder noticed Arian, her king. She smiled softly and transitioned into a smooth canter toward him, her movements pure poetry. Her mind focused on Arian, she was oblivious to the others. Had she noticed them, perhaps she would not have approached, but it was too late.

When she finally realized Arian wasn’t alone, she skidded to a halt gracefully, a lucky thing she was bred for grace, next to Arian, bumping him lightly. Her ears lay back in shame, and her formerly confident stance withered away into her normal fearful posture. She kept close to Arian, peeking through her silvery locks at the crimson stallion before her. The others present faded in the presence of the crimson brute.

She sensed that he was different from Arian, possibly dangerous. He was a handsome brute though, much like a stallion she had known, though he was most likely older than her. He was certainly different from her. She was intrigued but dared not look into his orbs too long. She instinctively sought shelter from Arian, her body inching closer. [/size]

Kalypso

My red foal auds flicked backwards hearing what my grandfather was saying to me. I gave my grandfather a look as if saying snap at me I’ll just snap at you, but I also did not now that I gave him a look that my grandmother had given him. turning my rump to my grand farther, I start walking forward towards closer to where my hungry tummy was leading me, I then mumbled underneath my breath git. I then ducked underneath my mummy while my maw gently was on her teat, while letting the warm milk go down my throat.
Coming out from underneath my mum, my auds flicked backwards, and when I heard move hooves coming. I looked at the new come, but then I turned my little foal crown back towards my grandfarther. My pillars then moved me back in front of my mother, Well Sir Chaos, since you are my grandfather, you must be old how old are you? my vocals were a little bit better then last time, but still held a dark hint there. My dark chocolate orbs looked right at my grandfather, after a little while of looking at him, I did have to admit that he was a great stallion, despite that he is a git, thinking that a little crept across my maw, and then I let out a ting giggle.

Renegade

Renegade chestnut auds flicked back when she hear new hooves upon the grass. Turning to look to see who it was, Rene knew that she would have to have a talk with Cinderella sometime. Turning her crown back towards her farther, I think farther, that Kal might have some of you in her. banner flicked agasint her flanks lightly. Cinderella does not need to be scared around here. Not even from my farther, well actually maybe him. Renegade still did not know why her mother left her in Hollow Woods to this day, and in a strange way Rene wanted to know why. She then stood and waited for a reply.

And she is here now. Cinder, this is Chaos. Chaos, this is Cinderella. Arian, not surprised to find Cinder inching closer, gave her a glance quickly. Chaos might mind her being light, but Arian liked Cinder immensely. She was shy, yes, but that might wear off, and sometimes shyness was a good thing to have.
The gray was not surprised at Chao's reprimand, and then amused at Kal's question. That was a bold, interesting thing to ask. What would be the ruler of the world's reaction, he couldn't guess. But Rene was right to think that Kalypso had some Chaos-ness in her genes.

Asnew hooves approched, my skull snapped towards the one coming, harks tipped back. She came clsoe to Arian, asif scared, and i smirked, i couldn't keep the darkness out anymore. As Arian introduced her, i stared at her, with cold black eyes. "She cannot introduce herself?" I snarled, licking my maw, i could sense she was scared, and shy, it was my job to take advantage of that.

As Kalypso spoke to me, after her drink, i chuckled in a dark tone "Not all grandfathers are old. I am ten, Kalypso, age doesn't matter, my soul is still young, and as dark as it was the day i was born." I told her, in a slightly harsh tone, if she wanted to play 'darks' i could easily give her a game. Glaring down at her, i then switched my gaze to Renegade and smiled at her comment. "Yes Renegade. Indeed, my gene has been carried on. she is a good filly, i must say, teach her well, like i taught you, and the others." I replied, nudging at her neck, before turning back towards Arian and this 'cinder'

Cinder didn’t know why, but when the crimson brute smirked as she moved closer to Arian and critsized the fact that she hadn’t introduced herself, her hackles raised. How dare he? She could tell by the look in his black eyes that he desired to prey on her, to put her down. Normally, Cinder would just let it happen, but this time for some reason, she wasn’t in the mood to deal with it. She could tell he was dangerous, but he could do nothing to her, considering she wasn’t alone nor was she his mare.

She flung her dainty head up, defiantly. “I am perfectly capable of introducing myself. My name is Dance with Cinderella for your information.” Her voice was steady and strong, to my surprise. Something about this stallion made her feel different, not like the rejected nobody of the past. “You are obviously Chaos.”She made sure to keep all emotion out of her orbs. He was getting under her skin, but she didn’t know why, and she wasn’t about to let him know that. Especially since it wasn’t in annoyance, that she knew.

She watched as he spoke to his granddaughter, revealing that he was the age of ten. Quite a bit older than her, but yet seemingly in his prime. His voice was harsh but she could see a slightly gentler side as he smiled at Renegade and nudged her.
As he turned back to Cinder and Arian, Cinder refused to look away from his cold eyes. She wasn’t afraid. Her confident side was just under the surface, and Chaos had brought it out.

Renegade
Nothing is True

Renegade was not used to getting touched like her farther was doing, well outside of Hollow Woods. She listened carefully to what he was saying to her. Renegade did not speak all she did was nod on what he had told her. chestnut then flicked backwards hearing Cinderella vocals, shaking her crown, which in turn caused her mane white mane neatly over her neck. Then she just stood there watching what her farther was going to do now that Cinder had spoke.


Kalypso
I half listen to what my grandfather was saying to me. I shook my little red roan crown. I then looked at my grandfather. I did have to admit that he was quite scary from such a small height was my own. I unlike my mum was not uncomfortable giving affectation, I then walked underneath my farther, and then gently and lovingly nudge his pillars. I then wondered for a little bit, before letting my pillars make my mind up for me, I then slowly walked right underneath Cinder, and gently and lovingly nudge her pillars, and then walked out from underneath her. Aunty Cinder? I then looked up at her and for once I noticed that I could actually see everything around me. I could see my mother, my farther, and Cinder and grandfather Chaos. My little foal banner flicked happily against my little foal flanks. I can see! I then trotted over towards my grandfather and gently nudge him, I then trotted back to stand right in front of my mother and farther.
