You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. Ah, so the famous Lilac woods was ahead. Already, sickening scents of sweet flowers blooming, even in the harsh winter weather reached my nares. My harks tipped back slightly in disagreement, i would of thought Renegade would of suited a darker, farsher realm. Never the less, i wanted to meet this chap who thought himself worthy of my daughters company. Not hesitating as i crossed the borderline into the land, i picked up an eaasy jog, jagged, at that, my muscles moved my body with ease, dark chestnut bod streamed though the trees and bushes with elegance, yet a rough look could be easily spotted. My figure was burnt with scars, from previous scraps, blood stained muzzle, due to a nasty slit down the right hand side was the newest to my collection. From the new mare in my herd, Anntho. Such a rascal she was. Thinking of her reactions made me chuckle, a low deep cackle. I stopped my movements, and called out for this 'Arian' fellow to come to me.

Arian stepped forward, startled. He had been resting since there wasn't much happening.
Yes, and who is there? Present yourself! he commanded.
He had no idea who it was. It was certainly a stallion's call. Whoever it was, though, he was ready. Arian spotted a scarred dark chestnut stallion on the other side of a wall of trees.
Hmm, what's he doing here?!
Arian galloped around the impediment and stopped two yards away from the chestnut. He got a better look at the stranger. This stallion looked about twice as old as Arian and stronger too. From the looks of body, he'd been through a lot, while Arian had not a single scar on himself.
Well, now you don't need to, because I have found you! He said, hoping the reason why the stanger was here was a good one. [occ: I know, it could have been better, but no time, sorry.]

Startled noises came from close by; and sure enough, the scent of a stallion was easily noticed. A sharp snort emitted from my flared nares as he galloped towards me, his fiorst words were of waste, for i had stepped out merely seconds after his words. I watched the brute gallop towards me, my harks twisted back slightly. didn't he know who i was? I was the darkest stallion to step upon the lands of Midnight Acres. To be approched with caution and loyalty, not to be charged at by some arrogent other who thinks himself worthy of my daughters company.
As he staggered to a halt, mere metres away from me. I bared my ivories, and snapped them shut, close to his muzzle, just as a warning. My harsh lyrics came out dark and twisted, as they always did, towards other stallions. Fool. Step back. Do not overcrowd me. My whipcord flickered iratbly at my hind, then kinked high into the air, showin off my pure arabian blood. I eyed this spotless stallion for a few minutes, in silence, nares opening more, eyes narrowed a little and jaw tight shut. Arian; surely my daughter has told you about me? Surely she had warned you about my extreme bad temper. Approch with caution, young one. I snapped. Stil, at a warning tone. Would he leran from his mistakes and apologise? His life depended on it.

Oh. So this is Rene's father?
I apologise. I didn't know who you were. Arian said as he quickly staggered back. Rene told me about you, but didn't mention that, about your temper.
Arian quickly stole a glance at his lavish surroundings and suddenly, felt embarrased at his terra. He hadn't thought about it before, but now it felt too femenine.
This land, Lilac Woods, was the only one unoccupied when Rene decided to come with me. he said, not sure if it was to comfort himself, or to make an excuse to be here. Here, Lilac Woods, the too girly- sounding place.

The brute spilled out his apology immediatly, but the frown on my face remained, only softened a little by his sorry's.Ah so Renegade had told him about me, but not my temper? I wasn't supprised, but surely, she would of known i would come to visit at somepoint.
Again, he started to spill out excuses for his land, obviously, he had picked up my discust for the place. I looked around the place, snorted and tossed my skull, then looked at him. Hmpf. Very well Brute. Prehaps you could show me around. A Rhetorical question, one that didn't need an answer, and if the answer happened to be a no, i would crush him.
I wanted to know everything about this land, it needed to be fit and safe formy daughter. Of course, now, she was at danger. Living with a new, unknown stallion in a neutral land, others would prehaps attack and kill. However, in the dark lands, most didn't survive for food and water, shelter and protection was at a little, unless you were claimed by a powerful stag who knew everyone, of course.

Arian was about to repond to Chaos' command, when suddenly a growl tore the air. Wolves! They, about 10 strong, were surrounding the two stallions. Arian charged at the nearest one, hoping to scare them away. He bit down hard on its leg and broke it, but not before the wolf scratched Arian in front his withers. The wolf ran away limping. Arian drove another, who was going to jump on him, away.
I hope they don't get near Rene. he muttered. The rest of the pack closed in on them. It would take courage to drive them away, real courage. He lashed out at them.

You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. Muscles flinched under my pelt and my jaw tightened as the unmistakeable scent of wolves came closer. Snorting, my harks curled backwards and forefeet lifted slightly off the ground. However, i did not flinch or start when they came forward. I simply watched Arain as he attmepted and suceeded an attack on what seemed to be the leader. As more began to circle, i merely stepped forward nad lowered my extended neck to their level in an almost snake like effort. Snarling, i bared ivories. Warning the beasts. Snorting again, i sidestepped and spun my figure around and kicked out harshly. hooves collidied with another and they seemed to back away and retreat to their dens. Turning to Arain, i chuckled, and glanced down at his small wound the leader wolf had left, I do beleive Renegade would be quite capeable of taking a few wolves down. I said smartly. Letting this other brute know that this attack was merely nothing to me. Far worse things happened in the darklands, and i was sure this Arain knew of nothing about them. I glanced at him again. Well Arain, this meeting has been...yes, well. I must be headin off back to Hollow Woods, feel free to drop by their if you need anything done or sorted. I told him in a rather demading tone. Snorting, i sidestepped and pranced into the direction i was heading and began a fast trot out of the lands.
