The mood - could i explain it? I almost felt depressed now. With word that Lakita wasn't just missing - but she was dead. Dead and gone and i hadn't had chance to say goodbye. A dark king or not - i still held them all important 'love' feelings and with my only true love gone, who did i have to fall back on? Of course i had my mares - and my new offspring to look forward to, but something inside me bugged at my brain. Perhaps i should take a break from hollow Woods - i hadn't quite decided. Chestnut frame slid elegantly through the tightly packed trees - my fluffy winter coat had at last began to fall out, leaving me looking like a half malting dog. It pained me to look 'scruffy' but atleaset i was well and alive - though not feeling to well.
Still tough - i managed to arch my muscular neck and let loose a mighty call for my old faithful mares to come for a meeting. It had been a while since i had seen them all together and i was rather excited about seeing my offspring. I gave a snort which was followed by a sharp gasp and a quick inhale as pain shot through and up my nose. The break has nursed itself back to health- my nose remianed slightly crooked but i was healed. However, cold breath was a shock to the new bones and i foun myself making a mental note to take it fairly easy for a year or so.

`anntho I moved forward at my own pace, despite the dark chestnut colt that raced to keep up with me. I only slowed when I heard a fimilar call. It was a summons from Chaos. I looked down on my young colt who had raced right past me and now was making his way back towards me slowly, his nose near the ground. I rolled my eyes at him and gave a low whuffing noise as I changed course to direct him the right way.
The chestnut stallion came into view soon enough, and I didn't hesitate in trotting right up to him and throwing my neck across his withers, placing a gentle nip on his opposite shoulder. Your son's coming shortly. I murmured gently, looking off into the distance to watch the chestnut dot get more defined the closer it got. Talk to him so he knows where you are.. I added as an afterthought in a still low voice.
[/blockquote] STREET I veered my course, fallowing the footsteps of my mother at a slow pace, muzzle hanging towards the ground to pick out rocks in my way that would make me fall over myself. My ears swiveled as I picked up my head, looking to the distance and the blurry blob that stood there. It had to be my mother. My course was altered slightly and I picked up my feet in a bouncy trot, the sun catching on my dark chestnut pelt. I was truly was, a creature of the night.
Too bad my sight sucked during the day. I slowed as I approached the blob, my head bobbing back and forth now that I smelt not only my mother but my father too. What would he think of having a son that was virtually blind during the day? Dad? I asked catiously, tottering forward a few more steps.

Amethea The wise old owl
Black pillars move across the ground in a lovely two beat towards the one who had called her. black orbs looked back towards where she had came from, making sure that her daughter was following, and indeed she was following. As the blue roan mustang mare gave a healthy body shake, which right all the way right down to her lovely long banner. Thea kept her speed up as she also kept a listen out for her red roan daughter, who was not very please to be woken up from her nap. Slowing her black pillars down when she was in sight, to a walk and she then came to a halt when I got close enough to see the chestnut stallion who I knew as Chaos. Hello Chaos. Meet Mira, and hello Anntho. my long black banner rest against my bluish colored flanks. Mira A Storm Brewing
I slowly followed right behind my mum, even after I got a look from her saying hurry up, I did not hurry up, because I was still tired, my black orbs were still half a sleep. my mum only stopped half way to let me have a warm drink of milk from her, and that was it. I had to go very fast, which I really hated doing. Finally when we stopped I noticed there was a chestnut stallion not far away from us, so this must be my farther. As my greyish maw opened as my vocals came out, Hello Dad. I walked right up and stood right next to my mum.

I sighed with sadness. I could smell all the new foals smells, their scents were so sweet and tangled together. I was still with Lustra and Blizzard. Lustra still in training for when he was old enough to fight, and Blizzard... well, just like her father. I was sad, as I was to old to breed. My legs had become weak with age and I was no longer necessary. I heard Lakita had passed. She would have been happy to see her son take the kings throne. I smiled as I slowly traveled, towards of a familiar call. It was always familiar. I shook my crown as I entered the greetings. Chaos was stood, as always, strong and bold, showing his dominance. Anntho and her new born had already arrived, so I dipped my head in greeting to both, yet secretly envying her for having another. Then Amethea came into view, with her spawn, and I dipped to her also. I stood on the sidelines, alone like normal. Well, normally I had my troublesome double with me, but they were busy, practising the moves their sire taught them a while ago. I held my head low and snorted a greeting at Chaos. I didn't really wish to speak to him. His partner, my friend, had gone. A rope which had tied us together had snapped. We hadn't really had a lot of time together. Lakita was probably why.

It wasn't long before i scented Anntho - my dappled companion. Nostrils quibered and i gave a whicker of hellos as she trotted up to me - throwing her head over my neck and nipping my shoulder. I gave a chuckle and arched my neck to bite at her left knee cap. "Hello Anntho. - Oh - " I stuttered at her words as a miniture version of myself walked close by and spoke. I reached my neck out to pull gently at his fluffy mane as he hadn't quite got the right route. "Hello son. Are you okay?" I asked, now perfectly comftable around my children. In my younger days i had been distant and bad tempers - now thins were different and although i missed the 'king' life, this was pretty good too. I glanced over at anntho, taking two steps towards her to nudge her neck. "thankyou" I whispered, licking at her coat.
I turned my skull around slowly as i scented more approching and again i gave a whicker to Thea as she approched with a slightly older looking filly at her knees. I walked forward to embrace her and ducked my skull down to see my newest daughter. "Hi there, whats your name?" I asked her, nipping at her delicate skin and snorting into her tail. A steady beat of hooves could be heard about the breatrhing in the small clearing and my head shot up and the ebon mare came into veiw - again, my whiiny was delightful and i rushed greatly to her side, embracing her in such a strong hold "Eris ! My i thought you had vanished - i've missed you greatly" I admitted, looking away. it was true, Eris was the first mare to walk with me over the lands of Midnight Acres, she was so special to me. "How are Lustra and Blizzard?" I wanted to ask about Chantelle soon, but i knew it would only anger her.

`anntho As he stepped away from me to redirect his son I watched and then looked away to drop my head, taking mouthfuls of summer grasses, and the occasional herb that I came across and felt that I could use, what with having a growing colt who drank like a tanker truck sometimes. I felt Chaos's tongue on my coat and my ears slide sideways, an low chuffing noise given in an affectionate response. He didn't need to thank me for carrying his spawn and being considerate enough to not ship the little shadow off to Thea for hours of the day as I ghosted around Hollow Woods with nothing to do.
Now that I think about it, I think I will be a mother to Street. After all, I did carry him around for a whole winter, and most of the spring. Tell your Father, Street. He won't disown you. I encouraged in a quiet voice, having lifted my muzzle enough to avoid mumbling into the grass. My eyes flashed to Chaos, and then back to Street, before up to Thea as she arrived. Hello Thea. Doing well? I asked, picking my head up completely and heading towards her with a long stride just as Eris arrived. It had been a while since I had seen her or her kids. I nodded my head in her direction, giving a soft noise of greeting, but not exchanging words.
[/blockquote] STREET I stumbled a few steps in the correct direction, accepting the help my Father had offered. Even if he had pulled my fluffly little mane to get me there. My head turned as I heard new horses arrive and my Father leave. I gave a soft snort and flicked my small tail at my haunches, chasing flies off of my fuzzy coat. I then looked back for my Mother, and when I couldn't disinguish her from all the other spots, I just started towards the one that looked the biggest, and the closests and I manged to get it right.
My head ducked under her stifle, and I nursed peacefully until she spoke up. The words made my ears fall backwards, and a my lips twitched at the corner like I wanted to snarl. Fine I responded, a cocky edge to my voice. I pivoted away from her, licking my lips, inhaling as I did so. I found the musky aroma of my Father and headed towards it, only to end up passing right underneath his haunches. I stopped as I cleared on the other side, a confused expression coming onto my face. Dad? I questioned again, though not in a catious hello this time. In a where-the-hell-are-you kind. It took me a minute to figure out that he was right behind me with another mare who didn't have a foal with her. Oh. There you are. I got something to tell you. My expression became rather torn as I weighed the choice of just lieing or actually telling the truth and seeing his reaction. Telling the truth won out. I'm pretty much blind during the day, Dad. Though I can see fine..well, better than my Mom at least, at night. I muttered looking down before back up to the dark spot that had to be my Dad's head.

Amethea The Wise Old Owl
As the beautiful old blue roan mare listened to the different lyrics going on around her, she then watched as she saw the chestnut brute walked towards me beautiful red roan daughter. As I saw Eris came into view I gave a little nod because I was to busy thinking of what my daughter had been up to, and before and body knew that I was keeping a weird secret from them. As I heard Anntho vocals my blackish maw opened and my lyrics came out, Indeed I’m doing fine, apart from this little girl trying to wear me out. I was not much of a talker but I would not say I was shy, I only talked when other spoke to me and never spoke without beginning asked something. Mira A Storm Brewing
Auds flicked back and forth listening to everything that was around me, I heard my mother give me name out yet again, I lifted my right fore pillar up and pawed the ground a little angrily, towards me mum. I then saw the chestnut brute who was my farther, and then he asked me my name, I did answer cause I got a look from my mum. My name is Mira. as he rushed of to meet the new mare that had come in, I then mumbled my lyrics Deaf git. I was not that bothered if anyone had heard me at all. I also wondered what would Droja do to my mum, about that she also knew that she knew my mum’s secret.

A surprised alarm rang into my auds, yet I was stood staring at the children. He'd notice surely. I slowly turned my head to him and smiled smally. I guess you thought wrong then sir. And I doubt you missing me is right, for your would miss any of your mares had you not seen them in so long. I said, strongly. I turned my head slightly, cocking it to look at the cheeky daughter of Neveah. I heard the alarm of Chaos once more and I eyed hin carefully. I have hardly seen them. Blizzard visits me sometimes to give me full updates on her brother. She's... a taddle. If her brother does one thing wrong, she will rush to someone and tell them quicker than thinking. I laughed, with a delightful squeal. Then, I calmed myself by sighing and looking at the children again.

My attention was brought back to Anntho as she spoke to our son - Street she called him. I smirked, i liked it, she had good taste in names - well all of my mares did, being around me influenced them a little i presumed. I turned my skull to glare at Street - awaiting an answer, and when he spoke i nodded and smirked, allowing a small laugh to come from my lips - not everything could be perfect of course, but street was fantastic as was Mira, and my other offspring. "I would never of guessed - son." I stated with sarcasm. But none the less i gave him a quick nudge of thanks for being brave. "It will be better for you - to hunt and train through the night - more dangerous and you will need to watch yourself more. You'll learn fast street." I stated, keeping my large black optics on him throughout the speech. I smiled and turned to anntho - she would no doubt teach him well too, being a nurse slash fighter of course.
I quickly turned back to my daughter as she spoke and smiled "No mira - not deaf, just interested in everything that is going on around me." I winked at her and then stepped forward to stand next to Thea - her blue roan coat shone nicely in the rays that filtered through the trees. Eris spoke, and one hark laid back. Did she not know how special she was to me?! I gave a snrot and stepepd forward to her. "Of course Eris, all of you mean diamonds to me - but still i tend to painc when your not around." I stated, smiling. "Ah, tell lustra we are about due a visit - Blizzard comes to me from time to time - shes strong, growing up fast, the princess." I chuckled licking at my maw - i looked from the mares to see if any would start up a conversation - it was always me that did it.
