taking relatively small steps forward the silver painted mare made her way through the lands without a care. this place was new to her, seeing as she was completely new to midnight acres, it was in her best interest to see everything she could possibly see and meet everyone that passed her trail. being as silent as a mouse the small banshee weaved throughout the small forestry, slipping her elegant form through the slender trees until she had completely arrived at a small pond in the center of a meadow. raising her head a small snort was given before she sucked in a breath, taking with it the scents of the land she had arrived in, just in case there was danger around or if she was unwanted here. sliding her ears back into white webs she took cautious steps forward, nose thrusted out to catch any new scents that came along with the breeze until she halted at the bank of the pond, dipping her lips into the cool water and taking a hearty drink.
only then was her attention divided by a butterfly and a few tweeting robins that fluttered around her cranium, begging her to play or atleast sing along with them. at first the tennessee walker shook her head, trying to shoo away the animals with a soft sigh of contentment, but they still continued to harrass her space until she finally gave in. along with the excited tweets of the birds was her girlish giggle, following along at a slow yet graceful walk. "wait up, beauties ! don't leave me behind," melodic tunes echoed throughout. robins twirled in the air and dove towards her, picking up little strands of hair with their tiny feet and guiding her to a place unknown - which of course she wouldn't follow. "come on [ ESMERALDA ] don't miss out on the fun!" they tweeted happily.

I was troubled. Very much so. The time i had spent with the dark horse - Sohalia made me wonder greatly if the darks had been given false accusations. She was scared, genuine. She smelled dark - the scent she brought with her made me shy away - however, there was potential there and i was so willing to help her over come her fears - help her get back on her feet. My silver based frame flickered gently in the sumemr breeze - today was the first summer day with a breeze. Al lthe others had been so unbearable it was almost chaotic. I had shelter in my land - plenty of everything - the south which in the winter months was normally flooded was now beginning to dry up - i scowled at the thought. Sure we had the trickling stream near the small woods, but it ment we couldn't swim in the icy depths to cool ourselves. I gave a snort as i made my way north. The fresh breeze bringing a new scent to my nostrils. Lips quivered and i picked up a jagged trot - being sure not to go faster so i didn't do further damage to my broken ribs - they would heal soon, and i would be perfectly healthy again. I had to admit - it was a real pain ubt the battle had to be done - otherwise where would i be now? Where would my lovely mares be without a home? Captured somewhere? Feeding off stumps of grass?
I shook my head, not wanting the hear the thoughts - and consentrated on finding the new mare i scented. It didn't takeme long as i had studied the lands hard when i hadn't been able to travel far and i soon located her, near the smaller of the two woods. My head was raised, ears perked forward and my gait now flowing. I slowed and ducked my head down in a welcome gesture before coming to a halt close enough to speak. "Hello there miss - i'm Ketamine, the king of Elixar Grove. What brings you to my lands, dear?" I asked, licknig at my muzzle to remove the pollen. I gazed at her, mesorised almost by her patterned pelt - but it wasn't as unusaul as mine. Silver based - with black legs upto the knee joint, from there, small rings up to my shoulders, around my eyes - there were bird catcher spots, and my ears and muzzle were the same shade as my lower legs. I smiled at her, nodding again, just to make sure she knew i was no threat.

Following the cardinals and blue jays she swiftly cleared a few fallen trees to keep up the pace, landing her gaze on the flittering birds above her head. They were leading her deeper and deeper into the land she had stumbled across, and to be honest she didn't know what to do if she came across someone else. She didn't know if she was welcomed here or not, but she kept her gaze upon them and of course on the path they were leading her on. "Wait up!" She whickered, pushing her limbs harder and surpassing the little birds, who tweeted in suprise. She was quite the runner, they'd have to admit, but of course they wouldn't tell her that. Swinging around she faced the opposite direction, her ears suddenly pricked forward and a look of concern on her facade. Someone was coming and she still had no idea what to do. In a calming gesture the cardinal landed on her poll while a few blue jays landed on her neck, tweeting curiously.
A stallion, duh. This was someone's land. She suddenly felt shy, ducking her head into her chest and letting her ears fall to their resting places, keeping chocolate gaze on the approaching bronco. Once he had reached her his head lowered in a welcoming gesture. Hello there miss - I'm Ketamine.. Ketamine? That was an odd name, but she liked it none the less. She let a small smile run across her lips before she spoke. "I'm Esmeralda. I hope I'm not intruding, I'm just looking for a place to stay." She told him, a hopeful look in her eyes.

My gaze remained steady on the painted fae and i couldn't hold back the smile , she truely was amazing to look at! I gave a soft chuckle when she lowered her crown - obviously greatly sorry for intruding. I stepped forward to place my muzzle under her chin, bringing it back up again to the correct level. "Don't be sorry dear esmeralda. Its completely understandable." I smiled, and nuzzled at her chest, taking a few steps back so she had her own space. I didn't want to scare her off. I ducked my crown to itch my leg and brought it back up to gaze into her blue eyes. "your more than welcome to stay here if you like?...theres a few more mares around the grove. I'm sure you will fit right i." I nickered at her and glanced around the lands - none of the other females were around. Perhaps they were over by the waterfall in the east - where the woods were. It was nice there in fall, warm and very relaxing. A fresh breed made me look back at esmeralda - of course, she would be in heat. But i quickly ignored that fact. I didn't want to push her into breeding this early on - unless of course she was fine with it.
