e.c.ho My dark eyes flashed around widly for the little colt who had been fallowing me. He had suddenly disappeared; I had only closed my eyes for a moment to rest, and then I opened them, the leggy grey foal was missing. My hindlegs became rooted to the spot as I pivoted around in a complete 180, narels wide and ears up stiffly. My mind suddenly became my worse enemy, bringing up the 'what ifs' of what could of happened to him. He was only a baby after all. Havoc? I called in a strangled voice.
My ears suddenly twisted on the sound of a dried twigs cracking. My body lurched forward towards the sound without my consent; the maternal instinct fueling my need to find my spawn. I pushed my way through the briars, ignoring the sting as they tore at my chest, not caring that I left a direct path to me, or that I was loud enough to wake the dead. I slide to a direct halt; my haunches rolling under me, forcing me to take a step forward to redistribute the weight evenly. I cast about my gaze for the colt, but I didn't find him. I found a noisy squirrel, scavaging the grounds.
A snarl creased my lips as I lunged for the tree rat, snatching it up by its tail in a blind rage. I flicked my head sideways fiercly, unhinging my jaw in the process to send the squirrel flying off into the open. The vermin was unharmed though, because he scurried off up the tree, chattering insults moments after he crashed against the hard ground. My ivories gnashed together as I exhaled heavily to rid my narels and teeth of the hair from the squirrels tail; sides heaving violently as I made no attempt to slow my noisy breathing or racing heart.
[/blockquote] Havoc I cackled at my own cunning. Mother had drifted asleep and so I had snuck off to explore my new home. Maybe I'd find my Father while I was at it. Mother had told me that he was a silver like me. My stumpy tail gave a little wiggle as I weaved my way further into the dense underbrush; lame on one side where I was lacking knee action from my fall only moments after birth. I had been so sure I mastered my long, dark legs and then I had a humliating defeat at the hands of a rock. I arched my neck stubbornly, proving to any onlookers that I did indeed hold arabian in my blood, as well as my parents attitudes.
Havoc? My ears turned backwards as I heard my Mothers voice calling out for me, but I didn't stop and turn around. She'd be fine without me there to protect her from all the bad things in the world. I didn't have the time to run around and play nursemaid to every mare and stallion alike that couldn't handle themselves. I relaxed the muscles in my neck, returning it to a level, comfortable position. Maybe I should go back, she sounded pretty upset. I craned my neck around, making like I was going to head back to my dam, but then I heard something come crashing through the growth. My ears flattened aggressivly, my eyes flashing in the low light, expecting something to jump out at me, but it only turned out to be my mother.
I didn't approach her when she stopped, partially because I didn't want to be the next thing she threw around like that little squirrel seconds ago. I reamined stock still in my place, relazing that she obviously couldn't see me, and I must of picked up an earthy scent on my fuzzy foal coat, because it looked like she couldn't smell me either.

INTREPID
Don't forget to breathe slow... black opticals scanned the area, nostrils quivered at the fresh scents that drifted through the woods on the spring breeze, i had scented Thea and her new filly, i hadn't yet seen the pair but no dout would soon enough, at the herd meeting, although my father would proberly hold a private meeting for his special mares.Muscles flinched under my silver based pelt and i gave a snort, tossing my skull and giving a high buck before lunging forward into a flowing trot, only to stop seconds later as a flash of silver burst through the tightly packed trees. Audits pressed against my poll and my lip curled into a snarl as i stepped forward. I pounced forward to the place i saw the flash but soon gave a snort of disaproval as i found nothing in sight. But then i heard clattering in the distance and charged forward, almost 'bull-mannered' my cranium lowered, harks back and legs pounding underneath me. I sound caught sight of the silver flash again and continued charging towards it, only to realise it was Echo. But it was too late then. A low squeal parted from my lips as a warning but i was travelling too fast. Although i had gathered my legs underneath me to preform a sliding stop, but still my body collided with hers at a fast pace, so much i winded myself and stumbled, legs tangling with hers and sending me down on my front end into a gravelled ditch. Steadying myself with my hinds, i soon brought myself back up. A sweat had formed on my dappled silver pelt and i snorted loudly, eyes rolling and audits pinned back as pain seered through my two fore-knees. Small pieces of dirt, dust and gravel stuck to the thick blood that oozed out and i tossed my skull, rearing to half height at my own stupid actions. My head shook vigorously and my vision blurred, a symptom of another fit, however, soon it faded, wrestled with my mind in the background. And i became focused on Echo ,the dappled mare. Walking towards her and pulling at her mane. "Are you okay?" I asked her, breathing out deeply, and on the inhale, shock took over my body. The light sweat began to foam around my neck, my girth and hind legs. I gave a snort and my black opticals widened as i rapidly glanced around to look for the one thing i scented. I gave a panicked look over to Echo and my jaw grinded my teeth together as i let out a bellow for my son. My vision being blurred made it real hard to focus on my surroundings, i scented him so close, but i couldn't see him and it almost frightened me that my first son could be watching me totally freak out and run off like Phoenix did. I took a few steps forward and shook my skull once more, my vision perfecting and the crazy thoughts and pictures fading to the back of my brian, the fit had submerged for now, well until something else weird popped up. "Son?" I called out, walking another few steps forward and spotting a hint of dark silver. A spurt of butterflies began erupting from my stomach as i curled my sleek arabian neck around to face my special mare. "He's in here" I murmered, licking at my dry muzzle and motioning him to step out. e.c.ho The warning had been pieced together too slowly in my mind. My head whipped around as he caught me at the haunches, unsteadying me. I remained upright though until our legs tangled, and then I fell, rolling down onto my side ungracefully. I writhed on the ground in what looked like bucks and rears, but I was really scrounging for my footing. Finally I had righted myself enough to rise slowly, shooting a look at Intrepid as he reared and carried on. My sides still heaved in heavy breathing as I gasped at the air, trying to refill my lungs from there winded state. By the time he had come to question me and tug at my mane, I was breathing easily; ignoring the twinge from a place on my rib where I had landed on a stone, and coincidentally, Havoc had kicked me the morning before he was birthed.
Suddenly my eyes popped out of my head as I remembered why I had been so torn and angry. No! I'm not alright! Havoc's missing! I screeched, bumping into him as I plow into the bracken on the opposite side of him; not noticing the signs his own distress at the fact his son was missing as well. My ears fell back on him as he bellowed for the boy, making me pause in my searches, opening that the ever curious Havoc would come to his Father's call. The colt had told me himself he wanted to meet his sire. My heartbeat spiked again and my sides heaved; a cold sweat breaking out across my withers and poll.
He's in here The words made my stomache flip and I was immediately at my companions side, staring up at him and then down at the point he had been looking at moments ago. My heartrate slowed considerably, my sides returning to a normal rise and fall as adrenaline flooded out of my body as the stress of the situation died down. My little boy was alright, and Intrepid was calm again.
[/blockquote] Havoc The noise of the collision made me flinch inwardly, but the call of my Father made me stagger backwards a step. Before I knew what happened I was pitched headlong, my black legs having gotten tangled up. I rolled over once before I bumped into my Father's dark grey legs which forced my silver body to a stop. My green eyes widened as I peered up into my Father's black ones. I could see where I had gotten my silver colour and black main, tail and legs from. Now that I saw my parents standing side by side, I realized I was the perfect mix of them both. Hello Father. I greeted in a sweet, innocent voice; a crooked grin gracing my muzzle as I tried to evade the worst of any reprimands I might of gotten for escaping my Mother.
Carefully I rolled over, propping my stiff knee out to one side, the other front leg folded under me. I pushed my haunches up first; unfolding my flexible front leg to stand myself up in a shaky stand. My frame quivered with the strain on my new muscles until I could work my damaged leg underneath me to help lift the rest of my weight. I wiggled my black tail as I headed over to my Mother, ducking my head beneath her stifle to nurse, ignoring her jump when I my muzzle touched her. I would never understand why she jumped everytime I nursed off of her, but by now I was used to it. Though, the first few times I had ducked under her, she didn't really 'jump' but more of flinched. She must of gotten stronger since that time.
I shrugged my shoulders in response to my own thinking as I backed away from my Mother, licking a few drops of sweet milk off of my lips. Now that I had a full stomache I swaggered around my dam's front to rear infront of my Father, resting my knees on his chest and brushing my muzzle against the underside of his muscular neck. I'm gonna be as big as you someday. Right Daddy? I asked, pushing at his neck again, fascinated by how much more solid his muscles were than my Mothers were in her neck. It never occurred to me that the reason his neck was much more muscled than most horses was because of his breed and how well they could arch there necks. The pain in my knee had left from the roll I had taken moment before. The wound returning to its normal state of just being something to hinder me, rather than hurt me.
[[comments;; Hah. Havoc is such a cutie]]

INTREPID
Don't forget to breathe slow... I soon felt the warmth from Echo's body as she bumped up against me not a second after i had spotted him. I passed her weak smile and gave a low snort, nostrils quivering afterwards, taking in his fresh foal scent. A small rustle came from the 'den' and before i knew it, a miniture version of myself had burst out of the bushes at my legs. Still alarmed by the minor fit i spooked, tail kinking high in the air as i pushed off my hinds away from him and Echo in a tight circle, tossing my skull again but soon calming as i nuzzled at Echo's shoulder, breathing slowly to calm myself further. When he spoke my brow furrowed a little and teeth grinded together. "Why did you run from your mother, Havoc. It was very unwise to preform such actions soon after your birth. This place is not safe for a young and unexperienced colt like yourself." I scolded, tone serious and deep. Very demanding as it held such power. Opticals narrowed as i glared down at my son, awaiting an answer from him. I dark pools followed him as he ducked under the mare to nurse. I noted how she flinched and i frowned once more, gazing at her with a questionable look on my cranium. When he walked over to me; nostrils quivered once more and i took one step back, uncertain aobut him coming near me. But of course it was my job and duties to care for my own spawn, and no matter what my bipolar threw me through, i would make sure no harm came. I remained still as he touched me, resisting the voices in my head, tellnig me to back aay from him. Muscles flinched when his tender muzzle touched at my muscular neck and i gave a low cough before i replied to his words. "Uh- of course, son. Yes, you will be." Did i really want him to turn out like me? An insane monster with a passion for killing every living thing? Of course i wanted him to be dark and cunning but i hoped he hadn't inherited the disease i un-proudly owned. e.c.ho I nibbled at Intrepid's withers, soothing him as I realized how nervous he was about having a son, and that's when I realized that Havoc was his first son, he'd only had two daughters. My ears came up and I leaned onto the silver stallion, a heavy sigh leaving my lips. I ducked my head under his and reached to my son that was on his chest, thrusting the colt on his forehead to make him drop the contact he was putting up. Listen to your Father. Don't goof around while your being punished. I snapped in a firm tone, giving him a hard look before lifting my head again and dropping it across Intrepid's withers, another heavy sigh leaving me.
[/blockquote] Havoc I gave a grunt of protest as I was shoved off of my Father. I landed lightly and arched my neck defiantly, my short tail flipping around behind me in aggitation. My young uncle Street was aloud to run around without his Mother fallowing him, and he was aloud to run at night. I was curious, but I won't run off anymore, not until I'm bigger. I answered in a low tone, looking away from them altogether and into the spot I had just been at, memorizing it for later use.
I turned back to my Father and Mother, sighing as I realized I was defeated and the best thing I could do now was take a nap. I tottled off a few steps and let my spindly legs fold up under me, dropping my silver carcass to the ground. I gave one last look at my parents, and then my eyes sunk shut, my breathing evening out and my little body going limp in a peaceful sleep.
