M A R G I R I T A
So what? I'm still a rock star
So what if I lost the battle against Amira, Queen of Zion Desert. I still had Indigo, Maybe he would like me if I flirted with him a little. After all, I am the queen's adviser or second in command. I wanted to know if she trusted me or even liked me? I felt dizzy after that battle, I was attacked pretty hard by the pregnant mare. I approached the king, Indigo, As I trotted forward, Trying to keep myself from falling over or fainting from feeling so dizzy. I grinned and batted my eyelashes at him as I walked over to his left side and got pretty close to him. "You called?" I asked him, Grinning at him as I swished my tail, Hitting his flank and batting all the flies away from my rump. I wondered if he even liked me anymore, If he even liked me from the start. He probably didn't even like me from the start after I had to go right ahead and challenge his queen because I was just so gad damn power hungry.

I trotted along, I had herd a call that was intended for me and some others. I had taken upon a friend, a little loan robin, I was nursing his broken wing back to health so one day soon he could fly with his buddies in the sky but some were I knew he would return. Some may wonder were this little bird sat, well he sat in between my harks perched there, we had worked out a little system so I knew when he wanted down and up.
I crossed into his land there was a dramatic change in the land, it turned to desert in a matter of seconds, I snorted this would take awhile to get use to. I trotted now toward Indigo my white wavy banner dragging in the sand, making it get all dirty, I snorted I hated being dirty, I reached him and another mare, hello Indigo you called? Oh and do you have some water and worms for my little friend my nursing him back to health you see. I hoped he did not think of me as a freak for nursing a bird back to health but I did not care, I silently waited for him to answer.

Why was this mare even here? She was to be considered a wolf among lambs. This land, neutral though it’s title was, it was far from the darkness that her heart longed for. But it would have to do for now, and besides, it was always fun to pick on the innocent. Still sometimes even the foulest of creatures can be led astray for a while before returning to their old ways. Maybe this was her excuse to thinking on a nice level for once. Deep down this vixen knew that a soft spot lay just beneath the surface, but it was a target so small that it was usually over looked.
So here it was, spring time again. It is a time when the world was reborn from the icy grasp of winter to explode into a multitude of colors. It was a sight to see, even she had to admit. Taz did not mind the desolate and monochrome hues of the winter months. But the cold was one thing this harlot could live without. The chill always made the joints stiffen, and caused movement to be retarded. All that was in the past, and the new seasons were in order. And with the new time of year usually came foals, and of course the herd meetings.
Ebony harks had been swiveling about atop the elegant Frisian’s head, as the fae’s velvety muzzle skimmed along the ground nipping at the new grass sprouts. That’s when this fem had heard the call. Cranium lifted quickly and turned to face the direction from which the masculine vocals had come from. a smile formed upon her features. “Just as to be expected.” Her smooth lyrics flowed from her muzzle in a soft whisper. Blowing carbon dioxide back out into the atmosphere in a noisy fashion, the black dial swung to ride the equally dark orbs of the curtain of hair that constantly fell over them.
Toned bodice began forward motion in a graceful lope. It was slow and steady, but the only part of her that seemed to move was her legs and hair giving her almost the appearance of gliding. It was not long before the shadow came upon the stallion Indigo, along with his other pets. One, whom was standing right next to him, seemed overly flirtatious while the other was more of a nature loving hippie. Yes, Tazanna was defiantly the odd ball of this perky little group. Slowly her momentum down to a prance-like trot the mare then came to a halt just a few feet away from the leading brute.
“You rang?” the viper questioned the masculine with a mocking tone to her voice. A smug little smile tugging at the edges of her dark lips. She was here and ready for this to begin, and get over with. Social gatherings were fun, but only in the crowd had the same psychological thought process. Which these guys didn’t seem too much in the mood to cause a ruckus. So she was here, and ready to listen. There wasn’t much more you are going to get from this belle.
