Strong study pistons carried the reddish-brown carcass across the beautiful terrain. It was someone else’s home, someone else’s life. A pain of guilt rang through Jericho’s mind. He was planning to tear that all away from another brute such as himself. Who had fought hard to win the hearts of mares and convince them that a home with him would be worthwhile and happy. But this was something he had to do. Something he promised that he would do for the sake of the two mares counting on him.
The smooth fast paced lope rolled him along, he was trying to dismiss the thoughts from his mind. It was not a good thing to go in with an already beat down attitude. But it would still be there in the back of his mind like a snake ready to strike. The stallion’s face was a totally different story. It showed nothing but fortitude and strength.
Finally the stag came to a sliding halt. Muscles rippled and bunched as he simultaneously forced his upper body skywards into a full rear. A challenging baritone cry emanated from the masculine’s black muzzle. Forelimbs pawed at the air as thorns pinned against the animal’s cranium. Maybe the male that owned this patch of earth would come to confront him. The anterior end of the animal came crashing back down to the ground. Jer’s chiseled façade swung in a circular fashion as he bounced slightly into the air once again to strike at the air once.
Now that that stunt was over he stood firmly upon all fours. Nares expanded and contracted as he breathing quickened. Adrenaline was beginning to course through him with anticipation of what was to come. Boa was arched arrogantly, as brown orbs continued to watch the surrounding area for any sign of life.
Words: 303 Comments: *lets out the breath she was holding* oh•me•gosh I’m so nervous about doing this it isn’t funny. =x

>erebus< A soft sigh left me as I materalized out of the surrounding woods. I guess I know how I'd be spending my day. My frame slide sideways slightly as I readjusted my path to come in contact with the challenger. I accept your challenge. Was my simple remark as I turned away again and headed off towards the battlegrounds without so much as a backwards glance. The stallion would fallow if he was ready to go threw with the battle he had started.
[comments;; Yes it's short, but he's just accepting it and then heading to the battlegrounds. Meet you there]
