He moved his large noble frame across the the valley floor. Noble, ha, he certainly wasn't feeling very noble these days. The spring had brought new life to this land and he hoped it would bring new life to him as well. A heavy sigh escaped his large frame. It seemed the fairer of his species wasn't interested in being wooed these days. He should think that it would be a privilege to be courted by God's own messenger. A heavenly being in his own right. But no, the femmes all seemed to reject him. Stupid faes, what did they know. His heavy steps echoed loudly as he strode slowly along. There were all sorts of signs of new life all around him. The once quiet and dead land was now coming alive slowly. His normally gleaming coat seemed dull now because of all the mud he had gathered in his travels. He let out a loud snort. How he needed a bath, or at least a rain shower to clean his pelt to it's magnificent glory once again. He didn't feel he was a vain creature, he just knew that he was truly a sight to be seen when he was in his full glory. Long tresses blowing wildly in the breeze, bright pelt gleaming brightly in the sunlight, yes he truly was a beautiful creature.
As he walked slowly through the quiet land his thoughts overwhelmed him. He was far older now, a touch more tattered. His mind was filled with wisdom given to him by the beauties that had left him jaded. He thought of all of the beautiful feas he had once encountered at one time or another. Each one angels that he couldn't seem to touch. He slowed his pace until he he was completely still. Standing on a small knoll he looked around to see where his next destination may lie. He watched the breeze rustle the leaves of the small bunch of trees that stood along the edges of the land. The sky was mostly clear with a few clouds dancing lazily in the breeze. He let out another sigh. He was quite tired of the sense of loneliness that over took him. He hoped that this place could offer him shelter as well as friendship if not more. At least for a little while.

Wooden No Matches Allowed
I had seen both of my sons already I knew that my oldest son did not want to be the leader of the land once I got to old for the job, but my youngest son Gabe he was well way to young to take over now. As my long white feathers above my light tanned colored moved gentle moved while catching the light breeze as I move my large shire cross body across the land close and close towards the large Snowgum tree that stood out in this large land, as I came to the shinny aqua water, I lowered my crown towards the cool refreshing water.
Out the corner of my dark brown orb I caught some tiny dot getting larger and larger, I lifted my large ivory blaze crown up as my lighter colored auds pricked forward hearing a sound, as the light breeze changed the direction I then caught a faint but new scent on the breeze. Long pillars moved me forward into a trot across my lands closer and closer towards the scent, the scent was stronger, as I got close I halted my darker colored orbs looked at the new stallion who had came upon my lands.
Hello their sir, can you please tell me why have you came this far across my land? I kept my right aud pricked forward as my left aud moved like a radar listening for other sounds around me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nevvy's Notes: Horse: Wooden "Wood" Muse: Good Comment:idk Word:don't have a clue

Corinth watched as the older stag moved across his land. He was a rather large stag, even compared to Corinth. His long stride brought him closer and closer towards where Corinth was standing. A smirk cracked Corinth's mug. He wasn't intimidated easily, but if he was this beast could be the one to do it. He listened to the stags booming words carefully before he spoke. Well sir, I meant no offense, however I have traveled a long way and I was hoping for a drink and possibly a place to rest. Smiling a charming smile, he bowed his head slightly, letting his messy tresses fall into his face.
Lifting his head once again, throwing his matted mane back once again, he spoke again with a slight laugh in his tone. And perhaps a bath if it would be alright. I can't stand how I must look. He watched the stag for his reaction, hoping that he would be welcome here. The land seemed like a peaceful place. He pawed at the ground lightly as he waited to hear what the stag had to say.

Listening to what the stallion was saying towards me, as listen carefully he strangely enough reminded me of my youngest son. I then had to remember where I had last saw Gabe away from his mum, he was always spending time near some water a little bit deeper inside the forest. No offense taken sir. Well my name is Wood, and you are welcome to stay here as long as you like, but first I need to know your name sir. You can tell me on the way towards the pool you can have a bath you. I turned my large shire cross body around towards where I had last been, I walked into the forest and a bit further down, and then I came to a little water area I stopped and turned my crown to make sure the strange stallion was following. I knew I was getting older by the day, but I knew I had to kept going at what I was doing, and I hardly spent anytime with the rest of my family, but I was hoping that would change as I called a herd meeting later on in the season. The pool to the right is the one you bath in, the one to the left in a drinking one. shaking my large crown, which caused my ebony mane to flick against each side of my neck.

He smiled warmly at the big brute. He moved quickly to keep up with the long stride that the one who had called himself Wood took. He seemed to be a peaceful creature, which was good; Corinth was tired of having to fight for the right to exist for a while. Catching up to Wood he introduced himself properly. Well Master Wood, my name is Corinth’s Virtue but I have come to be known as just Corinth. It had been a long time since he had the company of another equine and he had so much he wanted to say but the idea of a bath could have made him jump for joy. He wasn’t sure how, but he kept himself composed in front of the other stag. He looked in the direct that Wood had pointed him in. He couldn’t believe his eyes. Before him were the most perfect pools of water he had ever seen. This may have been because all he had seen the last little while were murky mud puddles and water in ditches, but either way he was grateful that these pools were being shared with him.
He stood a while trying to decided what he wanted to do first. He was desperately thirsty but his own filthiness was driving him mad. His mind was made up. There would always be time for having a drink later. He needed a bath. He charged towards the pool to which Wood had said was for bathing, letting his entire body be overcome by the water’s cool sensations. He put his head under the water, throwing it on to his back. Once he felt that he was clean, or at least clean enough, he move back towards the shore of the pond. Placing his feet firmly on the soil once again, he gave a great shake, being sure that he was far enough away from Wood so as not to get him wet. He then moved his way towards the pond that Wood at told him was for drinking from and had a large drink and then returned to Woods side to continue their conversation.
Well sir, I thank you, I must say I feel one hundred percent better already. Perhaps you can tell me a little about this land, which I can only assume you are the master of. He watched the big stag. He had a certain air about him. He seemed very relaxed in his own skin, something Corinth respected. Corinth shook his locks yet again to be sure that they were laying just so and then turned his attentions Back to Wood, patiently waiting for his reply.

I listened to the white brute’s lyrics, my lighter coloured auds where half pricked forward, and half back so that I could hear what was going on around in my homeland. I also started to think about how to call everyone together for this herd meeting while hoping everyone turns up. My large shire cross body was very relax now that I knew this stallion was no longer a threat towards me and my family. I then heard his name I just listen to the gentle breeze around my homeland known to all around Midnight Acres as Snowgum Valley, as more of Corinth’s lyrics came my way, just listen as I always had done and been told to do. Why does everyone have to say Master before my name? I don’t like being called that, reminds me to much of where I came from. shaking my crown to get arid of that thought, my light coloured maw opened and my lyrics came out, I am in the owner of this beautiful land, this beautiful land is in charge of me and my family, it name the gods gave the land is Snowgum Valley, this land is named after the beautiful Snowgum tree. Please Corinth just call me Wood. This land is a very large even my family is spread out all over the place. I’m also please to say that you are part of this family as well. I knew my youngest son hangs around theses parts very often I was very surprised not to find him here and in one of water pools. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nevvy’s Notes Horse: Wood Muse: not bad Comments: Tell me if you want to meet little Gabe. Not a very good post. Also would you like Wood to ask Cor now if he wants to be a beta or at the herd meeting?

OCC~ Corith would be happy to meet Gabe and as far as Wood ask Corinth if he wants to be Beta, I think the meeting would work best for that. I'm working on a post right now to reply to Wood:)
