I moved into Hollow Woods as I crossed the boarder. I couldn't do it anymore. My slender limbs couldn't hold my weight as I crashed toward the cold earth. But the soft white snow blocked my fall from being hard. I landed on my right side. I was somewhat glad that I did. My front right limb was lame. But the cold snow made it feel somewhat better. My severe damage eye was in laiding in the snow as the coldness began to numb the pain away. I had some abrasions to my back and haunches that bled out onto the white snow as my red blood drowned it with a red tint.

I then called out to Intrepid because I was afraid of something for the first time. I heard growling in the distance. The wolves of Hollow Woods was hungry and was looking for there dinner and it seem like I was on the menu as they stalked me from the shadows. I'm sure that he could tell the fear in my call out toward him. But I couldn't fight off the wolves. I couldn't even stand up, not right now. I was just to weak. I hated to say it, but only Intrepid would make me feel safe right now. I knew he wouldn't let nothing get me and he would stay here with me into I'm well enough to walk.

But there was a problem, from the way I was laiding in the snow it look like there was nothing wrong with me, but my back and haunches that was bleeding on to the snow. My cream foam mixed with slight blood was still at the corner of my mouth. Then my lame leg that I'm sure that he wouldn't notice right away. But then I wonder what would he thought when I lifted my cerebrum away from the snow for him to see my eye. I could tell that there was skin hanging above my eye. I also knew that I was going to lose my right eye. But I might of lost my eye, but I didn't loose my fight. I was a trooper and I was proud that I won.

Setting off at a lazy jog, i paced into the centre of the land, after training with Blizzard and my father for a little while. It had gone well, Blizzard of course had got pretty damn tired and sore after a short while, after fighting with mine and Droja's daughter, Anna Lee. But no one was to blame for that, i personally wasn't bothered aobut the short battle the two fillies had had. It would of given them both a bit of practice. My father was looking good, i must admit, his coat shone, even under the thick red winter coat he held, and neither me or him had bruised badly. i had a small cut on my neck that seeped a small trickle of blood, he had grazed knees, it was all just for fun.

I managed a quick glance through the tree's, now, more snowflakes began to fall, not in a storm, just a calm, flowing droplets. I gave a slight shiver as the first flakes landed upon my back and slowed to a walk, relaxed almost. i dipped my skull into the snow and pulled out a herb of some sort, slowly, i began chewing, listening out for any signs of danger. an owl that had recently began stayiong in the woods hooted in the near distance, but that wasn't the only thing that was hunting tonight; the sweet scent of blood wafted to my flared nostrils and i followed the trail, soon coming across a dead fawn lying on the mossy turf. I cranked my skull down to sniff at the dead carcass, heat still coming off the babe. Harks pushed back into my cranium and i gave a low grunt of disaproval; nudging the fawn with my muzzle, delicatly gripping its broken neck between my jaw and dragging it off to the side, into the bushes and out of sight.

Red now stained my muzzle, making the blood trail harder to follow, but i soon came across wolf paw prints in the thick layer of snow; again, i would have to be quick if they I were to follow the hunting group, the snow had started to fall a little heavier now and my mane, back and tail were covered in the cold substance. Breaking into a jog, i trotted with my head low, keeping my black opticals on the fading trail. Brow furrowed as i struggled to adjust to the darkening light and i eventually slowed, dipping my muzzle in a deep ditch of snow to rid the blood from my muzzle, their next kill would soon strike and i would no doubt pick the trail up again some time soon.

A sharp cry rang across the lands and hit my alerted audits. Immediatly, shock and adrenaline shot through my veins, it was Droja! she was crying out for help, for me...My cranium shot up high into the air, harks pricked forward and nostrils flared. Pools were wide with fear for my loved queen. I reared, thrashing at the flakey air wth my fore hooves. A shrill dry was released from my muzzle, a return call for her, telling her i was on my way. Before i knew it, i was running, at a fast, almost uncontrolled pace, i was streamlined, and gathering speed and a quick glance down to the floor as i hopped over a log confirmed my fears; i was following the wolf tracks. Again, i roared out, angry bubbling inside of me.

It seemed to take forever to reach the painted mare, and when i did, everything seemed so wrong, she was laid in the snow, i could scent blood, but couldn't see any. Hackles raised on my back as i heard the snarls and hisses of the wolves who were obviously very angry that i had beat them. It didn't take long for them to react. as soon as i ran to droja and extended my muzzle down to touch her neck, the head hunter pounced out of the bushes, a defending scream parting from his kissers as he lunged onto my back and sunk his fangs into the bottom of my neck. Pain swarmed through my entire body, shooting down my spine and into my legs, i heard my skin burst as the pointed ivories sunk further in and immediatly, i smelt blood. My blood.

I reared to full height, crying out at the wolf, i twisted my enitre body, loosing my footing and falling onto my back. Immediatly, the pain was released and a sharp yelp rang through me ears, the wolf limped away, snarling and yelping, followed by his companions. I scampered ontro my pillars, darting my gaze over to my queen, a faint whisper left my lips "Droja..." I hurried forward, dipping my muzzle to nudge her, seeing her eye, and the bruising, the blood that seeped from her mouth and other cuts. I gave a wild, loud snort. stamping a hoof into the ground. "Who did this?" I demanded, nudging her again. "Droja, tell me. and get up, you must get up, don't rest here in the snow, come to my den. get up" Again, tones were demanding as shcok and panic shot through my veins, my heart beat increasing.

The white snow still kept my pain at bay as I laid still. I flicker my sentinels for my eardrums to hear the sounds near me. I just hear the sound of the wolves as they made a circle around me. I bared my yellow stain fangs at them as a warning to back off. But my warning wasn't pay no mind to as the wolves was still growling and snapping. But then shortly I heard something pushing its way through the thick blanket of snow. It was Intrepid. I watched him through my left lantern. I could here the wolves growling, grinding there fangs together. Then it happen there dumb ass leader attack Intrepid. I open my mug as I gave out a battle scream. I tryed to stand upon my limbs and try to help him. But I had failed as I landed back where I once landed. I seen Intrepid land upon his back. I then notice the blood flow from his bite wound. I could tell that the wound was deep. But then he stood upon on all fours quickly as the wolves ran off. But I knew they would be back soon. They would bring there back up troops and hope they they could get dinner.

After the action I closed my lantern lid as I seen the darkness. But then I heard his words softly toward me. Droja. I then open my lantern once more to see the sliver dapple brute standing over me. I could feel his soft touch nudging my boa. I must say, I loved the feeling of his soft flesh upon mind right now. I then heard his words once more follow by another nudge. Who did this. I knew that he wasn't asking me. He was demanding me to tell him who did this to me. I let out a slight sigh. Then his words once more hit me, once more his tones demanding me to do this. Droja, tell me.

I looked up toward him. I then tryed once more to stand upon my four limbs. This time it work. My slender limbs was wobbling like a new born foal from being numb. I then took a tiny step toward him. I then felt the tingling as the pain shot through my painted bodice. I let out a slight grunt as I took another step. I then turn to look toward Intrepid. Now he could see the real damage done to my eye. I then took a deep breath while I began to do what I was told. Trevor did this to me. I will take care of the baster next time. Don't worry dear. Ill get my revenge on him. Ill show him that this mare can beat him again. Then I looked at the tiny blood stream that ran down Intrepid sliver dapple bodice from his recent bite. I then began to speak once more toward him. You have a good idea. Lets go to the den.

I slowly limped my way toward him. My nares flares as I took in his musky stallion scent. I could tell by his black lanterns while I made eye contact with the beast. That he was shocked. I had to let him know that I will be okay some how. But I'm sure that he knew that already. I gave him a slight grin as I nudge him softly. Then my voice changed from weak to a soft sexy tone toward him. My hero came at my time of need. I was trying to lift the feeling, not to make him worry as much. But I was still in alot of pain and I had a feeling I will be into my eye finally gives away. Then I began to speak toward him, my voice soft and somewhat weak. Thank You for saving my ass from the hell hounds. I then made my way to his side as he stood to my right. I couldn't see him, but I knew he was there. I pushed myself slightly upon his side. I didn't put no weight on him just to have him help guide me toward the den. I also knew that after a few days I would have to learn how to cover my right side without him there.

Dispite the cold winter weather, my silver carcass had brought out in a light, speckled sweat. i couldn't discribe how i was feeling, sad, scared, angry...all in one. One thing i hated about my disorder; it was so hard to pin - point certain emotions. Everything was a blur, unti lshe spoke, when i shook my skull and focused on what she was saying; optics narrowed slightly and my temper turned sour. "Tevor?" I repeated his name, trying to think if i knew the bastard. "Wher eis he Droja, i'l kill him." I finished, tones held nothing but an angry hiss as they rolled off my tongue. Dispite her saying 'she would get her own back' i wanted to find him. now. Whilst he was weak. but Droja would proberly kick my ass for 'protecting' her so much. I knew she could stick up for herself, but it did make me feel a little useless.

as she raised herself off the floor, her wounds became more clear, her coat was nothing but a bloody mess, and her eye...it looked so painful, perhaps even dieing? With a low, quiet whimper, i lunged forward to help her, lowering my head so she could rest her head and neck over my shoulders. Ignoring the pain that came from my own wound, i circled us around to the small den, each step took with absolute concern. i didn't want to hurt her more. Once in the den, i started to relax, it was something Anntho had prepared for me, somewhere i could come to calm down from my fits and emotional wrecks. A thick rug of leaves and moss lay across the ground, making it an extremely comftable bed; it was large enough for two horses and a foal to stand in, and well sheltered. You couldn't see the stars, for the thicket was so tightly woven together, it held no gaps for the weather to get in. around the entrance, there was some sort of purple herb. Anntho had told me its colour and scent was a natural calming drug, and so far, i had beleived her. "Is there anything i can do for you Droja? Should i call for Anntho to help you? Or would you rather it was just us, for now..." I asked her, staying close incase she needed help lying down or if she collapsed. 2And Anna - Lee, how is she? Perhaps she should be here? she has the right to know about you, and i'd like to see how she is, after the fight and all." I didn't want to crowd her, and i douted she would allow anntho near, however, our daughter had all rights to see her injured mother.

I could tell that Intrepid was going through alot right now. He had all types of emotions on his face. I could tell that he wanted to go after Trevor and kick his worthless ass. Indeed Trevor was weak and he was in better shape than me. I must say that Trevor was stronger than I thought and I only beat him by the skin of my teeth. But Trevor wasn't going to fix me right now. I knew that Trevor had whats coming to him. I shook my cerebrum as to get the thought of Trevor away from my brain. I let my copper lantern look at Intrepid as I heard the words that he spoken toward me. I then began to speak toward him, my voice was calm and soft. Killing him won't solve anything Intrepid. But if you must know he is in the Brook. I then let my copper lanterns looks into his trying to read his mind. Indeed I told Intrepid where Trevor was. He was asking me something and it was my place to tell him. But the choice was his to do. Would he leave me alone and try to be a hero. Or would he stay here with me and let my fix my own problem. But I did know where Intrepid was coming from. If a bitch chewed his ass up. Hell I must say I would whip the bitches ass and I would fight every demon in hell on the way there to her. But I didn't want Intrepid to go after Trevor. I knew that he would have his chance, coming up soon.

I shifted my weight upon his sliver flesh while to keep the pain off his dapple flesh. I didn't want to hurt him. But then before I knew it I was at his den. I lower myself upon the floor while a slight smile form upon my mug. I then rub my cerebrum slightly up and down his slender limb as if to tell him thank you. I knew that Anntho did this for him. I must said I really didn't know the mare, but she seem to be okay in my point of view. I then heard the words that he spoken toward me. I then began to speak toward him. Anntho? She must be good. Yes cause of maggots. I don't want them in my eye. I then thought of his next words. Yes Anna Lee. She was going very while since her fight with her young Aunt. Infact she reminded me alot of of her father. I then open my mug while I gave out a call for Anna Lee to come to see me and her father. I then looked up as I knew that she would be here shortly. I then began to speak once more toward Intrepid while we still was alone. Intrepid, I know that this is a touchy subject. But Anna Lee is getting older and her disorder is starting to bother her. I was wondering if you could and talk to her about it and help her understand it. I then looked at him hoping that he would spend the one on one time with her to help her understand there shared disorder.

I lurked in the shadows while the smell of blood hit my nose. I then let my pink tongue roll out of my mouth as it worked its way across my upper lip. I moved forth toward the smell of the blood. But another scent caught my nose, it was my fathers. I let a evil smirk form upon my mug while I stalked forward, hoping to sneak up on him, to watch him from a distance, in the shadows. Maybe I would learn something. But as I stalked forward I could tell he wasn't no longer in the area. But there was something else, it was a fawn. The fawn was cold and was starting to sniff up as no blood worked its way through the fawn's bodice. I then let out a slight snort. Now I would have to follow my fathers path. He could be my stalking play dummy.

I then pushed forth down the trail of my father's scent. It was then my right legs started to tingle as the numbness started to once again to take over. I once more snorted. Not Now! But I was fine to walk, for now. But then I heard the call of my mother. Her voice sounded like she was in some pain. So what did my mother want with me. I began to move toward her voice in a slow walk as I open my mug as I gave my own call out to her to let her know I was on my way to her.

I came across to this den. I could herd voices coming from it. It sounded like my mother and father. I then began to stalk forward once again. I then worked my way in the cave as I notice my father first. His sliver flesh making him look like a ghost, standing in the darkness. Then my mother with her painted flesh giving her away. But then it hit me. My mother was wounded. My copper lanterns looks at my father. What happen to mother? Will she me okay daddy? Sentinels flickers as to caught any words as I moved next to my fathers side.

A low grunt escaped my maw as i folded my forelegs underneath me and lowered myself to the ground. curling myself in a protective manor around the current queen. When she spoke, my jaw grinded a little, showing my controlled anger. "Well, if your certain. I'l stay away for now." I spoke with a slightly annoyed tone but never the less, i nudged her shoulder gently, licking at her wound. Harks perked forward as she spoke once more and a call for our daughter. she responded quikly and soon her painted carcass jogged into veiw. I ushered her forward, telling her to come into the den where i lay next to Droja, to keep her warm and out of the cold. " She was in a fight, Anna - Lee. But yes, she will be fine in time. How are your wounds fairing?" I reassured her and asked her in a polite yet powerful voice. "Your mother says your getting slightly confused by your bipolar. Whats wrong?" I added, remembering the comment droja had given me.

I could feel Intrepid as he laid down beside me. His body warmth flowing out from him and onto me, keeping me warm. I let out a small snort toward him as if to say thank you in my own way. I then notice how his jaw slightly grinded after my words toward him as if he had all kind of angry to bust out. I knew that he might listen to me. Hell who was I fooling? I knew at the end of his words he would meet Trevor, sometime, someday and I knew that it wouldn't be pretty. I just nodded my painted cerebrum after his words. I knew that he would do what he wanted. Thats what I liked about him, his untameable soul. I then let out a slight chuckle while I began to think to myself. Me and Intrepid been knowing each other for almost a year and a half now and this is the first time that we had really been nice to each other. I would have reached over and nipped him, but I wasn't feeling up to that even.

Sentinels lower into there graves as I heard talons hitting upon the front of the den. I slightly bared my yellow fangs, but then I notice that it was only Anna Lee. I heard her words toward her father. I let a smile out toward her as I nodded my cerebrum as if to agree alone with Intrepid. I knew that I would be fine. I then let out another chuckle. This was the first time that I ever agreed with Intrepid on something to. Damn I need to start feeling better and we can get back to normal. Then Intrepid started to talk about there disorder. I didn't open my painted mug. This was something her father could help her with and her mother couldn't.

I worked my way into the den more as I watched my father lower himself next to my mother. This was the first that I really looked at them both and thought of myself and how I looked like them. I had the painted flesh as my mother, but my fathers sliver tint as I could shimmer sliver. I was starting to become stocky like the Quarter Horse bloodlines from my mother, but I could hold myself graceful like my father Arabian bloodlines. I believed that the two blood lines mix together really well and I was proud of them.

It was then I heard my fathers words telling me that my mother would be fine. But then he wanted to know how I was coming along with my wounds from Blizzard. I then began to spoke toward him. There find father. My neck is heal and my right limbs keeps going numb, but that she heal in another few seasons. I believe that fighting Blizzard was good for me. I learned alot from it. Then his next words hit me. So he wanted to know about my disorder. I let my copper lanterns give him direct eye contact. Many would be afraid to look my father in the eye. But I wasn't. He was my daddy and I knew he wouldn't do nothing to hurt me. I then let out a slight sigh while I began to speak toward him. Father, I'm starting not to be able to concentrate. But I have racing thoughts in my head. Thoughts about killing and how much I would enjoy it. I'm also starting to have mood swings. I cant help it father. I try to control it. But cant. I wasn't sure if the killing was from my mothers disorder or not. I wasn't sure if my father had them kind of thoughts in his mind. But I guess I would know soon.

I stayed silent for a few moments, just listening to Droja's breathing, her snort of thanks made me smile, as as Anna lee came closer, i too, smiled up at her. Her confused words made me frown a little. it was going to be hard for me to do this but never the less, it was my job to. She looekd my right in the eye and i quickly looked away, uncomftable by the shine in her eyes. "Uh- okay, well you have to focus on what you see. If you have a fit, it happens, your likely to hurt yourself but you can't stop it. don't try and fight it." I gave her a reassuring smile and turned towards Droja, nuzzling at her shoulder before turning back to my wonderful daughter "I think we should leave now, Anna- Lee, and give your mother some rest" I tld her, shifting onto my legs so i could lift myself up; i turned to look at droja. "I'l be back to check on you shortly" I reassured her, before stepping out of the den and walking away, ushering anna-lee along the way
