CHAOS
You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. Carcass moved carefully and slowly through the lands. It had taken me some time to get back to Hollow Woods from the battlegrounds. My broken nse was still bleeding, leaving a trail but heck i was home. I had lost the fight, yet i still has Rosaluna, the new mare who i had won over on my outing to Dream Falls. Her scent was faintly noticable and i released a shrill whinny for her to see me. I was slightly stiff, but the only serious damage was to my muzzle. Breathing was difficult; my sides were heaving in and out, i was breathing fast, hoping to draw more air into my lungs. Optics were stil lwide, and harks perked forward, dispite the pain i was in. A fight was a fight and i had done my deal, read up on my promise; atleast now i could rest in peace, knowing i had given the brute a punishment for messing with my family. RosaLuna From Dream Falls, RosaLuna had managed to find her way, by way of asking around and manipulating other horses to tell her the way, to Hollow Woods. It had been a rather uninteresting journey, as journeys go, but she had been given a chance to flex her manipulating skills before using them on the horses of the dark herd who would have no idea a neutral horse was in their midst. A neutral mare who could possibly take all of their plans, ideas, schemes and somehow let the lights know what was going on over here...if it would benefit her, that is. On the other hand, having a home, a herd to call her own...that was a novelty she hadn't been expecting to enjoy so much.
Rosa had arrived at Hollow Woods in due time, only to find that the stallion who had claimed her, one such Chaos, was away fighting the other stallion...Rage, was it? She hardly remembered him, just that he had been distracting the attention of Chaos and Cory from her. Rosa thrived on such attention. So, she waited, making no attempt to let any of the herd know she was here and keeping out of sight, for she was not sure how they would react to a mare showing up without a stallion who had claimed her. To play it safe, she waited on the outskirts of the dark lands until she heard a whinny in the distance.
Her ears perked up and her head shot up from the ground where she had been nibbling on some sparse vegetation. That was him, all right, she decided after a moment when no other sounds followed the whinny. She headed towards the direction that the call had come from at a swift trot, scenting the blood as before when she had first met Chaos. Only this time, it wasn't just the blood of another horse. It was his blood.
RosaLuna crested a rise and saw him, his dark chesnut fur covered with blood that was and was not his own. He looked a little dejected and more than a little wounded, his nose streaming blood and his normally lithe movements stiff. Apparently the fight had not gone well.
Rosa galloped down the rise and up to Chaos, concern in her eyes and even in her voice as she inquired, "Chaos, are you alright? Who did this to you?" Of course, she knew who had done this to him, but she wanted to make it seem like she really was concerned for him and wanted to know who was behind his suffering. His muzzle looked awful, almost permanently damaged, and he looked to be breathing hard.

CHAOS
You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. I gave a gentle snort to clear out my nostrils, a pool of blood seeping onto the floor from my nose. Although, my mood lightened a little when the ground rumbled unserfoot. Rosaluna was arriving; I ifted my skul, bloody nostrils quivering in a silent greeting; i dipped my skull to make breathing easier but my cranium soon shot up as the fancy bay creature came into sight. " 'Lo, Rosaluna." I stated, dispite being in pain and distress my lyrics were still dark and taunting, as always. No fight would get me down. She had a sheer look of concern in her eyes and i managed a small smile to her. She spoke and i gave a low chuckle, tossing my cranium, splashing blood on a nearby tree. " Rage, of course. But yes, of course i'm okay, it's just a flesh wound..." I spoke slyly, with sarcasm of course. I knew my nose was badly broken and would proberly never heal, but that was all. Rage had suffered a few injuries too. "How was your journey?" I asked, licking at the blood that dripped down of my nose. RosaLuna Rosa could clearly see that he was not okay. Even though he tried to pretend like nothing was wrong, she could tell he was clearly in pain. "Clearly it is not just a flesh wound, you are in pain!" she said, coming closer to him and nudging him gently. "Is there a healer in your herd? We need to fix your nose before you bleed out." For now her concern was actually partially real, mostly because she hated the sight of blood.
"My journey was fine, uneventful, nothing compared to your battle. What was that about anyways?" she asked, starting to try and lead him in the direction of the herd, hoping someone there would be able to help Chaos in some way. She had no idea why Rage and Chaos would have had such a bad blow that Chaos would come back wounded. She had heard tales of Chaos and he hardly ever lost a battle, but it seemed that he had lost this one. "Come on, let's try and get you some help."

CHAOS
You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. Red audits pressed back into my skull when she spoke, i shook my skull. "No, really, Rosaluna. I'm fine, its not the first time i've broke my nose; it wil lstop bleeding in a few days." I re-assured her, reaching forward to lip at her right shoulder, hoping she didn't mind me bleeding so much. I retreated back and sent her a soft smile. shaking my head a little, why was it they cared so much? I stepepd forward, into a small clearing, big enough for four horses. A loud, masculine call was sent out to anntho, the grey mare; she was the healer of the herd and we got on okay, she was special to me and intrepid. No one messed with her, therefore, it would be a good idea for Rosaluna to 'buddy up' with her, there would be a herd meeting in the spring, and i didn't want the bay arabian to feel left out. "Anntho will be on her way, we should stay here, there will be some herbs near by." I told her, sidestepping to make room for the mare to walk into the cosy clearing. "I'm glad your journey was okay. The reason i fought Rage, was because he attacked anntho a few years ago. Just a little revenge, he didn't come off much lighter though." I smirked at her, licking some more blood to stop it dripping onto the mossy floor. Character: Chaos Status: complete Word Count: 264 Comments: ouch...it's okay, don't worry. `anntho A sigh left me as I weaved through the trees, getting closer to my destination by ever second. In no time I was upon Chaos, but he wasn't alone. What have you done this time? I mused lightly in a low voice as I swept out of the woods and into the clearing, my pale eyes roving over the bay arabian at his side. So there was another arabian? Were Thea and I the only different breeds? Heh, probably. It was a rather nice feeling to be unique among such a large herd. The fresh scent of blood brought my attention onto him; more specifically, to his nose. My eyes rolled in there sockets as I turned away and disappeared momentairly into the woods, before reappearing with cobwebs over my muzzle. Come here, boy. I beckoned, tossing my scull lightly to flip the longer strands of the web up onto the rest of the mass.

RosaLuna "Alright, if you say so, she said finally as he lipped her shoulder gently, smearing a little of the blood on her fine coat. Her first instinct was to find a tree to rub it off on, but it really wasn't that noticeable on her dark bay coat and she thought she would seem like a priss. Which she was. A little.
RosaLuna followed him into the small clearing, watching him carefully for any signs of dizziness from loss of blood. Her ears flicked back, then forward as a call rang out for Anntho to come, apparently the healer of the herd. She almost sighed with relief; she did not handle injuries very well. "Ah, revenge. I should have thought of that," she said with a small smile, secretly storing that little tidbit of information away for later. This Anntho must be important to Chaos if he was willing to risk fighting and getting this injured for her. Her thoughts paralleled his as she heard hoofbeats approaching, perhaps she would do well to get to know this Anntho.
She was about to say something to the mare who entered the clearing, but just as soon as the mare entered, she was gone. Rosa looked to Chaos for a moment before hoofbeats again signaled the mare's approach. She put on a friendly expression and attempted to make conversation a little. "What herbs have you got there?" she asked politely, her deceptive nature coming into play. The mare would never know that she wasn't just as friendly as she seemed, or as dark as she could be.

CHAOS
You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. Hakrs swivelled forward at the sound of approching hooves; but soon returned to their graves as Anntho spoke come here boy I gave a loud, slightly...well, angry? snort and tossed my skull following her. Sure i was a well known 'king' but did that mean i had to be fussed over like some small foal? Absolutly not! With a quick slash of my whipcord, i stepped forward to follow the dark grey twisting my skull to make sure my new precious gem was following. Seeing that she was, i gave a small smirk. i had already grown very attached to her; almost as attached as i was to Anntho. But how would the two get along? anntho wasn't exactly the 'friendliest' of equines... Harks flickered towards Rosaluna as she spoke and i glanced over at Anntho quickly to see some spiteful comment. " Anntho, this is Rosaluna." I spoke clearly, a hint of 'warning' in my voice i didn't want Anntho to drive the bay mare away, the last thing i wanted was for her to go back to the wimp, Cory. `anntho I rolled my eyes at the chesnut stallion as he took an agressive posture towards me. Still trying to play the big bad brute even when he would probably bleed to death before he got the chance to find me once I disappeared back into the surrounding woods. As he came towards me I heard a new voice. So the bay mare did have a voice after all. My ears popped upright and dropped on her, my dark eyes remaining on Chaos as I brushed my muzzle against his gently; the cobwebs catching on his whiskers and absorbing the extra blood that was oozing threw his nose. Breath through your mouth. I murmured lowly, pulling away from him when the last of the cobwebs had left my muzzle.
At the question a snide comment was on the tip of my tongue, but was quickly swallowed as Chaos introduced the mare as Rosaluna, a certain depth to his voice, warning me to be nice. My narels flared as I took on a kind voice. Not herbs. Just cobwebs. Soak up the excess blood. I murmured lightly, before stepping up against Chaos's one side as the almost mature creature inside of me gave a nudge, letting the creature's sire feel it through my barrel. If I was going to nice to her, I might as well make his day too.
