“I am the luckiest stallion in all of Midnight Acres.”

I didn’t expect to find a mare on my way out but I did. Asthela was mine and no one could take her from me. Zarian would be angry, yes but I didn’t care. I was the happiest stallion in all of Midnight Acres now. Still the news I had heard from Zarian before I left home plagued my heart. Chaos and Riku to attack me? I snorted. I knew Zarian wouldn’t help me after I had tried to claim Butterfly Effect but still I had to try. I would ask.
“Zarian, I am home.” I called.
Would my master come? I hoped so. I sniffed the air waiting for his scent to draw nearer. Instead I smelt a dark stallion. I tossed my head to look for this dark stallion. Was it Chaos? Or Riku? Maybe Yarra? I don’t know. I twisted my head to look. Still couldn’t see the damn dark stallion. I told Asthela to come closer to me as I shouted.
“Who is out there?” [/size]

I stalk the night looking for light stallions to prey on.

“Zarian, I’m home.”
“Who is out there?”
The words I heard from the light stallion I was stalking. I snorted. Should I answer? Only time would tell. For now I would stay hidden in the shadows. I saw the light stallions ears prick back. I snorted again. My lips formed what would have been a smile. This stallion was entertaining. I think I will follow him some more
I thought to my self. This stallion would be what I needed. After I killed him I would take his mare and than I could finally claim Knife’s Edge, the beautiful place that I longed for.

What Was I Thinking?

^{Rage a warrior in my lands was finally back, I could tell by the scent that drifted into my nostrils on slow air currents. I was furious at him, he had not told me that he would be leaving my lands. It was a good thing that I already did not trust the stallion so I had not given him a job to do. I highly doubted that he would be able to protect anything that was mine because he was so full of himself and what was his. It only took me a few minutes to follow the scent of the stallion and confront Rage “Well Stallion you are finally back. Did you not think that it would have been nice to tell me that you would be leaving?” Anger dripped from my every word and my accent was thick, which often happened when I was mad. “I should kick you out of my lands! You have done nothing for me that a warrior is supposed to do and you bring with you the threat of Chaos, Riku and Yarraman.” I shook my head, letting my long dark mane fly all over in a wild mess. I stopped mid shake though because my nostrils caught the scent of a second stallion. “You stupid beast! You have a being following you! You brought another stallion right into the heart of my lands.” O how badly I was regretting claiming Rage right now. I didn’t like to kill others but Rage was making it really appealing right now. “Show yourself Stag! Before I make you come out.” My voice boomed over the land, it was filled with rage and something dark.}

Zarian’s words hit me hard. This proud leader was furious with me. I tried to speak but more harsh words flowed out of his mouth.
A black stallion came out of the trees. I stared at him and I believe Zarian stared at him to. He gave what looked like a smile and galloped away.
I turned to Zarian.
“Master, I wish to leave this place.”
“My mate and I want our own terra.”
“Can we be allies if I leave and may I leave, Master?
I stared at Zarian hoping he wouldn’t strike me. I respected him but Asthela and I wanted a family.
“Please Master.”

I cringed outwardly as I heard Zarian's crys from the hollow where his warrior had arrived, this couldn't be good. Glancing around me, I sighed and decided to show up and somehow try and soothe him, he was already having a hard time, this would only make his head explode even more. As I ended my approach a light nicker was given to my King, picking my head up and striding in alongside him without fear of his anger turning on me, for a simple reason. He's had yet to yell at me or even scowl at me for something, I felt pretty much safe, for lack of a better word.

My muzzle stretched out towards Zarian's shoulder, brushing the muscular region before facing the warrior of the lands with a slight scowl, one ear up, the other still folded sideways neatly, until I heard his words. Surprise took me and both of my ears flopped forward to their lengths, twitching as if to clear away any dirt that was in them. Dad I heard right, he wanted to leave? A second later I was looking back up to the brute at my side, trying to judge his reaction early, almost expecting him to combust.

BUTTERFLY x ASTHELA

Asthela? White head shot up from it's grazing stance with a light gasp before limbs carried her off towards the sounds of the equines, a smile of glee spreading over her face as she did so; Asthela was home, she had come back to her once again! She wound herself around the trees that stood in her way and ended up jumping cleanly over a small creek. Limbs scrambled up the steep incline quickly to try and reach where they were gathering, but she couldn't find them! She twisted and turned to try and spot them, so instead she took a chance and just flung herself out into a clearing, legs sprawled to catch her weight before her dome shot up with wild eyes; "Where is she? Where is Asthela!" She nearly growled, head dancing around until she heard other's hoofbeats. Brows arched slightly as she looked from rage to Zarian, how could Zarian be infuriated that Rage had found a mare? He should've been happy! She paced forward, mug twitching slightly as she spoke; "You should be happy, furball! If Asthela is going with Rage, I am going as well..." "There will be none of this chatter, sister. You are to stay here and follow the orders of your rightful king, no buts about it," wise words were spoken from the maw of the black goddess that emerged from the shadows, crimson eyes dancing with amusement as she strode forward confidently, no signs of respecting Zarian and no signs of being afraid of him.

<sup>The stallion that I had called out was black and an obviouse dark. I despised those creatures. Master, I wish to leave this place. Rage’s words made my attention drag back to his frame. “I have told you not call me Master! What is wrong with you are you perposfuly trying to make me angry at you?” I litteraly wanted to rip this ones head off. “Your mate? Is that why you left my lands without telling me. To go find a mare of your own?” I was well past being infuriated. I had been so intent with yelling at Rage that I hadn’t noticed my mare ‘Batel coming to my side till she was already touching me. At the light feel of her soft muzzle I felt myself clam. I pressed my body closer to hers for a second, needing the clear headedness that she gave to me. “We will never be allies, I have no trust in you. And I am kicking you out of these lands. I never want to see your being again.” My voice was deep and angered, almost insane with wrath.

Then the day turned even stormier as a two forms materialized. One I knew and one I didn’t. You should be happy, furball! If Asthela is going with Rage, I am going as well... - There will be none of this chatter, sister. You are to stay here and follow the orders of your rightful king, no buts about it. My head pounded, warning me that a headach was on the way. “I think we need to get something cleared up. Butterfly you can leave when ever you desire, I never claimed you so I am not your King. Follow who ever the white mare is I will not stop you.” Raising my large head I drapped my neck over my sweet mare ‘Batel’s. “Now back to you Rage. I suggest you leave my lands if you do not want to die. Because right now me killing you is looking really appealing.” Master Master Master, I despised that word more then anything ells in this word; and I had told Rage that before, yet he used it.</sup>

“Kill me if you want Zarian, its your choice.”

I waited for this stallion to strike me. I would put him out of his misery if he dared attack me. I didn’t want to battle my former master but if it came to it than I would. I stamped my hooves and waited again. I narrowed my eyes to stare at Zarian.

“Well will you attack me?”
My words had cruelty written in them. I was sick of waiting. If he refused to attack me than Asthela and I would go to our home.
“Well Zarian, what is your choice?”
