ATHENA another cog in the murder machine
With a snort and a sigh, Athena stepped into the strange land, glancing about warily with her blackened orbs, half expecting to be attacked by some form or another. So far, her stay at Midnight Acres had not been a good one. Just entering the forest had nearly gotten her killed by some stupid wolf on a territorial rampage, and, even worse than the darned wolf, it had seemed that she had stepped into the darker territories of Midnight Acres, which, in itself, was a rather bad piece of luck; encountering a dark was at the very bottom of her 'things-to-do-before-I-die' list. Thankfully, smelled the stench of death before she could take more than two paces into the land, Athena had wheeled away, and, after much gleeful sprinting, she had ended up in this territory, which, thankfully, was neutral. She could tell by the scents in the air; not too flowery, which suggested a light terra, but not death-like, which was obviously dark, but rather, a nice balance of blandly sweet floral and dark earth which had a strange calming effect.
Of course, being a mare, Athena was feeling rather moody today; her horrible luck had not done wonders for her pleasant surprise at finding Midnight Acres, instead making her irritable and irrationally peeved. She snapped agitatedly at a leaf dangling from a branch, satisfied when the limb snapped beneath the force of her jaws snapping shut. Now, normally, Athena was not prone to violence, but, at the moment, frustration being her predominant emotion, she really just wanted to let out her anger. Even with a name eliciting the thought of war, she was usually gentle and nice. She spit out the leaf, grimacing at the bitter taste, and trotting off toward the sound of gently rushing water, thirst desiccating her throat. Her long pillars easily brought her to the edge of the gently winding creek within mere seconds. Sighing in relief, as the glassy smooth water smoothed out the roughness of dehydration, Athena dipped her velvet muzzle into the running liquid again, this time drinking more deeply to wash away the bitter aftertaste of the spring leaf.

INTREPID I hear them calling king. Grey tinted pillars carried me slowly into the land. My mind was a blur, everything was. I was just recovering from my last Bipolar fit, that had occcured when i had met Echo, lastest daughter of Zarian, and mistaking her for Riku; the father of the deceased, Einjeru, my former lover. Black glints were barely open, harks perked forward a little, in a lazy gesture. I wasn't in the mood to be the dark twisted insane b.astard i was, today, i needed peace, somewhere to go and something to do to clear my deranged mind. As i walked slowly into Zukura brook, my nostrils slowly expanded as i took in the scent of a loner mare; as a natural act, a sly smirk spread across my jaw line and it tightened slightly, causing my fangs to grind within closed jaws. I gave a low, slightly angry snort harks twisted backward into my mane as black optics set foot on a lonely looking mare. I was confident, and always had been , i got it from my parents, king and queen of Hollow Woods, which was soon to be my realm. I didn't hestitate as i ssaw her angry features. "State your curse, mare. I be Intrepid, hier to Hollow Woods." I snarled, licking my lips. My health state slowly returning to normal as visions from the fit faded into nothing.

ATHENA strike a violent pose
Athena had been under the impression that she was quite alone, that no one had been around to witness her tempter tantrum, which she had fully intended to continue; perhaps kick a few trees, or snap at some irrationally happy butterflies. Now, it's not to say that the wrath of Athena was usually so laid back and altogether not scary. She was not actually ready to tear some unsuspecting equine's head off; she was merely frustrated, and, thus, her anger was not all that great. She just needed to vent. Her auds pricked instantly upon hearing the gentle footsteps of hooves crushing the spring grass, and her muscles contracted sporadically, her cranium snapping up, tensing her neck to glance about for the source of the noise. It turned out to be a chestnut stallion, not one of remarkable appearance, just a plain fiery brute standing there, with a smirk on his face.
She frowned, her ears flattening against the silky black tresses that adorned her regal neck, snorting delicately as his words reached her flickering ears. She hadn’t really gotten acquainted with the names of the local terras in Midnight Acres, so she really didn’t understand what was so important about being a heir to this ‘Hollow Woods’, but she suspecting she probably shouldn’t piss him off. His words were harsh and rather demanding, and just enough irritation lurked in her system to want to be a bitch. "State your curse, mare. I be Intrepid, hier to Hollow Woods." She laughed, a coarse laugh, a ‘how-stupid-are-you’ chuckle, especially designated to irk the uncivilized brute. Her ears flattened even further against her skull, and she stared haughtily down upon the stallion, who was much smaller than her 17 hand frame. The golden rule in life, was, of course, treat others the way you would like to be treated. Apparently, that age old wisdom had not been bestowed upon the barbaric male, and Athena fully intended to return some of his own medicine. "Give me on good reason I should spill my curse to such a clearly disrespectful brute," she asked in an emotionless tone, only the flicking of her tail showing her mild annoyance at his rudeness.

INTREPID I hear them calling king. She stood tall and proud, the kind of mare that would go far in my herd once i was king. I let an amused smirk spread across my lips. Her harks were flattened back into her mane, she was tense, her head was high. wait, was i really that intimidating?! I let loose a demonic cackle and stepped forward, slipping my silver frame close to hers, landing a playful nip on her belly before sliding back 'round and away from her. At her words, i must admit, i was partically charmed that she had the guts to speak to me in such a manner. Raising my eyebrow; i snorted in amusement and opened my kissers, vocals spilling out in an almost friendly tone. "Your new here right mare?" I stated, knowing i was right. My realm and my father were the most commonly known in the whole lands of midnight acres. Taking a small step forward, i looked her up and down, studying her frame. "Think yourself lucky i'm hunting for mares, and not prey." I laughed; keeping my eye on her, they glinted as i turned my skull ever so slightly, i was cocky, but yes, everyone knew it. When still, she said nothing; audits snapped back for a few moments, whilst i spoke, but i soon brought them forward, just incase she spoke again. "So, mare. I'l ask again. Who are you" A slightly more demanding tone than the first time. ooc Word Count: 257 Comments: Treppy is maximal sabino (appearing grey) not chestnut <3

ATHENA we'll make 'em pay for the things they did
She ignored his crack about her newness, since it was just an insult on her intelligence. She snapped angrily, sidestepping swiftly as the silver brute closed his ivories on the tender skin covering her ribs, slashing at his retreating figure with her tail angrily. Her ears flickered back to flatten themselves against her nape, lost from view as her tossing mane quickly covered her flattened auds. He was barbaric, and the fact that he was a dark stallion was rather obvious, because, a) he was 'heir' to some Hollow Woods, a name that alluded to his darker alliance, and b) there was an angry menace that lurked in the depths of his orbs that implied his evil nature. That, and his overconfidence and arrogant idiocy had put Athena in quite a terrible mood.
"Think yourself lucky i'm hunting for mares, and not prey," He snapped, mood souring once again. Athena grinned, her ears once again perking up, as she countered his threat with on of her own: "Think yourself lucky I came wanting peace, not war." It was true that, although Athena was of the light allegiance, she was quite good at war, as one with her curse ought to have been. And besides, she was a good 2 hands taller than this weak silver stag, and probably faster. But she was not in the mood to tear the equine's head of, so she settled for flicking her tail irritably. "So, mare. I'l ask again. Who are you." His tone was more demanding this time around, but she was not budged by the menace in this voice; if he wanted to know her name, he would have to work for it. Being rude to her was not the way to achieve that. And, since she was feeling rather witty this morning, she decided a game of riddles would suffice. "Fine. If you feel that knowing my name is just so imperative to your peace of mind, I'll tell you. I am heiress of Mount Olympus, commander of the troops, possessor of wit and wisdom beyond your petty comprehension. I'll give you two guesses," She finished, a demonic leer descending upon her usually serene facade.
ooc;; my badness, I accidently deleted this reply, so it it not the same as the original one. SORRY!! ><

INTREPID
I hear them calling king. A sly smirk spread across my jaw line as she squealed and stepped smartly away; but i'd make sure she didn't leave. With a small toss of my skull, i leapt forward towards her, ivories clacking together just short of her muzzle. My way of saying "your not getting away" A glint of danger shone through my pure ebon optics, and i locked my gaze with hers. She was much like Droja, my mistress, insome ways. And i had to admit i was pretty intrigued by her. When she spoke, i couldn't help the low laugh that came from mystained kissers. I cocked my skull and smiled, replying in an almost friendly tone, yet it still held power and dominance. "If its war you want, darling. It's war you'll get. So i'l let you choose, if you wish to fight, go ahead. If not, we shall talk for longer." Again, a slightly amused smirk spread across my lips as i sensed her anger rising some more. jessh was i that bad?! A lump formed in my throat as she spat her next words at me; my brain thumped against its cage, making me wince as the pain shot through my cranium. "Well. Athena...it seems you have found my weakness...with such questions and riddles i am confused easily, for i have the disorder of Bipolar." I spilled, almost without thinking. But now, hopefully she would calm a little, now i had spilled a little about myself, she should return the favour. Why was it that whenever i spoke to someone about my disorder i changed, my mood always softened and my mind opened up to other discoveries. I sent her a flashnig smile, and spoke again, this time, in a calm tone. "So, what are you doing out here?" I asked, licking at my muzzle and awaiting a reply. Character: Intrepid Word Count: 338 Status: Complete Comments: Gahh! Athena is confusing *pets* poor treppy...he has a weak mind don't give him riddles to solve! Sorry it took so long. ATHENA maybe they'll leave you alone, but not me
She huffed in annoyance as Intrepid snapped at her with one of those glares mares give their little wayward foals: Stay! It was rather demeaning to know that he thought of her as a weak creature that would just lay down meekly and follow any and all orders from a brute she barely knew. But she was rather bored of the whole charade, and she ignored his attempt to at controlling her movements. She took a step forward, circling away from his silver form, to snatch some juicy looking blades of grass, before sidling back toward the brute, stopping further from his figure to catch the uttered words. "If its war you want, darling. It's war you'll get. So i'l let you choose, if you wish to fight, go ahead. If not, we shall talk for longer," He spat in a mock friendly voice. Athena laughed darkly; princess of war she might be, but she didn't want war. She never had.
Shaking her head, she lowered her cranium again to glare at him. "I don't want war. Nobody wants war; it is the first resort of the incompetent, and never an option for the wise. It seems, though, that Midnight Acres is home to many of the former, and few of the latter. So I shall wish to speak for longer, since it is my forte," She answered in a jesting voice, clearly alluding to his weaker mind with her apparently harmless smile. "Well. Athena...it seems you have found my weakness...with such questions and riddles i am confused easily, for i have the disorder of Bipolar," Answered Intrepid, almost too fast; it seemed involuntary. She snorted at his answer; that explained his mood swings. "Be that as it may, you have still guessed my identity, so perhaps you are not so limited by your disorder as you believe," Retorted Athena with a shake of her head, glancing slyly over at the silver stallion.
"So, what are you doing out here?" He asked again, his mood seeming to be much less threatening than before, a change that alarmed the coal black mare. Just minutes before, he seemed positively murderous, and now? He was almost. . . happy? She couldn't place the new mood, but it was disconcerting in itself. Her breath whistled out of her lungs, and she relaxed a little bit, expecting his mood to shift again, for the worse, though she remained calmer than before. "I came for some peace and quiet; Dekera Falls, that blasted place, offers nothing but pompous stallions that wish to take me home. I found this place after a spell of running, and then, well, you know the rest," She finished, looking at him expectantly, an expression halfway between a confused frown and a lukewarm smile tugging at her facade.
ooc;; sorreh! he figured it out, anyways. XD Sorry mine took so long, too. ><
