[glow=green,2,300] Y A R R A M A N [/glow]
It was mid afternoon and a rather disgusting day, well to me at least. The sun was bright and the sky was scattered with white puffs of clouds. Bird’s filled the skies with their love songs, and the light equines seemed to be everywhere. My dappled pillars stretched out before me as I trotted along the parched ground. I missed the winter, and the rain it made Taunting Marshes well marsh like. And there was nothing better then torturing all the unfortunate beings that got stuck in the mud. It was one of the many reasons I chose the terra, it was perfect for my spawn to get their first taste of blood, although I was only a father of one that would change with the upcoming fall. But, Cocaine enjoyed this particular aspect of the land as well. My god was she turning into her mother. I just hoped she had a different outcome, hell I would make sure she did.
Sophie. She was a magnificent creature, full of evil and love to kill. Her temper was hot and there was never a dull moment in her presence. She was my first queen, and she set the standers high. Ya I know what you are thinking I claim to be a great ruler yet I have only had one queen and one spawn. But here is the irony I had many bands. Figure that one out… Give up? Ok well I grew up with two other stallions Zinzabar and Falken and we where the three musketeers of trouble. But anyways, the three of us ruled together and each took a job that a single ruler would have. I was the warrior, Zinzabar the strategizer and Falken the claimer. My two amigos covered the mares, but I had no desire to it seemed to me that they all got too attached, and commitment wasn’t my thing. So that was my life for a few years and just like the years before I got bored and well here I am at Midnight Acres. But anyways back to Sophie. Our time together was cut short for just shy of Cocaine’s first birthday my lovely bitch was killed by Riku the bastard of Black Lake. Here is the best part though… not only did he kill my queen but he took my daughter as a slave and I just got her back. So now the war is on, but first I need a little information on this well for lack of a better word… fucker.
(ecuse his french)
I had heard from my spies that Chaos the king of Hollow Woods also had Riku as an enemy so I figured I would see if he could help me out. Now I wasn’t looking to be buddies or anything, I mean please me befriend another stallion? I just knew that this chestnut equine had been one of the first equines to arrive at MA and therefore would know what irked Riku and why he had killed Sophie. For his killing was not random, he didn’t have the balls for that.
Slowing to a walk I flared my nares and took in the scents around me, Hollow Woods entrance was up ahead and this terra like my own had the sweet smell of death. I stopped a few feet from where Chaos had started to claim his domain, I was wise enough to not trodden on a stallion’s terra. Now don’t go thinking it was because I was afraid for that was the farthest thing from the truth, it was just plain old rude to trespass. I demanded respect from others and i was not a hypocrite therefore I gave it back. Tossing my head I arched my neck and parted my maw. Chaos, king of Hollow Woods. This is Yarraman ruler of Taunting Marshes. I have come to speak with you. Vocals where baritone and dark, so pretty much the usual; I didn’t put in any pizzazz I didn’t have to prove myself to anyone I knew who I was what anyone else thought didn’t matter. So there I stood in the shadow of the tress, my dappled gray arabian body reflecting the rays of the wretched sun, my senses honed for this was unfamiliar territory who knew how the inhabitants would act.

{ c h a o s You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. Things had been none other than perfect int he lands recently. With the harsh winter leaving the death-like place with little food supplies. it really did challenge the eqwuines living here, but of course, all had manged, they were the strongest herd around, no doutedly the biggerest, and likely the darkest. I had owned the famous title for years now The darkest stallion to roam these lands. It made me chuckle, really; was i that bad?! Sure, i would torture lights, and other creatures, fight for the sake of it, but i wasn't pure evil and i would be delighted to meet such an equine that thought they were. The day was rising, all was quiet, no birds or heavenly creatures dared roam into Hollow woods, for the trees were that tightly packed together in places that the sun rays never reached the ground, casting the place in darkness most of the time. There was, however a few clearings, and a rather rocky area to the south of the lands that got plenty of sunlighht, this was where the freshest water and the most lushious herbs grew. Personally, i preferred the damp moss and thick water that could be found deep in the forest. I lurked in the shadows in the East, my firey figure prowling, stalking, almost, through the ferns. I kept my black eyes narrowed slightly, and audials tipped back, nostrils were flared, to take in any scent. I was alert, as i always was. The fresh scent of a rotting carcass entered my nares and a low rumble of a cackle escaped my maw. It was no other than Cracken, the ex-leader of the wolf pack that roamed the lands. He and his pack had advanced on Emira, the heiress of the lands, it was an excuse to slaughter him. My stalk around the terrian was stopped abruptly as a loud call travelled from the north of the lands. not being far away, i could smell him, a dark, it was obvious, he held the stench of a dark equine, a mix of blood and death. much like myself. Padded muscular neck arched and my harks flickered in their backward position. This Yarramn spoke with a hint of peace in his voice, therefore, it was no trouble him being here; well, to a certain extent. My skull rasied elegantly as i strolled forward to a small cleared area on the ground. Overhead, the blue sky could not be seen, only the green leaves, and a few ravens came to settle on the lower branches close to where i had halted. "Come forward, Yarraman. 'Tis Choas, the king." My hoarse tone seeped throughout the land, it was his reply. I was no longer than ten minutes away from this other. So i waited, black opticals fixed on the direction his scent came from. Hakrs stayed in the backward position, skull was up, alert, neck arched in a way Arabians could. I showed every sign of dominance here. No backing down, i was a tough strong and also wise brute. Everyone must know that.

As I waited my orbs watched a young wolf pup stalk a clueless hair. It was quite comical, watching him, he was trying so hard to make sure he didn’t put a foot out of place. It was inevitable that he would miss however, for the rabbit would be too fast and to cunning. But almost opposite of the pup was an adult wolf, probably they bitch who birthed him, and the rabbit would run right into her waiting jaws.
When the wind shifted I brought my gaze away from the hunt and to Hollow Woods. My scent was now being carried towards those who lived in the realm, and they had the upper hand. A rolling sound came from within the terra before me. The vocals like mine where dark and domineering. My erect auds caught every word that the stallion had said and so without hesitation I crossed the barrier into Hollow Woods. I didn’t think twice about my actions, for there was no sense of danger or a tone of deceit in Chaos’s voice. But yet again if there was I still would have entered just to see what he had up his sleeve. Trotting forward the chestnuts scent became stronger, and as it did I slowed to a walk and glanced around me.
I turned my dished dial as a branch snapped up ahead, but as a neared the source of the noise I found a fawn. My first instinct was to kill it, but I pushed it to the side. I was here for one reason and one reason only to find the weaknesses or Riku. And yes every equine had a weakness and those who said they didn’t were the weakest of them all. Dapples gray pillars carried my forward in a steady walk and within a matter of minutes Chaos came into my vision.
Halting a god three feet in front of the stallion I looked him over; not in a challenging way it was just something that I did with all equines. Like myself he was of pure arabian blood lines and his chestnut coat was fiery red with the rays of the sun. He stood with his neck arched and auds laid back- the stance of dominance. I don’t know why he felt he had to show that he was the boss here, I knew that. And in my opinion he should have known that I knew- for id I didn’t I would have just entered without permission. But that was besides the point.
Keeping my unaggressive stance, auds forward, neck relaxed I parted my light gray maw to speak. Chaos. I have heard that you are enemies with Riku. Last fall he killed my queen Sophie and captured my daughter. I paused… this being nice well at least friendly to another stallion wasn’t easy. I know that you where one of the first equines in Midnight Acre, and in order to get Riku back I need some information on him. And I was wondering if you would be willing to share what you have on him. My vocals where dark and evil as always and held no emotion, for if they did it would have been domineering; amd that was the last thing I wanted.

{ c h a o s You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. The others scent became much stronger as the minutes passed by. My harks flickered forward a little when he walked into veiw. He was of arabian blood, pure, by the looks of things. One good point. I let loose a low grunt then snorted, as he came to a halt a resonable distance away. He looked me over, and i did him. He was relaxed, therefore no threat, i too, relaxed a little, yet my powerful muscles still itched under my skin, wanting to be used. My chestnut pelt quivered slightly as bloodsuckers landed on my firey frame. An angry grunt escaped my kissers and i snapped my cord around for the fly to meet his death. My attention turned back to the dappled stallion infront of me. I stared at him with demanding eyes, even though i knew he was of no harm, i never backed down to others. Audits tipped forward at his words, then snapped back at the mention of Riku. Slowly retreating forward again as he asked for information and help. I took one step forward and nodded, a sly smirk spreading across my jaw. "Indeed, Yarraman. This Riku is a fool. And yes, i do have some information that you may require. It could come in useful. however, I paused, staring at him with cold eyes. "In return I demand a sort of treaty between our two lands. i have big plans for the future, and i would be all the more grateful if you agreed." I hissed at him in a low yet clear tone. A soft snort came loose and i continued to keep my hard cold opticals locked onto his. " I do believe Riku is rather insane. He has two personalities. the light one, the one that is seen most of the time, and this dark other that lives off him. I have reason to believe that this other wants to stop Riku becoming attached to another. prehaps if Riku shows too much emotion; the other being inside him will disappear." I explained. it was my point of veiw. I had faith in my spies, this was how i knew so much about most here on Midnight Acres. My attention shifted from the brute as a young deer came bouncing towards us. Harks snapped back and i lunged out, pouncing forward, grabbing the fae by her neck and twisting it around sharp. Hearing the deafening crunch, i smirked, her lifeless body at my feet, as i let the carcass fall from my jaw, to my hooves. Deer where such fragile creatures, it took no effort to murder them; however i couldn't have such fragile and weak creatures living in my land.

So there we stood two great kings, with the same enimie both trying to remain calm and not draw blood. This was certantly odd, well for me at least. In all my life I would have never thaught that I would go to another stallion for well help. But I wanted to get Riku back so bad that it called for carefull plaining. And I would go to any lengths to get my revenge. I scanned the area around me, when I sensed that Chaos had slighly relaxed. His terra was as dark as mine but it didn't have the same feeling of being watched. And I loved that feeling. My boa turned back to the chestnut stag as I heard his jaws snap together. I saw the slightest glipse of the fly in his grasp and then it was gone. That action was a dayly practice in Taunting Marshes in the summer the flies where bad escpecailay in the east. As Chaos spoke I gave him my attention and dipped my head when he called Riku a fool. I couldn't agree more Chaos although my choice of words for him would be more broad then yours. When he finished speaking a paused and mulled his propostion over. I think that a treaty between our two lands would be a fair thing. For why make enimies in eachother when we already share the same one. Pausing I returned Chaos cold stare my dark blue orbs became just as pericing has his black ones. I assume that you have an idea for the treaty... My mind begain to turn at the possibilities.
Our gazes remined locked as Chaos spoke and my assumptions of the Black Lake mutt where confermied. I had always suspected something different about him... but I just couldn't put my mind to it. I paused and whent to speak but was cut off by Chaos change in attidtude. I followed his stare to the fawn that I had wanted to kill earlier. And the urge to hunt returned. But I restrened the thirst for blood even as it dripped off Chaos mug. So is there one equine that he seemes to be specifiacly attached to? I knew of most of Rikus herd members. He had a queen a heir and a heriss and one other colt that had been absent from Midnight Acres for a while. But the relationship between him and his members was not known and for my plain to work it needed to be known.

{ c h a o s You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. I flashed a twisted smirk over at the dappled stallion when he spoke of the treaty. So it was agreed, now, the secrets would spill. My dished skull remained still, but my thick neck arched a little before i spoke. My black optics staring deep into his deep blue ones. "Yes, I have an idea. You see, looking at you; your lines, attitude. Your much like me, and i wil ltake a stab in the dark that your herd members are similar. Therefore, born to fight, and to kill. Correct?" I questioned him, with a wise look in my eye. The years were floating by, and with each year, i grew wiser, stronger, more dark. I cleared my throat, before carrying on with my speech. "My plan; Yarraman, is to take over Midnight Acres, starting with the lights, capturing them as slaves; mating, and bringing their spawn up against them; feed them lies about their mothers, do anytihng to create the devil inside them. Do you understand?" I asked. hopefully, he would, so i wouldn't have to go into too much detail; but i would be happy to answer any questions. "Now, back to your herd. I do beleive my spawn and yours could go together; judging by the outcomes so far, i think it will be a fantastic idea; the stronger we are, the better. These lights can get nasty at times you know." I couldn't help but cackle at my own words as i spilled them in a mocking tone. Now i had discussed this plan with the allie, i felt even closer to accomplishing it. Back to Riku: as he spoke of the silver stallion, i let a sly grin spread across my face and let loose a short nod. "Yes, i do beleive he is attached to the bay mare; goes by Jaylia i think. I take it your planning your revenge to take place on her account?" I asked, an excited tint in my voice; i was always more alive when the blood and death talk came about.

As the time passed I began to relax more, but I didn't get to comfortable. Yes I was beginning to trust this stallion but only beginning. Plus who knew what would happen if others from his herd found me perhaps they would attack. I doubted it, however I had never in my life let down my guard and that wouldn't change; especially today. Even though we had reached a treaty and had joined forces we stared one another in the eyes looking for some kind of ill thought. We were a lot alike, nether trusting the other for we knew the damage the opposite could do. It was great, I loved having a suitable match. Just think of all the fun I could have had if he was the one who killed Sophie. But yet again my life here would have been filled with constant battles for neither him nor I would be satisfied until one of us was killed by the other. It was odd now that I thought about it. For Riku and I were almost the spitting image of each other. But in personality we couldn't be more different. And yet with Chaos it was the complete opposite. Like before I listened to is words, allowing each to be mulled over as the entered through my orbs. I wanted to make sure I was agreeing to something I approved of. I knew that with Chaos there was no room for mistakes for I was the same way. Correct Chaos. Only one mistake you would be like me. It was a small joke. For once again neither of us would say we where like someone else we whee to good for that. So they were always like us. As the chestnut stallion spilled his plan, my pelt twitched from the excitement. Just the thought of the killing of the lights, and having a land with pure dark equines. It would be like hell. Your plan Chaos. Is brilliant. It will be time consuming and tricky. But with us at the lead; there will be no flaws. I paused, for there was one question that popped into my head. What about the neutrals? I paused and then decided to answer my own question. I say we kill off the ones who posses the lighter trait. And keep the younger ones who have the potential to be dark. For the older ones would be to much of a worry. I would understand if he didn't agree for after all it was his plan. And the thought was just a thought. I couldn't agree more Chaos. Although I only have one daughter. She is a true dark and I believe she and your daughter Lilith have taken up a... friendship of sorts. My tones had become somewhat warmer to the stallion before me. I liked his ways. He would be a brilliant allie. I had made a great move incoming her.
I have a few plans for my revenge but attacking his queen has been my favorite. However I will not kill her. For it would only please me. I paused and laughed demonically as I visioned the mare after I finished with her. My plan is to cause her excruciating pain. Put her on the edge of death. For I want Riku to have to see her suffer. It will cause him much more pain. Oh how brilliant I was. I would just love to see the look on Riku's face when his queen came home barley alive.

I still continued to look at the brute oppisite me, but as i saw his muscles relax a little, i copied, showing him i was now beginning to accept his presence. I took my eyes off him for a few miutes, studying the dead fawn carcass that lay by my feet. I let loose a chuckle, and turned my attention back to the dappled one. "Yes, Yarraman, of course, the plan will go well with such dark leaders to control the situation." I agreed, with a brief nod to him. A sly smirk spread across my jaw line; we were chatting asif we were 'friends' now. But could that be possible? Could two dark equines really rule alongside each other in an allie? I was beginning to trust him, the look i got from his eyes was trustworthy, wether he ment to show it or not. I gave him the same look. Yes, he could trust me; he had been brave enough to come to my realm uninvited, he needed courage for that, and i rescpeted it for him.
As he spoke about my daughter Lilith, and his own, the one i beleived to be a captured slave, i gave a confused frown, and looked at Yarramn. "If your daughter is anything like Lilith, then both will go far in eachothers company." I licked at my maw, and waited for him to speak once more.

EXOR.CISM I'VE COME IN PEACE. Waking from his trance as he marked his territory borders of Devil's Creek, he peered over to watch the two kings on the neightboring land. In his mind he had contemplated on whether or not he was welcome over there with them, but he'd take his chances, wouldn't he? There was an upcoming war, so maybe alliances is what he needed right now. Stepping forward, he threw up his crania in a proud manner and moved in at a gentle walk, pausing beside Yarraman with a snort.
Evening Chaos, evening Yarraman. I am Exorcism, king of Devil's Creek, mind if I join in? he asked with a cock of his dome, locking his legs below him to indicate he wasn't going anywhere. Nape lowered to listen to their plans and plotting, one aud cocked on Yarraman and one on Chaos, in whom he considered his 'idol'. *scoff*

As the time went passed the atmosphere around us stallions became colder and darker, but hell that's how we liked it. To me anything that was could and dark was brilliant. The one exception being blood, just the thought of the warm liquid running down my throat caused my orbs to flash with evil. However, I brushed the emotion away and nodded to the chestnut before me. I didn't want Chaos to think that the look was for him.
I listened as my new allie spoke and easily read the source of his smirk. I had been wondering the same thing. For as stallions we where power hungry, it was just the way we where built. So after this great plane was completed would we be able to co-exist or would we end up plotting against each other? I thought we could; I could accomplish any thing when my mind was set on doing so. And I could tell that Chaos was the same way."I think that they will do good in one and others company" I went to speak again, but my actions ceased as the smell of another stallion reached my nares. It was a new scent one that I knew wasn't familiar to Hollow Woods for I had been sure to capture the scent of all the equines as I passed through the land. As the black stallion came into view my thorns snapped back. It was a mere warning to him, that I would not stand for any crap. Feeling that the message was clear I raised my auds to catch his words. Ha so he was the newest amongst the dark stallions. Well he had decided to allie with the right side. The stronger side. I nodded towards the new arrival but didn't speak. After all this was Chaos land, and I would allow him to set the tone.

CHAOS You could spill a thousand words and none would mean a thing. As the day drew to an end, i felt the conversation between us had dropped to mere gestures and the odd comment. I gave a cold snort and watched around the area. Now the land came alive. In the day, it was just the ordinary dull, musty hell hole, but in the night, it was fantastic. Wolves came out of hiding, hoping to catch a stray, wandering lost. For the trees and pathways could lead one in circles, and the way the branches rested in the thick bush overhead was like an illusion. Many had tried to make it into the land alone, many had failed. Not many had managed to find the center clearing, where most would find a herd member, so when the new scent of a bastard reached my nostrils, i was shocked, yet extremely angry. When the black one came into veiw, my audits snapped back and i took a few powerful steps towards him, black optics narrowed to dangerous slits. Before he could even open his mouth to speak, i clacked my fangs in his direction, and spoke, my voice low, yet clear, it was almost haunting. "Bastard, don't you think it is a little unwise to wander upon my territory? Uninvited, at that." I spat, snorting a loud and clear warning that i was extremely pisse doff that he didn't call for me at the edge of the realm, like any other would of done. I turned to Yarraman when he spoke, and nodded, yet i gave him a look that almost said "shut up!" for i didn't want this intruder to get any information from us, he could be a spy for Riku, and even if he wasn't, he was not yet welcome until he satisfied my opinions. When he spoke; i let out a low warning grunt, one that told him i wasn't happy, one that said that if he didn't give me a reasonable explanation for intruding, i would kill him. "What brings you here, Exorcism?" I asked, my tones still rough towards him, yet they held curiosity. I glanced back at Yarraman and smirked, what would he have to say about him? He had parked himself right next to him, which amused me, like a lost child begging for protection. I let loose a quiet demonic laugh, before returning my black optics to the new arrival. Okay, walking into another king's realm was far from right, but he couldn't help but overhear the words they spoke between each other. A war, eh? Hmph, as far as he was concerned he'd come to simply make allies with the two kingdoms, but if he wasn't welcomed in their book he'd simply leave without a fight. He didn't mean them any harm unless he absolutely had to, but who knew him that well?
Chaos, do not be angry with me. I could not help but overhear your words of war. I've come to make allies and most likely assist you, if you may. he began to explain, fanning his ears out aside his head to glare upon both kings with resigned calmness. I glanced from between them, one auditory trained on Yarraman and one on Chaos.
