The identical pair moved at a relatively brisk pace. Both were spotted, although the size difference was apparent. They could be nothing less than mother and daughter. Both wore smiles, spreading wide across their kissers. Long stilts moved with grace, while short stilts moved with wobbling steps, but they still kept up. Ava's pleasant features were fatigued, but they remained strong and joyful for her daughter. She'd already named her, after the valley. She hoped that Monte didn't mind so much. The name originated from the spotted horse's language; Taya, meaning the valley.

Taya's bright green orbs curiously investigated the large lands, but she clung to her mother's side after her warning: "Don't stray from me until we get home dear. It's not safe." Blinking against the bright sun, the young tyka moved forward at an unsteady canter, and she wobbled ahead of her mother. Stilts rocked with unease over the rough terrain, and she had to slow before falling on her face completely. Emerald orbs caught sight of the large valley for which she was named from. Aerials twitched, listening to the distant sounds of birds singing, muffled by the roar of a waterfall. Taya's tiara tipped towards her mother, and when her mother nodded her spotted crown, Taya charged forward, wispy tresses sticking straight up. Her tail was kinked with high spirits as she galloped, er well, ran towards her new home.

"Hello?! Anybody there?"

Taya's high pitched, elegant vocals rung out into the world before her. She glanced back towards her mother, and bounced towards her, nursing with a quenched hunger. She flicked her stubby tail, and then looked around, green orbs glittering with a mischevious interest. Mom had said something about two other foals being here- where were they? And where was daddy? Oh, there was so much to do!

ooc; I went ahead and skipped rping Ava. She'll appear when the baby gets hungry, or when Monte comes. xD

Obession

Sess stood next to his grazing sister, who was sneezing alot lately. She moved a little away towards a dandelion and sneezed on that too, which made the seeds fly every which way. Sess giggled and started to chase them, while his sister laughed and then joined in. He heard someone calling and followed the sound to a Ava and a filly. Sess was shocked. He appraoched carefully as to not scare the filly. Hello there. I'm Sess. Whats your name? he asked, sweetly. He looked round at his sister who was grazing again and still sneezing.

Fuzzy aerials, coated in her baby fluff pricked forward, seeing an approaching figure. It was little, like herself. Would she have a friend? The little foal that approached suddenly wasn't so little. He was much older than little Taya, who was barely old enough to walk around, let alone talk. And he was cute. He seemed to have been growing out of his baby fur, and it revealed a dark ebony coat. Soft smile spread across Taya's kissers, and she frolicked forward, her stilts reaching over the knee high emerald green grass. The colt spoke first, and Taya's smile grew, and she fluttered her stubby tail against her spotted hide before speaking.

"Hi, I'm Taya! Do you live here?"

She questioned, raised her tiara up to look at Sess. She smiled joyfully, and then thought, her emerald orbs shining. What could they play? Tag? Play in the water? There was too much to do, and her mind couldn't handle all of the possibilities. She looked back at her mother, who watched quietly from a serene pot in the valley, then she started forward, closer towards the colt. She pranced a circle around him, and spoke, her vocals sweet and unconcerned.

"Do you wanna play?"

Her voice came out as an excited tone, and Taya's thin stilts pushed her forward into the ebony colt. Her dished tiara reached forward and she pushed at Sess' dark barrel, before taking a few steps away, and bolting off, rocking on thin stilts. She giggled, and looked at her mother, then Sess, smiling brightly.

The question made Sess ponder a few moments. He hurled the question around in his head, that he hadn't noticed she had asked him to play and she was moving round him. I guess you could say I lived here but...OUCH! hecried as she butted him the barrel. He looked up at her and smiled as she ran of giggling. He chased after her and was so close he almost got her. She was younger than him and much more faster. He ran out of breath quickly and slowed down a bit. He gasped alittle then ran towards her again.

Through the fire and flames we carry on..

My dial tipped forward slightly and rasied at the sound of a new voice in the valley, raising my head a little higher, my nares quivered, Ava has dissapeared a few days earlier, i guessed she was ready to foal. Ever since the moment she left, i had had butterflies skittering around my stomach. Snorting loudly, i tossed my crown and whinnied loudly, taking off at a collected canter across from the woods to near the waterfall, where their voices were coming from. Whinnying again as i set eyes of Ava, i slowed to a prancing trot and tossed my head like the lively youngster i was. At first, my eyes didn't rest on Obsessi9on and the filly. But as the sweet scent of birth rested in my nostrils, i stopped dead and glanced around, seeing Obsession and a filly, this must be Ava's foal! My green tinted orbs lit up, they seemed to glow and glint as they caught the suns rays. Ava..she's..magical..amazing..perfect.. My words were none above a whisper, i was too shocked to speak, my first baby, mine and Ava's first born child. I swallowed, and walked over to ava, watching the filly. What is her name? I asked, nuzzling her neck gently and closing my eyes, but not for too long, as i couldn't keep my gaze off my daughter.

Ava's black spotted aerials tipped forward when she caught the approaching sounds of hooves. She couldn't identify them at first, and so she wandered a few steps closer to Taya and Sess for protection. Her light orbs scanned the horizon ahead of her, and then she finally saw what made the noise. It was the black arabian whom she'd made her home with. A joyous smile spread across her kissers, and her frame took prancing steps closer towards Monte. Her tiara reached out and nuzzled his, listening to his words of praise for their daughter. Their child. "She's magical...amazing...perfect." Ava had imagined the same things when she saw Taya. Slinging her neck over Monte's, she gave a heavy sigh, and then replied sweetly. Her vocals were overlapped by her nicker for her daughter.

"Monte, her name's Taya. In my language, it means Sacred Valley."

Meanwhile, Taya bounced around on her long stilts and giggled, hearing Sess chase after her. She lowered her head in determination, trying to run faster without getting her legs tangled, and her resulting in falling. She slowed down slightly, nares inhaling the sweet air, trying to breathe and run at the same time, but she tired, and slowed to a prancing beat, seeing Sess approach. She squealed playfully, and rose up into the air on her hind legs, then slipped and ended up sitting down. She snorted, giggled, and then stood up, shaking.

"Come get-"

She started to exclaim, but she faltered and broke off, seeing her mother standing next to, and embracing a large black stallion. She swallowed, and then heard her mother nicker. She was a little cautious, and her emerald orbs turned to meet Sess, and then she replied again.

"Is that your daddy?"

She questioned, moving closer to the pair of adult equine, curiously staring at the dark arabian who had the same color orbs as hers. She gave a soft smile, and lowered her tiara.

Sess watched the filly slow down and slowed down to her side. He looked over at Ava and Monte and he sighed. He's not my father, but he's yours. he said, thinking about his own father. He followed the filly towards the couple and he dipped his head and gave a knicker to Monte, and knickered kindly to Ava. He stepped back as the filly got closer to them. He turned as he heard his sister approach. He knickered to her and smiled. Faye came to his side and listened to the couple as they fawned over their child. He too listened but he was more discreet, as he watched the filly. He realised his eyes were the same as her fathers, they were bold and stood out. Such as a sweet ting she was, he thought.

We're flying, we're free

I couldn't help but feel the happiest i'd ever felt as ava slung her neck over mine and nuzzled me, our daughter came quickly, obviously curious, with Obsession by her side, i turned my head around to ava's and snickered, then took a few steps forward, lowering my crown to taya's level, i closed my eyes for a few seconds, inhaling her sweet scent, my scent, and ava's, mixed, like a family. I opened my eyes, and smiled. Hello, Taya, I am Montè, your father.. So desperatly i wanted to embrace her, but i knew at this point, it was too soon, she'd be scared, all foals were on first meetings.
I turned to Obsession, he was near enough my son, i loved him too, but the love i felt ffor Taya was a different one. Greetings young one, Obsession. How are you? I asked, maybe now he had made friends with Taya and he was a little more mature he would talk more with me.

Fuzzy aerials listened when Sess spoke. Taya's orbs brightened, so this was her daddy! But Sess seemed sad, and she heard him sigh. Her dished tiara turned to look at the black colt, and her throat vibrated in a playful nicker, trying to brighten up the mood. Emerald orbs then returned to her mother and father, and she scampered a few steps forward, her wobbly limbs complying, for once. She giggled, the smile melting on her face when her father stepped forward. Her body grew tight, and she remained frozen to the spot while her father looked her over, and she did the same. He didn't look like a bad guy. And when he spoke, his handsome voice lingered around her for a few moments, and then Taya's smile returned. He was a good guy! Her limbs danced in place, and she chirped out her own vocals, oblivious to the fact that her father already knew her name.

"Hi Daddy! I'm Taya!"

As soon as she finished speaking her oblivious words, Taya's long spotted limbs bounced off, and she retreated back towards Sess and the new filly that had arrived. She smiled in surprise at the sight of the identical brother and sister, and then promptly moved to hide behind them to stare at her mother and father. All thoughts of the game they left behind were forgotten, and before long, she was trying to imaine new games that they could play, when she heard her father speak again, this time, it wasn't to her. "Greetings young one, Obsession. How are you?" Curiously, she raised her dished tiara, emerald orbs looking in Sess' direction. Where was his daddy? Why wasn't his daddy here? So many questions!

"C'mon, let's go play."

Taya mentioned, but she too remained still, watching Sess. Reaching forward, giggling, she pushed at his barrel, and smiled.

We're free before the thunderstorm..

I smiled as Taya bounded around, she was obviously full off energy and wanted to play. Never mind, there would be time for bonding later. Right now, all i wanted to do was be with Ava. I loved her so much, and Taya too, but she had taken an instant liking to Obsession, and i wasn't about to pull her away.
Nickering to my daughter, i waited for an answer off obsession, then turned towards Ava, i was speechless, my mouth was bone dry, but somehow, i managed to swallow, then whisper a single word Thankyou It was all i could mange, i walked to her side and put my head under hers. My beautiful queen had brought home our princess
