For the nights all so wasted and gone..
[/center][/i] So it had been decided! At last, the family had accepted my offer, they would come and live with me and Ava for a while. Not only would it be more company, but also, i wanted them to be safe, they were all so sweet, and i would only blame myself if anything happened to them. Vivacious, the mother, she was quiet, butr seemed to have warmed to me, Faye, the older filly, seemed curious, not just of me, but of everything, she would be wise when she was a little older. Obsession, he was such a quiet colt, he hadn't said a word, even when i had spoken to him..Prehaps having a new home would liven his spirits. Sighing, i slowed from my canter to a walk as i entered my lands, i looked around to the following family and nickered to them telling them we were home now. I smiled, and turned my head back in the direction we were going. Would they like it here? I hoped so, there was plenty room for them, plenty food, more than enough shelter, water was neverending, due to the waterfall and large deep pool. I stopped my travels near a flock of trees, further in, there was a set of caverns, i had spent the past few days exploring them, there was cracks of light that shone through, reflecting off the water streams that trickled though. The ground there was sandy, making it a comfortable place to rest. I lowered my crown to the ground and hungrily snatched up a few mouthfuls of lushious long grass. In other lands, i had noted the food was less vegetational, the grass was a yellow colour, the water supplies down to a mere trickle, the leaves off the trees and bushes fell helplessly to the ground and crumbled under weight...However, here, because of the shelter, the food still shone rich. I turned to the family and smiled at all of them Welcome to The Forgotton Valley, I do hope you like it here. I smiled at the mare, she must of trusted me to bring her family here, when she hardly knew me. [Montè will call for Ava to come after a few posts =D] [/blockquote][/blockquote][/sup][/color]

Vivacious
Viva watched her children as they ran ahead and looked round. Viva came up to Montè's side and looked round. This place is quite...spectacular. It's so beautiful! she said, watching Faye chase a butterfly while Sess watched. She smiled and sighed. The air was fresh, fresher than Caesar's land.
Obsession
Sess smiled as his sister ran ahead of him. He watched her chase the butterfly and giggled. He ran after her and pushed his nose into her mane. TAG! he shouted, running away. He ran past his mother and laughed.
Faye
Faye followed after her brother, running past the adults and screaming with joy. She jumped at her brother and skidded into his. GOT YOU! she screamed, before running away.

We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days...
I smiled as the pair of youngsters ran off, and i watched them play for a little while, hearing the colt speak for the first time caught my attention..I hoped he would soon become brave, and we could have many great conversations with him.
Turning my crown back to Viva, i sighed, inhaling her sweet scent, Yes, it is a truely magical place to be I replied, chuckling to myself as the youngsters could be heard screaming happily in the background, again, i spun my body around so i was watching them, but i also sidestepped to viva's side. So tell me viva, why is the colt so quiet? He would be a stunner if only he spoke more often, and your filly, she is fantastic, such a curious one, she will be a wise one when she grows old. you have produced some fine offspring i must say.
I had to compliment her, it was something i was always good at. Prehaps i should call for the youngsters one at a time, get to know then a little better...My harks twitched at their sweet melodies. I smiled, and called out to Obsession. Telling him to come here, i moved away from viva and Faye a little, so my body and voice could be hidden by the trees. So, Obsession, do you like your new home? I asked, desperate to start a conversation. We will ahve such a fun time here kiddo, i wil lteach you alot. Is there anything you would like to know? Either about the lands or myself? As i am itching to know more about you. my tone was soft, as always, i wanted to make friends with him, badly, but would he chip in and accept the offer?

Vivacious
Viva smiled at the thought. Sess was quiet, but not always. Sess is quite shy, but he's lively. And as for Faye, she's a stunning horse...just like her mother! she said, smiling. She couldn't help but giggle at her thought. She called her daughter over and shushed her, then reached down to nip at the buds from the earth.
Obsession
Sess trotted towards the stallion and snorted. He didn't really want anything to do with this horse, yet his mother liked him, and so did his sister. He rolled his eyes and sighed. I like you lands, sir. It's large and homely, quite interesting. He said, simply. He didn't want to be negative so positive was the best way.

Through the fire and the flames we carry on..
I smiled at the mares words, she was such a proud horse, i reached forward and nipped her lightgly on the shoulder, then danced away to Obssession, Harks pricked forward at his words, Why, thankyou Obsession, but you must call me Montè, please. I'm glad you like the forgotton valley. I stepped forward, my bodice was friendly, but it still towered over the young colt, i reached down and lipped at his mane, then snorted, and strode off at a lively trot to find Faye. There was something about this filly that made my heart beat just a little faster, i didn't know what it was, but she made me feel warm inside. Calling out to her, i continued my jog around thje centeral meadow, leaping over a few logs and slowing to a walk as i neared a butterfly bush, i snorted into it and smiled as a few butterflies came flying out. I looked up from the gauge, and my eyes layed on Faye. Whinnying to her, i picked up a trot again, Hi Faye, do you like it here? I asked, reaching forward and nipping her lgihtly on the shoulder, i tossed my crown and took a step back, awaiting an answer from the wonderful filly.

Faye
Faye smiled up at the stallion. Yes, Montè. I really like this land. It's peaceful... she said, taking in the air. She sighed and jumped as the stallion nipped her shoulder. She smiled again and snorted. She looked round and sighed. Are there any other foals here? she asked, wide-eyed with wonder. She walked up to the stallion and waited for her response. She watched her mother, who lay on her side, half asleep. She yawned and turned her attention back to Montè.
Obsession
Sess giggled at his sister. He sighed and shook his head. He nursed from his mother. He licked his lips after and lay down to rest. Moving was tiring for him. He sighed as his tiny eyes closed and he drifted into the land of nod.

So far beyond reality..
I smiled down at the youngster, as she walked up to me, i bumped her neck gently. Indeed, it is very peaceful here, untouched by evil. I'm glad you like it Taking my gaze to my surroundings, i smiled, the faint gushing of the waterfall in the distance, chirping birds, deer, rabbits, all the wildlife playing together, just like one big family. I sighed, breathing in great gulps of the fresh air to clear my mind. Turning my body back towards Faye, How old are you, filly? If you don't mind me asking, of course I wanted to know so much more about everything, my young age made my mind that way. I switched my gaze to mother and child, laying, half asleep, i nickered quietly to them, then a loud call was released to Ava, it echoed, down into the caverns, boucned off the trees, through the lushious blades of grass. I'm sure she would like this family, she was keen to make friends, just like me.

ava Before today I said the words I shouldn't have, Words to hurt you in the moment, but after that..
Maybe a horse with more of a natural flight ability would have been smarter. Ava knew she was bigger, and to a degree, that was an advantage. Most every horse here was a small arabian, so to bring a pure-bred spotted horse here who loomed over them was a great feat. She hadn't shown her in foal barrel yet, so it was even better, but again, she was vulnerable. Her trips to the falls made her a prime target for darks. Bryce taught her to never fear the darks, but it was a second nature to her.. most of the time anyway. A small snort was emitted into the hollow air at that thought.
Ava's broad back was relaxed, neck lowered as her limbs pushed her through the terrain. Bright orbs peered around the land that she'd been exploring for days on end. Boredom was beginning to be the weapon that was killing her slowly, and she wasn't even here for a season yet. But yet, her orbs caught sight of Monte before he called for her. She came from the entrance of the valley, where Monte was, with two- no three, one was laying down, almost unnoticed, equine. Her heart didn't beat faster. Instead, it started to slow, like fear chilling you until you froze. A worried breath escaped her, but she remained out of view long enough to start mumbling.
"Brycey, it hasn't rained for a few days. Was I wrong?"
Angelic vocals strained to produce any sound, and her body hesitantly stepped forward, but she masked the emotions with her creamy tresses. Giving a shake, she covered her eyes to a certain point and moved closer to the pair. Immediately, she spotted two foals and a mare, and Monte. Was this the mysterious mate that he had? Ava's crown tipped to one side, in a near ashamed manner that she was feeling. Bryce hadn't talked about this either. He left too soon, way too soon. Swallowing back the emotions that made tears shine on her orbs, Ava stopped a fair distance away, shifting her broad body. Her crown lowered, staring at the pairs of equines. The young ones caught my attention, and a small smile made my pink mouth twitched, but nothing else happened. The mother of the pair was quiet, and Monte was acting in a way that Ava didn't know. Proud? Bashful? It was unknown to the spotted ess.
"Hello, I'm Ava."
The normally angelic tone wasn't quite scratchy, but it was quiet, nearly emotionless. Her attention was still on the foals, and her crown lowered to their height. Intelligent eyes watched the filly with a non-wavering attention, but then she flinched and glanced up at the sky, begging that it would rain, or stay dry, because she could scent the lingering rain.

We're flying, we're free..
A noticable silence, an eerie feeling, when Ava approched, my harks perked forwards, and a nicker was released from my maw, however, when i saw her emotionless face, i took a slow step back and dropped my head a little. What was wrong with her? And why did this happen everytime a new equine appeared here? My saddened eyes dropped their gaze from Ava, to the floor, i shifted uneasily. A sudden urge shot through me, i wanted this to work. I nickered again, and jogged to her side, lipping at her mane. Hello Ava, this is Viva, Faye and Obsession. They are going to stay here for a while, until Viva's lover, and Obsessions father returns to midnight acres. I stepped back from Ava, behind her, so i wasn't in the middle of them. My gaze rasied to the sky, some rain clouds hovered close by, but would they pass over un noticed? I sighed, inhaling ava's scent.

Vivacious
Viva awoke at the sound of approaching hooves. She stood up lazily and called over her children. She dipped her head politly to the femme and smiled. Hello, good Ava. I'm Vivacious, this is Faye and this is Obsession. she said, nodding towards her little ones. She stepped forward and looked round. T'is a pleasure to meet you...
Obsession
Sess smiled at the fae. She looked nice and gentle. He bowed his tiny skull towards the floor and bobbed it back up to smiled again. He snorted when he heard his name and looked at the stallion, who was head over heels for the fae. He walked up to the stallion again. Do you like her, sir? he said, forgetting he was supposed to call him Montè. He was polite, just like his fatehr had told him to be.
Faye
Faye copied her mother and sighed as her head came up. She walked up to the fae and smiled. Your very pretty, miss! Do you live here? she asked, quite prettily. She looked round at her brother, speaking with Montè. She smiled and turned back.

ava You couldn't fight it anymore, you turned to cry, And I'll never forget the look in your eyes.
Light tinted orbs peered out at a sideways angle, still confused at the situation. The fear that stabbed at Ava's heart grew and dimmed with her presence unknown. As soon as she mumbled out her name, Monte's dark frame approached hers. She could see the lingering saddness in his jade orbs, only making hers lift from his frame, and away. The native tounge that the spotted horses came to mind, but Ava kept her pink rimmed mouth closed, auduals drooping to each side. Swiftly, Spotted limbs, sturdy and raw with power side-stepped away from the green-eyed male, and she moved in closer to the little filly. The filly's mother spoke first though, and her light eyes raised slightly to look the mare in the eyes. Vivacious, Faye, Obsession. The name's stuck in Ava's mind already.
Already, she noticed the black colt inching towards Monte, and speaking in soft words that she couldn't make out. Then the black ess spoke again. Ava nodded quietly, but her attention had since wandered to Faye. She spoke, complimenting how pretty Ava was. Whether or not the young filly always said this, or said it because of Ava's spotted exterior, she wasn't sure. Instead of thinking about it, the ess' crown dropped to the filly's level, revealed a soft smile, and her auduals perked forward. A small sound was emitted from Ava's throat before she spoke.
"Thank you Faye. You are very pretty yourself. And yes, I's staying here, for the time being."
Vocals carried out soothingly, in such a harmonious voice. Ava couldn't avoid the subject of the valley being her home, because she wasn't sure, so instead, she nodded the the young filly. Her crown shook in place, and it raised back to it's normal level, her orbs following Obsession's dark body. The smile remained on her pink lips, but it then it grew thoughtful when she again thought of the foals that were in her mother and father's herd. All were spotted, and all were unique. These two were unique, but nothing else was different about where they were and who they were with.. Hm. A small sigh surfaced, emitting quietly, and then Ava was speaking again.
"Have you two played in the waterfall yet? It's actually quite fun, I can take you there."
Anything to get out of this spot. Limbs stamped the ground efficiently, and then Ava began walking towards one of the waterfall's small trails, leading to the roaring beast. Auduals tipped backwards, listening for any sound of the two following foals.

Faye
Faye eyes lit up and she bounced on the spot. How fun! A waterfall! Is it quite big? she asked, following the mare. She knickered to her brother and smiled. Come one, Sess! Lets go play! she screamed. She looked round at her mother and giggled.
Obsession
Sess smiled and followed his sister. He followed her and nipped her rump. He snorted and looked up at the fae. Hi, I'm Sess! he said, quite happily. He followed her and sneezed. He listened to his sister laugh at him and then he turned and smiled at his mother.
Vivacious
Viva smiled at her children. They where really loving it here, and they had only been here for 10 minutes. She looked round at Montè and smiled. I don't think they've ever been this happy. she said, looking back to see them dissapear.

On towards the wilderness, the quest carries on..
My eyes travelled along with the foals and ava, they were already acting like some sort of family, A faint smile spread on my face and i sighed, swinging my head softly to rid the flies from my black bodice. For a while, my head was turned towards the dissapearing three, i imagined us being here forever, as one big family, growing bigger and bigger. Shaking my crown once again, i turned back towards Viva when she spoke, her words were those of harmony, I dipped my head slightly, then spoke They certainly do look happy viva, I'm glad you followed me here, it's a pleasure to have you staying. I extended my neck slowly and reached out with my muzzle to touch her, snorting softly once again.

Viva smiled at the thought of water being splashed around all over the place, and each horse coming back, laughing and giggling like they were all young, although two of them practically were. She sighed and turned her head towards Montè. I agree, t'is a pleasure, yet this place doesn't feel excatly the same as my old home. Misty Plains was a hilly plaza, lots of trees to hide behind, and a clearing in the centre were you could graze and meet the other members. she said, dreamily. She was half there, half here. She could hear the water rolling away from her, and the children laughing. She snapped back into reality when she heard Faye laugh and scream at her brother. Must be cold water their playing in, she thought.
