Name: Hala
Age: 5
Gender: Mare
Breed: Friesian
Color: Black
Markings: Crescent Moon Blaze and Violet Eyes
Alliance: None as of right now
Foals: None
Relatives: Soleil, Brother (Deceased)
Personality: Hala was a warhorse with her brother Soleil who was killed before arriving in MA. She misses him terribly to the point where it has driven her to be a bit of a loner. She is smart and doesn't enjoy the company of the uneducated. She has a distinct lack of faith in others. She carries her sins heavily and is constantly reminded of her wrong doings. She has a wounded spirit and gets lost in her thoughts easy.
History: Born into a time of turmoil and blood shed, Hala grew up learning how to be strong. Her brother Soleil taught her the ways of war and she fell into the ranks proudly. However, during one long and drawn out battle she watched on as her beloved brother was struck down by the enemy forces. Forced to retreat, Hala was unable to be by her brother's side as he took his last breath. This has stayed with since that horrible day. sHe then decided with nothing left to loose that it would be best if she just disappeared into the world.
Sample Post: (From Cimoron Island 2)She shivered. The wind dung into her side. The winter was harsh and unforgiving. In her mind winter was an awful season. She preferred the summer. She remember playing with her brother when they were small. They were quite different her and her brother. He had tried to teach her everything she had needed to be strong. What he had neglected to teacher her though is how to cope with loss. She had lost a lot lately. Two mates had come and gone. She supposed that for now she could be alone. Alone or with a stallion it was all the same. Stallions didn't scare her. Neither did other mares. She was raised as a war horse. It had been her life. She walked slowly across the meadow. Here I am! Come find me! She let out a loud laugh. She was talking to the wind. Her dark Banner flailed in the wind. She stood still and listened to the sounds around her. The grass danced sharply in the winter's cold breath. It whispered in her ear tales of all those that had stood here before her. She sneered. What pathetic creatures they must have been. Any stallion who decided to claim her would have to be impressive. Someone who was willing to play with her. She took a deep breath. The air stung her lungs but she decided that the pain was good. It made her know that she was alive.
She hoped that the fates would be kind for once. That she could find peace at last. The things of her past would leave her be so that she could rest. That was a joke. She hadn't had a moment of peace for as long as she can remember. She walked slowly forward. She hated this place. She could smell the pathetic needs of the mares that were all around her. She smiled. She would find her peace in time...
