I felt my radars snap back against my crown, sapphire glints narrowing at the sight of Lilith's russet splashed form sauntering forward. Pearly teeth bared, and clacked together towards the bald faced royal, snapping shut before reaching their destined target. What? Why would Lilith's father kill me? I felt my blood spurt through clogged veins, feeling blind with rage. I cried out in a defying outburst, my vocals ringing in my pounding radars. Oh, this day had been turning worse by the minute. "What? Why?!" Boyish lyrics crackled and stretched out in an abnormally high pitch. I glared at Lilith with rage; however, by the time I did, she'd already turned away and was walking off. I watched her return to me, then spin away again. Sapphire orbs blinked, annoyed frown softening slightly. I let my mind wander after Lilith's third lap, and I closed my orbs in disbelief. There would really be a war on the Lake? Even if I didn't have a great relationship with my father, I wouldn't leave him! I was a gangly yearling; not much to serve me in battle with another, stronger foe, but I could do something! "-Come with me to the Woods?" Angry orbs flashed open, and I stared at the two fillies in confusion before narrowing in on Lilith. Go with her? To the enemy's realm? But why?
I only thought it over for a few seconds before replying, my voice hard. "Alright, sure." Arching my thin boa, I watched the overo filly as she did that idiotic prancing around Cocaine, whom I glared at for a few moments, but looked away when the filly started rounding back towards me. I feigned a sharp bite from her, grinding my teeth near her - but I didn't dare bite her. I shifted my weight away from her when she lowered her crown; I expected another nip, but she only licked at my skin, the feeling of her digesting my thick blood alarming. I remained solid though, my skin twitching as her tounge ran over my skin, cleaning my wound slightly. I concentrated on staring at the filly as she enjoyed my ruby tinted blood, and when she turned to leave, I reached out and nipped at her haunches, frown settling over my facade. Radars didn't register the overo's warning, as I didn't believe she was speaking to me. She wasn't, until I heard my name. As I heard that, I snapped my head towards her, releasing a long breath. "Not on my life." My vocals snapped out in a fierce growl, almost blocking out Lilith's side swiping question. I jerked my crown back in surprise, and then replied cautiously, my words slow. "Half brother." Allowing a haughty smirk to spread across my facade as the bald faced royal spoke again, I gave a quick nod and spoke, my voice cocky. "Well, obviously."
My temper started boiling again when I heard Cocaine speak. I whipped my dished crown to glare at her, my voice roaring out. "Where's your mommy you bitch?! Oh, right, she's rotting on the floors of the Battlegrounds, because my dad killed the so called queen of Midnight Acres!" I felt my voice tremble in a hoarse, rough nature, and when I finished, I let my sapphire orbs, fuming and hot stare at Lilith. She was looking at me, speaking with a mocking tone, laced in her whipped words. I continued to watch her with a near blank expression, then replied, matching her tone. "Got a better idea?" I huffed out a warm breath, shot a caustic glance at Cocaine, then moved towards Lilith, nipping her gently as I brushed by her, dappled coat gleaming in the sun. "C'mon, let's go to the Woods." My voice for once sounded patient, and I stared at Lilith, flashing her a wide smirk, and giving her large frame a push.
