The Red Baron A strong gust of wind blew over the mountains, the cold wind chilling the bones of all who felt it, announcing the arrival of a dark horse upon the loner's ledge on the mountain. The sparse vegetation shivered with the wind as long slender legs picked their way carefully through them. The sky was dark, warning as it could the evil that approached the loner stallions' area upon the Gruella Mountains. The masked darkness that none saw until too late was getting ready to make its first big impression on an unsuspecting world. Any beast who wanted to come and challenge him was welcome; he needed the practice.
The Red Baron stopped on the cliff that gave a view of Midnight Acres that few horses ever got to see. The wind came along again and blew back his brilliant red mane and tail, creating quite the breath-taking sight. A red Arabian stallion, standing tall and proud and magnificent upon the cliff overlooking what he saw as his world, his to do what he wished with. His crimson mane and tail blowing out like a banner behind him, his neck arched and his tail held high in traditional Arabian fashion. It was quite the sight to behold.
Red was built particularly well with muscles hiding beneath his red coat, another deception that was rather ironic in a sense. He was tall and lean, a picture of perfection, or so he liked to believe. None knew his power and his malice until one went up against him, head to head, and by then it was too late. He was too clever, too quick, too strong. Nature hiding the muscles with positioning of particular bones and shades of red was only adding to the effect he desired, the mask he wore. The Red Baron was not what he appeared to be. Ever.
The Red Baron turned away from the grand sight laid out before him and raised his muzzle to the sky, just staring for a moment at the darkening expanse above him. Clouds were gathering, threatening to block out the sun, but did not dare do so until the Red Baron had flashed his magnificent red colors in the sun's rays, trotting to the center of the clearing. His head still raised, he reared upon his hind hooves and let out a high-pitched scream that was neither a challenge, nor a welcome. It was a warning. A warning to other stallions that the Red Baron had arrived and any who wished to have the darkest, most cunning dark horse that had ever lived (of course, this is all in his opinion, although he is quite cunning) in their herd or any who wished to challenge the darkest, most cunning dark horse that had ever lived were welcome to try. They were welcome to come, but they were warned.
Red waited patiently, coming back down on all fours and shaking his mane, dark eyes searching the clearing for any signs of life. He would like to challenge a moose right about now, but a horse would do just fine. It would be even better if he were to find a position in a herd, but only the darkest kind of herd.
Character: The Red Baron Word Count: 534 Whoo! Other: He'd welcome a beta position or a fight. Either one, but just to warn you he's a very smart horse and does not fight with sheer muscle...

The heir of Midnight Acres could finally rest at ease for a while, Ava was doing fine since her ambush not long ago. He also had a line of promising foals to be expected from three of his charming mares, but that also came the duty of find warriors to protect these little demons and what better place to find them than Gruella Mountain? But there was also the risk of him getting attacked by a band of bachelor stallions, but would they really take on a 17.1 thoroughbred beast? He shook his head wonderingly while trudging through the snow, keeping his head held high as he leapt upon a small snow bank but soon sunk right down to his stomach. "Fucking snow, no wonder I never resorted to it," he mumbled to himself, slashing his tail upon his hindquarters before taking another great leap, tossing his head back while landing in shallower snow and a huff came from his black lips. He scented another.
Instantly he flew into defensive mode, looking around the large area for the source of the smell, a blank smile upon his facade as he had done so. "Come out, come out wherever you are.." He teased under his breath, his ears sidling out from his forehead while he shook his tressels from his teal view, taking threatening yet steady steps upon the ground. "Here kitty kitty kitty.." again it was under his breath, eyes darting upwards a moving bright chestnut form, lips pulling into a smile as he spotted the animal. Ah, such a wonderful beast he was, but would he be the warrior that The Forgotton Valley was looking for? "Hey, you there, I see you over there!" He hissed lowly, striking the air once with his forehoof.
the beast__ Black Champagne the countings__ 294 the tunes__ hey, you there! by soulja boy the notes__ it sucks, then again Black is a dull boy. All serious and all. not even going to bother with the actual colours.

MARGARITA
Can't you see That I'm the one Who understands Been here all along So why can't you see? You belong with me
I extended my legs as I walked slowly, Taking in all the scents of the stallions here. I smelled two that caught my attention and I took off at a canter to see who the stallions were. I saw them come into view as I got near them. I smiled at the stallions but the red one caught my eye the most. He looked like a dark stallion and he would go perfectly with me.
"Hello boys. Having a fun time playing?" I asked them, Smiling at them both. I tried to decide if I should speak Spanish to them. I decided that I should and translate later. "Soy Margarita. ¿Cuáles son sus nombres?" I asked them, Smiling again. "I'm Margarita in case you can't speak Spanish" I said, a chuckle escaping from my lips. I looked at the dark/light that I heard of, Black Champagne. I looked at him with a blank expression. I wasn't going to be friendly with a dark who was trying to pass as a light since that's not how the darks roll.

The Red Baron Red heard the other stallion coming long before the scent came, carried by another gust of chilly wind that swept over the mountains. He turned his head and his ears in the direction that the stallion was coming from, listening with an amused smile to the grumbling and cursings of the dark stallion. Then he heard the stallion pause and start to creep forward, whispering strange things like 'here kitty kitty'. "Excuse me, kind sir, but I am no kitty," the Red Baron said as politely as he could, a grin upon his maw that he could not wipe away.
Red was the kind of horse that never showed his true colors. Like right now, he was being polite and respectful, trying to present himself as a neutral or light horse just in case this was a light horse or a dark horse looking for a fight. He was trying to pull off his first impression well. Making sure that the unsuspecting world still remained unsuspecting and would not know the evil that roamed it until too late. For now, he would try to appear to be light, or at the very least neutral or even a weak dark horse if Black Champagne was a dark.
He smiled amiably at the new stallion and replied, "Hey yourself. I wasn't trying to hide. In case you hadn't noticed, I just bugled my presence here for the world to hear." One of Red's ears flicked off to the side, hearing the mare approach them. He laughed through his nose, the sound coming out as a short snort. "We aren't playing, dear, we just were exchanging greetings. And I'm terribly sorry, but I'm afraid I don't speak Spanish," he said, as charmingly as possible, to her after she had translated her strange words. He was a tad puzzled, he had to admit...why was a horse speaking Spanish? Better yet, what was a mare doing on Gruella Mountain where normally only stallions ventured? "Hello, Margarita, greetings to you both," he said politely, addressing both the other stallion and the mare at the same time. "They call me the Red Baron, but you can call me Red. May I ask your name, noble stallion?" Although he was being polite to the stallion and the mare, he hardly had any reaction to her presence. For one, she wasn't in heat, and two, he had no reason to claim a mare right now or else he would have gone to Dream Falls.
Character: The Red Baron Word Count: 413 Other: Just to let you know, Palo, Red is the one who is trying to pass off as a light, not Black Champagne. Red's the deceptive one and Margarita, nor Black Champagne, should be able to see at the moment that he is a dark horse.

{ LILITH - Don't be so tense darling; The wind was getting friskier with every step upwards – but so was the thick musky smell of stallion. Mist rose around my slender bodice – hiding its identity – until the last moment. Ebonite orbs watched and observed as the two equines approached the chestnut stallion – but my eyes weren’t completely focused on the two equines, they were focused on the red stallion. The hellion seemed friendly – so honey-tinted friendly that I felt the hairs upon my back start to rise as I continued to observe his behavior. Dark limbs halted as I reached the edge – staring down upon the three horses with an emotionless mask slipped on, how long would it take for them to notice my slender silhouette? Probably way too long. I wasn’t one to linger– stay and chitchat just wasn’t my thing really, I was here for warriors and today, I didn’t exactly feel like coming home empty-handed. I slowly bowed my limbs before laying down – my long slender pillars hanging freely over the edge. I then curved my head slightly to the left – still with my gaze locked upon the red stallion; how on earth could he be so sugar sweet and not feel the urge to puke? I wouldn’t last a day with that attitude.
I twisted my crown to stare at the female for a few seconds too; such a little flirter wasn’t she? But she was an amateur compared to me. “So sweet” I let them have a few seconds to react before speaking up again. “So cute” I sent the mare an arrogant look while speaking; mocking her with my false tones. The pause lasted a few seconds. “But simply.. Not enough” Coal orbs flashed with humor as I slowly rose to my feet once again, making sure to lazily stretch every muscle. Dark orbs sought out the red brute’s eyes as I tried to judge his character once again; something about him wasn’t right – or perhaps I was just interested and wanted to take him home as my new toy. “You however” I took a short pause again to – ever so slowly - curve my head sideways. “Would make a fine toy for me” I let my piercing eyes rake up and down his body; giving him a look that would make most equines blush and run away. Tail flickered lazily from side to side as I awaited his answer to my request – my demand - would I have to challenge him for a brawl, to show him I was capable of handling him? Probably. Red maw broadened as a wolfish smile settled upon my maw. “Any of you weaklings up for challenging me, for my new toy?” Tones were that of a spoiled little girl talking about her new pony to her friends – overbearing, arrogant and dangerous. Black orbits continued to shift between the different equines – always watching, analyzing and on guard. I had recently moved out of the Hollow Woods – but I was still royalty, a daughter of Chaos and Lakita; full sister to the current king of the Woods, could it be any better? Probably not and I enjoyed every moment of it.

MARGARITA
Can't you see That I'm the one Who understands Been here all along So why can't you see? You belong with me
I looked at the two stallions when i heard the sound of a mare's voice. My ears were instantly against my head as I looked at her, My eyes in a narrow glare. I started to grind my teeth together with anger as she called me sweet. I snarled at her as she walked forward, Towards the little group, Party if you will. I listened to the stallion's words then I listened to the mare's arrogant words.
"Bitch, did you wander away from your pretty little castle?" I asked the mare in a sarcastic tone. I laughed at her foolish words. Why would she want one of these foolish little boys as one of her boy toys? I was curious but I didn't want to fight with her. If she wanted to fight with me then so be it but I won't start the fight this time. I let a sharp and dangerous cackle as I moved forward, Flicking everyone with my black tail as I walked by. I looked at the stallions, Curious if they were turned on by the other mare.
"Nice to meet you, Red Baron. It looked like you were playing" I said. "My bad, Darling" I let out a dangerous giggle, Telling him to be cautious not to make a move on me unless I wanted him to. I looked at the other stallion and I smiled at him. "Is there anything interesting about you, Darling?" I asked him. I turned my face to Red and I smiled at him too. "What about you, Red" I said to him, Playing with his name on my tongue. I was trying to decide whither to circle both stallions and flick them with my tail teasingly or not. I circled them and I flicked their flanks with my tail teasingly. I was paying no attention to the other mare since she wasn't important to me, I didn't give a fuck about who she was. I stopped right between the stallions and I looked at both of them. I felt like Red wasn't interested in me, Maybe I could change his mind. Maybe? I know I can! I giggled a little then I stopped. I looked around and I flicked my tail back and forth, Hitting both stallions on their haunch. I wondered what they would do next.

The Red Baron Frankly, Red had not been expecting such a crowd. First the stallion was fine, then a mare, alright, but now his head shot up to regard a mare arrogantly deciding she could claim him when usually stallions claimed mares. Without breaking character for one minute, without flattening his ears or spitting a single harsh word, he smiled charmingly at her, although he was slightly annoyed. "Excuse me, miss, but I am no horse's toy. If you will please not refer to me as such, that would please me very much, thank you," he said as politely as possible, although there was a slight edge to his voice. "May I inquire as to your name?" He really just wanted some information here, he only knew the name of Margarita but the others were a mystery to him
He looked to Margarita who shot back a particularly nasty comment at the horse on the ledge above before she walked by the two stallions flicking them with her tail. Red stepped back a pace, snorting slightly and gave her an out-of-character glare. Well, it did appear that all of the horses here were dark, so perhaps he should drop the facade and put on a new one. Especially since these two mares were getting on his nerves. Perhaps at another time he would have been more amused by the antics of the Margarita and her teasing, but right now he was not. "Interesting? Hon, you have no idea," he growled at the dark mare in between him and Black Champagne. Then his head shot up to look at the mare above them again.
"I will not be treated like some sort of prize or possession, mare," he hissed at the mare who was challenging Black and Margarita for him, like he was a mare! He was a stallion, the darkest stallion to ever set foot on Midnight Acres and he would not accept being treated like this. "No one will fight for me like I'm some female who needs to be claimed. The only horse I'll be going off this mountain with is the horse who offers the best position. I am a warrior and nothing less, so the only fighting that will be happening here today and from any of you who wish to die," he spat at Lilith, his entire demeanor changed in an instant. The Red Baron was not pleased with the way Lilith was talking down to him or the way Margarita was attempting to flirt with him. He was not interested in claiming any mares now.

{ LILITH - Don't be so tense darling; Dark obits widened slightly with amusement as the strange mare dared to call her a bitch. Margarita had hit home though – I mean I had managed to strive away from my pleasant throne upon the Cliffs, but this was so much more interesting. Russet maw parted as a red tongue curled out to lick my pearly teeth. “Mmm I did darling; would you like to see it? I’m sure you would absolutely love it” The tones that danced out of my parted mouth was sugar-sweet with a hint of irony to it; I meant it – she would probably love my lands, especially when I push her off my favorite Cliff. I curved my head sideways again – a cute habit I had adopted – before sending the mare an innocent look; the game was on. Maroon crown twisted to the Red stallion as he answered to my request. Immediately a pout settled upon my lips, so he was playing hard to get eh? I liked it! I didn’t need any wimps to join us at the Cliffs; every turn and step up there could be a one-way ticket to your death, if you were stupid, you wouldn’t last a day. I slowly began making my way down to the three equines – this time however, a serious look had settled upon my features. I sized The Red Baron up as I approached him with graceful steps; I took in his appearance, the size of his bodice – and the dangerous glint in his eyes. So the Baron was dark eh? That was a plus – especially if he could fight. “As a toy you wouldn’t last a day at the Cliffs – as a skilled warrior you might.” I let my black orbs run down his lean bodice once again.
We were at war soon – the Cliffs would lead an attack upon a few selected lands and if this Stallion decided to choose the opponent I’d have to know his weaknesses. I shifted my eyes to the unknown stallion – he didn’t seem dark, perhaps he was the leader of one of our targets? I sure hoped so. The wind sung to me of storms approaching – of the blood and chaos that would roam the lands once we marched off towards the lands. I was in my own world for a few minutes – picturing the dead horses and the scared foals; I would end up having a whole army as my slaves! Coal orbs flashed with excitement before twisting my Arabic head around to stare at the Baron once again. “I can offer you a place in a warrior’s herd; the only way up there is proving your worth by fighting in the upcoming war” My lyrics were dead serious – all humor gone from my feline eyes; I didn’t want to recruit just anybody, if they wanted a good position, they would have to earn it. If I had wanted a herd with lots of foals and broodmares, I would have staid with the most powerful stallion at the moment – my brother, but I wanted to fight; see the blood color the earth red. Hm. I’d really have to go home to my brother for a while soon - to discuss the casualties of the war with him. The usual ‘Who will get that’ blabla talk.
ooc: haha that's just Lilith

BLACK CHAMPAGNE } { Start with straight shots then pop bottles Flirt with the hood rats then pop models Start with straight shots then pop bottles Flirt with the hood rats then pop models } The black stallion was swarmed by horses and soon he sidled back a few steps and slashed his tail upon his haunches. He wasn't in the mood for a fight but he believed he was here first, therefor he would have the right to take the stallion home, but also popped up would he go with him. There was Margarita, why she was here he had no clue, she didn't smell like she had someone owning her and Lilith smelled like Fenrir just a little, knowing they had recently claimed Knife's Edge, but in all reality they had nothing to protect, both Lilith and Fenrir were perfect fighters, but for now he'd just stay out of their way. "I understand you're not a cat, silly," he answered the red stallion, black head tilted sideways just a tad until he turned towards Margarita and her sharp tongue, his ears pulled back and his ashen lips pulled back to reveal yellowed, blood-stained canines that snapped out for her jugular vein, hissing a warning. Turning his head towards the red stallion again a smile came across his face, "Well Red Baron, I be Black Champagne. Great grandson of Dio, although I doubt you'd care."
"Margarita has a point, Lilith. You have some nerve coming here, knowing somehow you're not wanted. Who's going to save you if you were attacked, hm?" He pointed out, a sly smile coming across his features as he took a step towards the other mare as her whipcord came across his haunches. He didn't know if she had wanted to tempt him but it wasn't working to say the least, so instead he just shrugged his shoulders and leaned all of his weight on his right leg, ears tilted sideways to catch everyone's words. Finally he found something proper to say and he puffed out his chest, arching his neck downwards before it shot up again. "Lilith, why don't you crawl back to your little cabana boy and find someone else to pester, you spoiled bitch. Is it not obvious Red doesn't want to go with you?" He snorted furiously, before turning back towards the stallion. "Sorry for my attitude, but I have a better position for you. It's a shitload better than a warrior, how'd you like to be my faithful co-captian? I mean, I have little foals due in spring and I need someone to protect them.."

Can't you see That I'm the one Who understands Been here all along So why can't you see? You belong with me
I looked at the black stallion as he spoke to Red. He turned and looked at me, His blood stained teeth bared at me. He reached forward, Aiming for my jugular vein. I snarled at him and I bared my teeth at him. I reached out with my head, Pulling my jugular vein out of his reach, And I aimed for his ear, Trying to nip at his ear telling him to watch his actions around me. His words to Lilith made my sour mood disappear. A sly smile formed on my face as I listened, My ears alert and forward. So I made a point?
"I made a point? Well, That's shocking" I said, chuckling a little. I looked at Lilith and I smirked at her, Gloating if you will. I looked back at Black Champagne as he offered Red a co-captain position in his herd. "That's quite a position, Huh Red?" I asked him, Guessing his answer. I wondered what Red would say to me and Lilith next. I looked at him, Studying his face, His emotions. 'It must be nice getting all the attention Red is getting right now" I thought, Sighing deeply. Maybe he would tell me what it's like to be the center of attention right now. Just maybe.

The Red Baron All of this attention was doing not a thing for Red's ego. He had no ego. Or perhaps his ego was already so inflated that no amount of attention could make it any larger than it already was. That could be the case, but one would never know. He watched Lilith retort back to Margarita, feeling but the smallest bit of sympathy for the young mare. She did not belong here, she had no herd to call her own and no stallion on Gruella Mountain was looking to claim a mare. At least, Red wasn't. He watched Lilith approach, appreciating the way she moved but not impressed by it.
"I could survive anywhere, if you don't mind me saying," Red shot back at Lilith, curling his lip slightly to reveal his distaste. He watched Black Champagne's aggressiveness towards Lilith with a blank look. "Nice to meet you, Black Champagne," he said quietly, wondering if he would even be heard. He felt alike a mare that was being fought over by a bunch of petty stallions. Still, he liked the offers getting better and better.
"Faithful co-captain, eh?" he said with a small smile to Black Champagne and then to the other two. "Anyone got a better offer than that? Because the way I see it, a co-captain is a lot more powerful than a simple 'warrior'." Red's gaze fell on Lilith, challenging her to either give up, give a better offer, or fight. Apparently, the Red Baron was in high demand.
